BE WARE!!!!!! UNETHICAL COMPANY. THEY ONLY CARE ABOUT MONEY. This tow company operates in an unethical and predatory manner. I live in a community where, according to management, vehicles are not supposed to be towed within one minute when someone is briefly picking up a passenger, making a delivery, or using the restroom. The driver watched my sister step out of her car to use the bathroom and pick up her son. I have timestamped video showing her approaching my door at 4:03 p.m. At 4:04 p.m., the tow truck was already backing up to take her car. The driver was clearly waiting and fishing for an opportunity to tow someone. These tactics are ridiculous and reflect a serious lack of integrity. I understand my community's parking rules, and it is troubling that this company's drivers either do not know them or choose to ignore them for profit. This company needs to train its drivers properly and conduct business with greater honesty and professionalism. Please do better. Bottom line watch out when using them to tow your vehicle, if they are shady in conduction or enforcing these rules I could see them taking advantage of you if you're in need or broken down on the highway! read more

I completely understand that this is a business and that employees are simply doing their job. That said, having your vehicle towed is already an extremely frustrating experience, and having to rearrange your morning to go retrieve it only adds to that frustration. What made the situation unnecessarily worse was the attitude of the employee I dealt with. From the moment I arrived, the interaction felt unnecessarily rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. I understand that employees deal with difficult situations and customers every day, but basic courtesy and professionalism should still be expected. Started with Hamner not testing the battery & alternator correctly. Then telling me they don't have my battery replacement. Not looking in the right book. Then seeing they have the same battery I've used for years already installed, replaced it but when it died because the alternator was bad basically refused to help & left my Range Rover wide open. 99% of my experience was good with Hamner for towing but for batteries... find anyone else or do it yourself if you have time. Save yourself the headache and avoid this place. Called AAA for a tow when my car wouldn't start. The tow driver, who also works at this auto shop recommended I bring it there. They diagnosed it as a failed fuel pump and said they'd get the part in a day. The next day, I called for an update and was told the part was accidentally ordered for delivery in two days. Already frustrated because they promised a one-day turnaround. On the third day, I had to follow up again just to confirm the part arrived. Throughout this whole process, I was the one constantly calling them for updates even though they said they'd keep me posted. I called again in the afternoon only to hear my car still wouldn't start after replacing the fuel pump. They said another pump needed replacement. I don't understand why their first diagnostic didn't catch both issues from the start. Their excuse was, "When you fix one thing, another problem can show up." At this point, my car had been with them for three days and I no longer felt comfortable, as it felt like they were taking advantage of me. I had it towed to another shop that diagnosed it correctly, preordered the part just in case and fixed everything within a few hours. Don't waste your time or money here. read more

Absolutely terrible experience with Hamner Towing Inc. The driver Adam was rude and unprofessional. He agreed to a drop off change, but when we got there, he refused to place the car where requested and just dumped it at the entrance, blocking a shared driveway. This property has plenty of space and every other towing company I've used has had no issue placing the vehicle properly. His attitude and lack of basic courtesy were unacceptable. At first, I was extremely dissatisfied with the company because I was waiting for 2 1/2 hours from the time I placed the call w/ AAA and getting many different ETAs from other drivers who were " 20 minutes away" and from AAA. I was locked out of my car and far from home so as the time went by, and I kept getting different stories, with no ability to track the driver, I was very upset. At about 10:30 this morning a man named Thomas ( I REALLY hope that's his name as it's the one AAA gave me) showed up after just getting the call, and not only put my new car on a flatbed and gave me a 60 mile ride home where I had an extra key , but he was just such a kind and funny person and changed the trajectory of my day. The driver made sure my wife and I were safe while he got our car loaded on the flatbed. He explained about the Toyota dealership he took us to and gave us his estimate of the cost of repair. I had the most amazing experience with Hamner Towing last night! I contacted AAA for a flat on the E91fwy/71 at about 10:45pm and they quickly connected me with Hamner Towing. The lady on the phone told me they would be about 30-45min being that it was a Friday night and they were a bit busy. Next thing you know, their driver Angel pulled up right behind me literally 5minutes after. He parked his BIG Hamner Towing rig sticking out protecting my car from the approaching traffic and had the big emergency lights blinking. He greeted me with a much-needed smile, asked if I had a spare, and took care of me just as fast. This was my first time ever getting a flat on the freeway and Angel left me stress free.
