Was very pleasant coming here for annual eye exam! The online forms and setting up an appointment was straightforward. Street parking in the area is plentiful but there is a small lot on the side as well. The interior is bright and immediately when you walk in, they have your paperwork ready and the staff was knowledgeable about your insurance, telling you upfront what the copay would be and what other payments you would be able to get today which I really appreciated. The appointment was on time, Dr. Boutros was easy going, friendly, and genuine to hear concerns and provide honest recommendations. I was able to leave with some contact lenses to test and she also provided a couple of single use eye drops because I noted sometimes my eyes get dry. I went to pick up my daughter's replacement glasses and the receptionist told me she needs the old glasses back to GIVE BACK TO THE MEDICAL LIKE A SWAP I was like ok I gave her the old ones. The new glasses weren't made correctly I called and let them know, they said to go in. They wanted to leave my child without glasses(she wears them all the time) I asked for the old glasses in the meantime, one of the ladies told me "we put them in the donation box"......what do you mean? You said you had to give it to the medical. They took a long time looking for the glasses just to bring them out broken. They were no help at all I went somewhere else to get her glasses fixed. I lost my reading glasses about a year ago and have been absolutely DREADING going to an optometrist to get a new pair because: 1 I didn't want to know how bad my eye sight was getting & 2 since I've worked in eyewear retail I am very very picky about glasses. But after losing my job because of COVID-19 and spending hours on a computer to do job applications, my eyes just couldn't take it. A really good friend of mine referred me to Dr. Boutros and all I am beyond glad I went to her. Her office was clean, modern and chic. She has fun background music playing and she has a great selection of designer brands you can choose from! It's not your boring typical optometrist office. Dr. Boutros is a dear friend of ours and invited us to her soft opening of her practice. She's really invested a lot in top of the line equipment and great variety of high end spectacle wear. Our exams were fast but thorough. She even caught something suspicious in my right eye that no previous doctor has ever brought to my attention. She made sure to take additional photos of my eye to document everything. She has great bedside manners and always manages to make us laugh. No white coat syndrome here! I was referred here by a good friend and from the moment I walked in to the end, it was all a very great and smooth experience! The place is very new and the staff was great and helpful. I saw dr. Lourice for my eye exam and she really took the time to explain everything that was going on. Verses other places I've gone to, they rush the process and never really explain anything. So it was wonderful to have someone take the time to do that. When a provider (Dr. Boutros) and staff (Jia) exceed every expectation, they deserve more than 5 stars. I had a 4-5 month saga with another optometrist in Pasadena who could not get my vision corrected. I had several visits and several incorrect prescriptions written. I also see a retinal specialist several times a year. I asked my specialist if there was any structural reason my vision could not be corrected to 20/20 or 20/25. He said no. When I discussed that with the optometrist, he suggested I find another doctor..... so I did. And what a great move! I went by See Clear, spoke to Dr. Boutros and was impressed with her willingness to discuss things with a "not-yet-patient". I made an appointment and the exam was very thorough. She was incredibly attentive to detail and got my progressive lenses to correct my distance to almost 20/20. To add to the experience, using the same vision insurance, the cost was over $100 LESS than the prior doctor. From start to finish, this was an incredibly positive experience.
