A great place to work with plenty of seating, nice workers and several smoothies, juices and shakes. I ordered the avocado shake, which was the right amount of sweet and filling, since I hadn't eaten much earlier in the day. They also have food items, although I haven't tried them yet.

Chill spot! Great service. Healthy options! Convenient location. Free gift with first purchase.

Huge selection of juice, coffee, and tea & the inside of this location is really cute. Enjoyed a hot tea and blueberry scone while I read for a few hours. Would definitely come back.

I was dying for a green juice while traveling in DC. I got a 16oz green tonic and it hit the spot! Cool, refreshing, and not sweet at all - exactly what I wanted. I also ordered a sandwich on their app - because you get one free item if you're a new app user / customer. The sandwich wasn't bad, but wasn't great either. They have restrooms for customers which is nice - but you need to ask for the code. There's ample seating inside and they also have outdoor seating. The workers here weren't super friendly but they got the job done so it's fine.

Stopped by Joe & The Juice for a pick me up after a long day of teleworking! I was in need of an Iced Vanilla Latte and remembered I had not tried Joe & the Juice's coffee yet. This location Downtown is stunning! I absolutely love the decor - very mid-century modern with fun artwork all around the store. Extremely spacious and plenty of room to grab a drink or lunch with a friend, get some work done (electrical outlets available!), or to just admire the ambiance. My latte was lightly sweet and packed a strong coffee/vanilla flavor - just how I like it! I adored the circular ice cubes as well as the pink logo that matched my nails I had gotten done earlier that day. The large latte was around $6.50, a pretty standard price for specialty coffee in DC. The service was speedy and helpful! My drink came out in a few minutes and tasted great. While J&TJ is on the pricey side, it is well worth the productive, aesthetic vibes the store provides. Will be back soon!

The slab sandwich was pretty good. Decent price. Plenty of cream cheese in it. The eggcado bowl had good flavor but not that easy to eat. The large chunks of tomato with the greens on the bottom and large avocado was hard to get some of everything in all bites but had good flavor. The juice, the green prince, was over priced for what it was in my opinion. Was a little tart but ok. Just over priced. Service was just ok. They took the order quickly which was nice. Seemed somewhat annoyed when I asked where the straws were as she said abruptly "behind you". The ambience was nice. Had some music playing and lots of tables to sit at and enjoy the food/drink.

Joe & The Juice is simply ok. The service was good nothing special and there is a little bit of a wait even if no one is there - obviously they have to put it together etc. It takes a little longer than you usual but it's ok. I got the spicy tuna add avocado. Unfortunately it's not very spicy the jalapeños are more sour than spicy and I couldn't even taste the hot sauce I also got like 2.5 pieces of avocado. I'll stick to the regular tunacado next time if I do come back - the price is ok for a quick lunch if anything.

Stopped for breakfast nothing to extravagant avocado sandwich and a iconic tonic Sandwich 7/10 Drink not good at all very watery and not even cold I'm not sure how they managed to make a smoothie room temp Service was great though

Feels like another one of those trendy, aesthetic LA places that looks nice but doesn't actually have good quality food. I've heard raving reviews about joe and the juice's tunacado sandwich so I was pretty disappointed. Literally nothing special, it's just this thin danish rye bread, tuna that tastes the same as Subway, and some avocado slices. There's supposed to be pesto but I couldn't taste it. It's supposed to be low calorie and that makes sense because you do not feel full after you eat it. Really unfilling compared to a tuna sandwich I could just buy at Subway. The inside is very nice and reminiscent of a coffee shop. I would come here if you wanted to hang out at the store with friends, but don't expect anything special of their $12 sandwich.

To me, it is always sad and unfortunate when an establishment is doing great and then goes downhill. This used to by my go to spot! Especially considering how it is one of the few healthy options in the general area. For me, the biggest let down has been the customer service and overall quality. Today I walked into the establishment (8/16 at 11AM). All the staff was in the back of the kitchen texting. I know they saw me walk in. So, I came up to the counter and waited for a minute. When I realized no one was coming, I spoke and out and said "Hello, how are you doing?" The girl turned around and looked at me like I just woke her up from a nap. She looked highly bothered. Her facial expression read that she did not want to be there at all. I then ordered my drink and she had her colleague make it (THANK GOD). As I believe that food preparation is energy exchange, and I did not want to drink something made by someone like that. I could also hear her joking with her colleague about "He said hello, expecting me to just suddenly stop texting". I must be honest and say that the customer service here is heavily lacking. To the point that regulars have noticed it, and it is driving customers away. I am all for hiring young people, (being a young person in their 20's myself). Though I believe that they should be properly trained. I will not be returning here again, and I hope that you guys can genuinely get it together.

