Horrible service today. They were extremely late. Sent a rookie driver that took way longer than it should have if he knew what he was doing. He DID NOT DISCLOSE THERE WOULD BE EXTRA CHARGES! He loaded up 37 miles 4 hours later, and then before he unchained, he said to pay another $312 (I had just paid 100 on the AAA app) He tells me you have to pay or I'll just take your vehicle to the impound, and then you can pay for that also. I have been a premier member for 12 years, and my tow should have been covered 100%. At the least, customers should have the opportunity to decline service based on the cost. I wasn't given the opportunity to make a choice. That is dishonest, or he is not properly trained. The driver Javier should stick to battery service. read more

I have to come on here to say what an awesome job this company did for my son's tow on 8/7/2023. He lost a wheel so it was a very difficult task to load my son's lifted truck. The tow driver was very skilled and helped get the truck on the truck and into our driveway. I didn't get the driver's name but I hope Hamner looks up this service call and gives the driver a raise! He used all the tricks in the book to get the truck into our driveway. Hamner tow is very skilled and very professional. I will definitely request them if I ever am in need of a tow in Riverside. Thank you so much Hamner & the tow truck driver with a pony tail My son is normally in Idaho and those tow trucks are useless. He had a flat one time in Idaho and those guys didn't even know where to put the jack on my son's sports car. So we know cars and we have had several tow requests. read more

I believe this is my first experience with Hamner towing, but my experience with Justin was a wonderful one, in spite of my anxiousness over my cars issues, he put my mind at ease. He performed all the necessary diagnostics and then provided great solutions and good advice for future issues i might experience. I hope next time i have car trouble while on the road, Justin or someone as nice and helpful shows up! Fantastic road side service! read more

Ray J. Was soooooo helpful.. I'm so grateful.. my car shut off at a main intersection & they came quick & before towing my car, Ray jumped it and also offered to check my oil which was completely empty then he offered to put oil in I bought some at the gas station across the street and he filled it up. My car would have been ruined I wouldn't have thought to check my oil since I'm not even due for an oil change yet.. the dispatch rep was so helpful also called me as soon as I hung up with AAA.. highly recommend them! read more

FAR and beyond the call of duty! TOM was amazing! We have a GT500 and I was so worried about any damage happening to it while getting it on the flatbed. The car is very low to the ground. Tom's a hero! Car was up on the flatbed and off with no damage! I can't say enough good things about this guy! Great customer service skills and treats cars like they were his own! Thank you for your 5* service! read more

Hamner Towing - Towing Near Me - Corona, California

I, unfortunately, had incurred multiple instances on my car. My car was towed 4 times this month. Each time, Hamner towing was dispatch to transport my car to and from the location. With each encounter, I had an amazing experience as everyone was respectable, compassionate and very knowledgeable. They made a very stressful situation a lot easier. Very happy with their service! read more

Just today I needed a tow and got connected thru AAA and someone I believe their name was Jay, had a dodgers tattoo, excellent person and very fun to talk to and made everything super simple and couldn't have asked for a more stress free interaction. Owner decided to respond.. Stop with the bullshit. I SAID in my review I understand I parked in the wrong spot. I'm TALKING ABOUT you trying to get customers for every penny. You're not changing my mind, and like I said I'm glad I never have to depend on You guys. Also if you guys are sharing your business info with these apartments how about you keep them updated on your fucking pricing? Paperwork I have when I moved in (6/20/20) says $255 initial tow $55 to store. YET I walked out paying $353. Make it make sense!!!! Don't come here!!! Give your business to towing yards that don't rip you off. read more

Had a tire blow out on the 91 and had to limp my truck to the exit to avoid being stuck (or struck) on the freeway. Called Hamner and they showed up in 30 minutes as promised. The technician, Justin, had great customer service even though it was the middle of the night and got me taken care of quickly. This is the second time I've had to use Hamner and they did not disappoint. Thanks, Hamner team! read more

I feel that the head mechanic is holding my truck hostage and I have no been able to get my truck back. They've had my truck for 6 days. And every time I talk to the guy, the price on my truck keeps going up. He has not returned my calls. I've been going to hammer towing for almost 10 years and I've never had this problem before. This guy has just taken over my truck and I won't give it back to me. That's what I feel I was there yesterday. The guy pretty much ignored me yesterday while I was there. read more

