I have passed Prego Again more times than I can count, and it is always busy, but I'm just not a huge sandwich person, so I never really thought to stop in. Today I was walking by hungry, noticed they had bowls, and decided to give it a try. I got the Teriyaki Chicken Bowl and it was phenomenal. The salad was HUGE and everything was layered so beautifully that it almost felt too pretty to dig into. Almost. If I lived nearby, I would honestly turn this place into my meal prep because one bowl could easily be two lunches for me. I already have my eye on the Mediterranean Bowl, so I will definitely be back. One tip: order online! I didn't realize until after I ordered at the counter that they actually encourage online ordering, and it definitely seems to be the way to go. Ordering in person was a little awkward because I walked up to the counter and the person working initially walked away, so I stood there for a bit before he realized I was actually trying to place an order. No one was rude at all, it just seems like their system is much more geared toward online orders. While I was waiting, several people came in, grabbed their food almost immediately, and left. That was when I realized they clearly knew something I didn't. So: get the Teriyaki Chicken Bowl, order it online, and enjoy having enough food for tomorrow's lunch too. Quaint and clean grab and go or made to order coffee shop and sandwich/bowl spot. Not a fan of sandwiches, they made my tuna salad as a salad (also have salads on the menu) . Fresh and delicious. Also ordered a green fruit smoothie without a few ingredients and they were happy to make it to order. They offer lots of pastries and coolers of drinks and wine and snacks. I wanted to grab a sandwich before leaving and came here with my friends for early lunch. There was a little line but it went fast. Both inside and outside had seating. Every sandwich was extraordinary. I had the single turkey wrap but the kimchi wrap was insanely good. The pastrami was massive! You really get value for your money here!! read more

We were staying at a hotel in this neighborhood and were looking for a quick lunch where we could eat outside. I found this place on Yelp and it seemed to fit our needs perfectly. When we arrived, we immediately saw that they didn't have any outdoor tables. Not sure if they got rid of them or if they don't have them out for the season yet, but it's the middle of May in DC so you would think they would be out by now. I stopped by this wine/beer/store/deli on the way to pick up a sandwich for lunch. Got a roast beef and provolone sandwich, which comes with sautéed onions and mushrooms (served hot). The sandwich was absolutely delicious! It filled me up for lunch and kept me full for ages. You order at the deli section, and then pay up front. The man working the food told me it'd be 10 minutes which gave me enough time to pick a bottle of wine I wanted for later, pay (sandwich was $12), and return in time to grab my sandwich. read more
