Precision Import is a great operation, honest, straight forward at a competitive price! This was the second vehicle I took to them for repair work. Both times I took vehicles in, the staff was courteous and professional, with excellent communications. Being a business owner myself, I respect the fact that business operates with such professionalism and expertise. I would HIGHLY recommend taking your vehicle here for anything that you need. I called the main number today to confirm if there would be a long wait for a brake and light inspection I needed for the DMV. They said, come in and we will squeeze you in and get you in and out in FAST, due to my appointment I had to get to.. I went in and sure enough, in and out quick, great friendly staff, VERY informative, the price was competitive with another shop I called, but MUCH better environment. My dollar got stuck in their soda machine, and the owner came over, gave me a dollar and put his in, then two sodas came out and he gave one to me and one to one of his mechanics.. Total nice owner, that showed his character.. I would send ANYONE that needs auto repairs to Precision.. 100% Satisfied.. read more

Read some of the Yelp reviews and decided to take my daughters VW Jetta in. We were experiencing some oil spots on our drive way and needed to find out what was wrong. I was greeted in the office by Michael, he was very nice and told me he would do an oil change and look at the possible leak. When I came back to pick up my vehicle, Michael again greeted us and never tried to up-sell. The small "leak" wasn't bad but should be taken care of and gave us a reasonable quote. This place is now our go to place! Service was very professional and Michael is the best! read more

Great service and professionalism. Great quality and very affordable compare to dealer services especially if you have European cars. I had my Land Rover serviced here for the first time and it was done when promised for the cost I was quoted which was about 40% lower than dealer's quote. I will bring my BMWs here as well from now on. Thank you-! read more

These guys are solid. I love the father-son family business, and this is the type of place that our great country is all about. Integrity. Service. I've seen the myriad of reviews about Mano and his son. But I worked with Leville. Leville is ALSO great; service-oriented and knowledgeable. So happy to have found this place, and they'll be taking care of my family's vehicles from now on! read more

This place is my new car repair place. My friend has his cars repaired at this same shop and he says just bring it to my guy I use. The guy is 100% real and he will work with you. I said okay i'll bring it down. So i get there and the guy is super nice and listens to what i say then adds his own professionalism to then he says let me check the car out and ill get back to you. Note the car had a lot of issues and he gets back to me in maybe 1 1/2 and says here is what i got and he broke it down and gave me a total and started the work and the car is my kids car we got it used and it's never ran this good before. read more

Fantastic crew! They have fixed multiple Volkswagen cars of mine. Great work, great customer service!

My check engine light lit up on my Mini Cooper, so I took it to Precision for a diagnostic check. They called my back within an hour explaining the issue. They had even taken the extra step of calling the Mini Cooper dealership in Ontario to see if my issue was covered under any warranty or recall. Unfortunately it wasn't, but Precision was able to get the parts and have it repaired within 24 hours. I didn't need an appointment or anything, they just got my car in and done for me. Would definitely recommend Precision Import Auto Repair! read more

Michael and his team are definitely top tier, was recommended to come here to have our C55 AMG fixed when 4 other Mercedes specialty shops (ranging from LA to OC) couldn't get the car up to full working condition. Michael took his time on diagnosing what was going on and ultimately gave me my options as to what direction I wanted to attack the issues with...this was very critical given he gave us the ability to decide as to what we felt was worthwhile as opposed to others throwing in the towel. Found out the bottom of the engine was a gamble at that point so we decided to overhaul everything and put in a fresh power plant. From polishing out the transmission to mounting new tires, the car is now back to being amazing again (they also smogged the car and made sure it was good enough to pass). We loved that throughout the entire build we were kept in the loop and the amount of non-stop testing was more than we could ask for. Also I can guarantee you that you will immediately feel comfortable with Michael and his team given how nice they are and that they truly are car people who love what they do. I would always bring in my Mom and sister to have a look at the progress and Michael would take 20-30 minutes on giving a play by play, it was a nice touch. Thanks for keeping a the C55 alive, it has a special place in our family! read more