Came here to try the tunacado and spicy tuna after it blew up on tiktok. Both were good, but nothing to go out of your way for. Solid healthy tuna sandwich. Spicy is better, especially w added avocado. The bread is hard and chewy; I'm indifferent about it. They did not package it in the pretty pink box, I was v sad I didn't get to open my sandwich present, but fine. Ordering online and on the app was a hassle; both platforms weren't user friendly. After unsuccessfully trying to place an order online 3x, my friend downloaded the app in hopes it would go through. My goodness that was a pill. It took her around and around in circles. It took 20 minutes total to finally place an order. You get something free on your first order on app so get you a free spicy tuna!!

Always a vibe. I've been eyeing this establishment pre pandemic and tried it for the first time this year in New York. I feel so ashamed that it took me so long to check it out. I introduced my mama to Joe + The Juice yesterday. Needless to say, she is a fan! I'm addicted to the tunacado sandwich (I sometimes add spinach) and often find myself eating one while in store and then ordering one to go "for later" or the next day. I also love their juices and matcha green tea latte. The "Pick Me Up" is my fav juice! This location is super cute and chill. It's a nice place to relax, eat good, study and catch up with family and friends. The service was really good. If you haven't been to Joe + The Juice yet, this is your sign to goooooo.

The ivy wrapping the entire exterior of the building is stunning -- it feels like the cafe grew right out of the earth itself. The garden is lush, intentional, and beautiful, and the grapevine patio pulls you in like you've stumbled onto a secret courtyard in the middle of the city. I rode the metro over an hour from Alexandria for this and the exterior alone told me the commute was worth it. The iced coffee delivered. The vibe inside is warm, neighborhood-cozy, and full of character. This place has a soul that most coffee shops spend years trying to manufacture. Four stars instead of five -- and here's my honest feedback with love. The outdoor seating is gorgeous but the trees overhead drop baby spiders constantly. I watched them land on my table, my drink, and my arm more times than I could count. The birds hopping onto tables scavenging for crumbs added to the chaos. For a patio this beautiful, the experience deserves better. The fix is already in the DNA of this place. Weaving lavender, peppermint, chrysanthemums, citronella grass, marigolds, and rosemary throughout the patio would naturally deter spiders and mosquitoes while making the garden even more breathtaking. The fragrance would become part of the experience. Big Bear Cafe is already special. The ivy, the garden, the coffee, the community energy -- it all works. A few intentional additions to the patio and this place is untouchable. I will absolutely be back.

I visited Bluestone around 4 PM in the afternoon, so it was a bit too late for coffee, but I love that they offer a wide selection of non-coffee drinks. I got their golden latte, which includes turmeric, almond milk, and a few other spices; it feels warm (both literally and figuratively) and is a lovely caffeine-free drink that helps me feel healthy as the weather gets colder. And to counterbalance any potential health benefits I might have gotten from the golden latte, I also got their chocolate chip cookie, which was massive -- almost the size of the plate they served it on. It was a solid cookie, slightly chewy but with a nice crust, although it was a bit lacking in chocolate chips. Bluestone is undoubtedly a rather pricey cafe, but I do love how quiet it is, so I'm sure I'll be making another visit the next time I need to be super productive.

To say, I am disappointed in my experience here is an understatement. I don't normally write review, however, I want to warn others before they waste their money. I went with a friend to support local businesses. We were excited because the reviews were pretty solid. However, once we ordered, we were greatly disappointed. I ordered a Matcha Latte and the servers simply poured milk into a dirty worn out cafeteria plastic cup and dumped matcha powder in it without stirring or blending or adding any flavor. The picture shown below is after I mixed the powder into the milk more. My friend ordered a caramel frappe (not pictured) and the drink lacked caramel. It was simply blended milk and ice. The making of our drinks did not reflect a "cafe" style nor experience. Moreover, the food was below lackluster. The Northern Capital sandwich looked amazing in theory; however, I received one small piece of chicken on a large hoagie roll drenched in mayo with 3 pieces of spinach and a slice of avocado. In my opinion, the portions definitely did not match the price of the sandwich. Furthermore, my friend ordered the Steak & Cheese which came without cheese. After this, my friend and I did not drink the Latte and Frappe. We ate a small portion of the sandwiches to give the restaurant a fair chance, but we were beyond disgusted with the drinks. Therefore, we asked for a refund or the server to re-make them. To which the server laughed in our face with a nasty attitude replying, "Absolutely not!" I absolutely hate to leave a 1-star review on a local restaurant, but I could not go on without warning others to avoid the "cafe" portion of this place if you value your money. Fortunately, we went to a local restaurant nearby afterward to cleanse our palette and thoroughly enjoyed the service and food. More importantly, the prices were comparable to this place but they provided much larger portions and great service.