Yogi really took care of me. I'm new to the area, and looked them up. It was a busy Friday but Yogi made sure to fit me in. I asked for a overall diagnosis on the car. He told me to come right down and began work on the car. I am so happy because it wasn't a long wait and he made sure to take care of everything needed. I would recommend this auto shop to everyone. I know this will be my go to shop. I've heard excellent things about this shop. I definitely can see why. read more

I am a master Audi tech and had a repair I could not do at the house. So I set it up to have the transmission removed and A seal replaced here. It was the only real issue the vehicle had. They found a leak and needed a vacuum pump, ok.. But then it was. a front engine over that is leaking, that is not leaking, the shifter cable is not WAY out of adjustment that they said it had to be replaced, and then I found the engine was 2.5 quarts low on oil after I just topped it off before it went over there. Best of all that, they completely broke the shifter knob and ripped the leather shifter boot in half. When confronted I was told that the car was old and it really didn't matter. They are nice guys, but that only goes so far when the repairs turn out to be over twice what was planned and then they basically tell you to "pound sand" when they break stuff in your car. Being a tech for many years I couldn't imagine treating a customer like this at a shop or dealership service department. read more

Hands down the friendliest auto shop I have ever stepped foot in. I'm so happy that someone recommended this place to me. I have an 09 Audi that decided to start giving me some issues. They were able to fix the issue without it costing me my first born. On top of being qualified technicians with reasonable pricing, they are very honest. I highly recommend Precision hands down. From the moment I walked in, I was treated with respect and genuine care for the customer. This family business has built quite a reputation for themselves and now I understand why. The YELP reviews were the reason why we choose their shop for our x5 diesel and I wanted to be sure to share my experience, too. We had an oil leak and I was dreading the potential repair costs. I had noticed that it was dripping from the drain plug, but no way could we get that lucky...right? And, what repair shop is honest enough to tell you that's all it is. Well, as it turns out the drain plug was cross threaded and replacing was all that was needed. An oil change and a drain plug and I was on my way. This just never happens! Michael had come and told me potential scenarios (if lucky just the drain plug, retapping, potential oil pan replacement, etc) and spoke to me like an intelligent person; not assuming I didn't understand because I am a woman. I grew up with two grandfathers and a dad that were certified mechanics and I could immediately sense that he was an honest business man. While my vehicle was being -"assessed and worked on I waited in the office with Michael's Dad (sorry, I missed his name - for shame!! :) I listened as he carefully made calls to vendors to find the best option for a customer needing a new engine (ouch). There was great care made in his questioning and putting together a plan for this customer. Lastly, in the back room was another staff member that I believe I heard his name was Yogi (my apologies if I got that wrong or misspelled) - he was working on fixing something electronic at his desk, but took the time to talk to me while my car was being worked on, and explained a bit about their processes and how I could visualize my vehicle in the service bay on their screen above the desk and see it being worked on in real time. Super nice gentleman! Oh, and thank you to the tech that was able to remove the cross threaded drain plug without causing damage to the threads. You win the MVP! Start to finish this was an A+ experience and we will only trust these folks with our vehicle. Let's face it, the unknowns of bringing your vehicle to the repair shop and waiting for the diagnosis are never fun, but you can at least be sure you will get honest and fair treatment from this business and be treated with respect and a genuine sense that they care about their customers. Can't beat that! read more

My Volvo XC70 took to bogging on my long commute from Long Beach to South Corona yesterday. Having just moved from Pomona, I left behind my trustworthy European Auto Guy, in which I had complete trust, and instead had to go online for both a tow truck and an auto repair that works on Volvos nearby my work. Lucky me to find Precision Import Auto Repair (and Battery Towing - who responded to my call in less than 15 minutes) Got my car towed, diagnosed and repaired in less than 2 days- and the repair was extensive. The team at Precision did a great job servicing my BMW 335i. Friendly, Fast, Reliable - I will definitely be a repeat customer!!

I have a 2001 BMW 325xi. It's not a $50,000 but its mine and I enjoy working on it. I couldnt diagnose a misfire so I brought it in around 3PM on a Friday. The said they can diagnose it for one hour of labor $135. At 5 I returned and they asked to keep it until Monday to continue diagnostics, while still keeping the the quoted price. That was fine. They called me Monday asking for another hour of labor and I explained to them that they had agreed to keeping it within the $135 quote they had originally given me. After a few words, I sympathized with them and agreed. I ended up paying for a valve job, which fixed my problem, quoted around 3100. They call me Friday, a week later, saying it was done and ready for pick up. Came in Monday on my lunch break to see my car up on a lift with two plastic covers missing from underneath. It came in with nothing missing on the vehicle. They said it had only come in with one and they didnt install it because it was in bad shape. I insisted that I brought the car with all covers, only to have the mechanic drag out the other cover that had obviously been run over. They offered to replace it at no cost along with a couple of cosmetics covers in the engine that were missing as well. Then I started asking about the charges on the bill. They added two heater hoses, which was never agreed upon and a set of spark plugs. When I asked to set the old parts they could only bring one heater hose and said that my original spark plugs good so they left them in the car. So they took the spark plugs and one heater hose off the bill, and ordered the plastic covers they had lost and broken. I left in my car, about an hour after I had arrived, on my lunch break, and the new parts would be in Monday. They call me Monday to let me know the parts had come in, and they would install them. My faith in them had wavered, they didnt even wash my car and left my engine bay a mess, and I told them that I would pick up the parts and install them myself. I go in Tuesday to pick up my parts, only for them to tell me I owe more money, after I had already paid the $3000 that we agreed upon the previous Friday. They said they found the other heater hose and that new spark plugs were put in my vehicle, and that was another $200. They showed me the old heater hoses and 4 of my 6 spark plugs. I asked where the other ones were because they had less than 500 miles on them and were expensive. He proceeded to tell me that they weren't new, not offering to look for or replace them. At that point I left, I told them to keep their parts, that I had originally gone in there to pick up, after they had one over one and lost the others. I left feeling that they had disrespected not only me but my car as well. They have lost my trust and I will not be going back. read more

Had our LR4 fixed twice at this location. Dishonest company beware. Both times something broke as we left his facility. The first time we thought it may be a coincidence. The second time, as we drove out of their parking lot after hours, our back up sound indicator would not turn off. We immediately texted Michael and let him know there was an issue as this had never happened before and was not like this when we dropped it off. He said to call them the next day. When we called he told us to bring it in and it would be $495 to "diagnose" the issue as they had never heard of such a thing(??!!). Of course we refused to pay them to diagnose an issue they created. I googled the issue and was able to diagnose it myself within 10 minutes as it's an obvious diagnosis for anyone that works on Land Rovers. The front sensor had been pushed in about 3 inches. Had they taken 5 minutes to look at my car they would have seen this, without incurring $495 to diagnose. No damage near the spot, about 1" diameter and just forcefully pushed in about 3". The only way to fix this was to take the bumper off. We called and let them know that either someone who worked there or a vandal on their site did this(although if a vandal they would have realized the issue when they moved our car throughout their lot). I have a feeling they did this to generate more business. They refused to even look at the car without us paying them money. We ended up dealing with the sensor going off for months on end (about 1 minute long beeping every time we started the car) until we sold the car. We did text them when we went to sell the car and we told him we would post on Yelp what had happened. Of course now he suddenly offered to look at the car. Too late. Don't trust this shop. They will fix one issue and on purpose break something else. read more

Wow, can't believe that nobody has written a review for them before! They are the most honest and trustworthy mechanic in town. Not only do they explain everything too you in the beginning, they're very honest in finding the problems with the car. I had loud clicking noises in the engine which I thought for sure would need some sort of expensive valve job but it only required an oil change because the oil level was running low. I was expecting an expensive job and ended up with an oil change, how do you beat that? They do all sorts of cars too, not just imports so don't let the name fool you. They'll even pick you up and drop you off if you live nearby while they fix your car. WIth kids and myself at work all day, the rides really helped. Thank you Mike and Manel! read more

I couldn't be happier with Precision Auto! My range rover broke down on me while getting on the freeway. I first got quoted for $7,000 for the 2 main repairs needed... I called around a number of places and came across Michael. Michael was incredibly helpful, from walking me through what was important to take care of right away - to what can wait - how much each cost. I ended up getting more done on my car; including an oil change, new filters, etc. I paid a total amount of $2,800.00! Everyone I spoke to was incredibly nice.