Just had my van towed to the mechanics. Hamner Towing has been a lifesaver several times over the 20+ years years. They are reliable and professional each and every time. Today Ray J towed my car. He did a great job, very professional and really went above and beyond to help me. You may have heard that a great mechanic is a good as gold. Ray J and Hamner Towing are in that same category when it comes to towing. I'd recommend them any day of the week and 2x on Sunday. If management is reading this do whatever you have to to keep Ray J on your staff. He not only knows his job extremely well he's probably the best goodwill ambassador you guys have. read more

I had my 69 chevelle towed today as the msd distributor went out. Adam showed up quickly on a holiday and was so careful with my baby putting it right in my garage. If I ever need a tow again I will be calling Adam at Hamner towing. read more

If your car ever happens to breakdown and you happen to call Hamner Towing for service, and then you see Ray J pull up in his truck, just know you will be taken care of. He's a really cool guy, but thats not all. He's very knowledgable and professional. He helped me get my Tesla onto his truck immaculately. He ensured to not cause any further damage to my car and even took the extra effort not to scrape a single thing. Simply marvelous. If you could ever judge a person, it would probably be how he maintains his space around him. RayJ keeps his truck incredibly clean and organized. I would know, I've been in a worse tow truck before. Management if you are reading this, RayJ is the best ambassador for your company. If I ever need a tow, RayJ convinced me to go with Hamner. Give this man a raise, immensely pleased how he took a bad situation (two flats on the side of the 91) and turned it into a good one. read more

Yesterday, you never know when your battery will not start, Karen is my name, I have a care giver her name is Karen, and Karen helps me, so we were getting labs drawn, get in the car and expecting it to start, it did not, so Triple A was called. we were told 45 min wait, it was 20 yeh . The next surprise we met the worker, his name was Robert. He was awesome, kind, caring and funny, and he had the knowledge to help women in distress. So 15 minutes later we were on our way. The reason I do so many yelps is this, we have lost the art of saying Thank you, does not cost you anything and means so much. I have had workers from different tow services back in the day, did not talk, did not laugh, did not show concern, and you just wanted them to leave and never see them again, Robert was not like that, he cared, he did his job well, we were satisfied, and I would recomend Hamner Towing 100 per cent. They are awesome. Tell some one Thank You to day, it makes them feel better, and you feel better as well. Again thank you Yelp Your appreciated. Karen Herrold, oh one more thing, the funny thing was he helped two Karen's and Karen's Husbands name was Robert. See you never know what the day holds. Thank You read more

Ray is the man! Got a tow of my bike to the dealer from home. Quick and easy - knew exactly how to tie down. Bike made it ~20 miles without a scratch! Pricing is extremely competitive. He isn't going to stall for time or anything either - Ray is honest, hard working, and does the job correctly. Highly recommend this place. Ask for Ray! read more

I hit a huge metal bolt on 91 east in Corona in my Charger and it blew out the tire. Circumstances were dangerous, where I had to pull over with trucks and all. Hamner Towing was there at lightning speed (less than 15 minutes to arrive), exhibited great expertise, and got a new tire on my car literally within 20 minutes. I missed my client appointment, but was able to make it home after such an ordeal safely and quickly. Also, the staff (ladies) at the front desk were very friendly. Jim Maupin was keeping me advised on timing and was knowledgeable and cordial. I could not have had a better outcome in what could have been a much more stressful situation. And... the tire pricing was competitive. read more

I called AAA at 8pm due to my car battery dying. Hamner Towing called to confirm and was stuck waiting for an hour and a half with no response. Called back and was told they will send someone else and nobody arrived til 10:30pm (Victor D). Due to 3 other technicians sitting around the office not doing anything we were unable to go to autozone because they closed at 10 and it was way past closing. Victor D was extremely helpful and went above and beyond to get us a new battery. Victor himself gets 5 stars! The company he works for not so much. Leaving people stranded in Corona for 2.5 hours at night while you are getting paid sitting around is unacceptable. read more

Had a good experience there looking at cars with Mark and Jason. Especially want to put a good word out for Mark who spent a lot of his time standing in the hot sun while my buddy and I checked out the vehicles that were for sale. He was very patient and accommodating and even had a mechanic come out and run a test on a truck to see why the check engine light was on so that I could determine what needed to be done with the truck in case I bought it. After I did buy it, he even fixed the slow leak in one of the tires for free by putting a patch on it. Thanks JC read more

So due to unfortunate circumstances, one of our vehicles ended up at an impound lot without a key and we needed the vehicle towed to the local Nissan dealership there in Corona to have a key made. I must have run over something just before getting on to the Eastbound 91 On Ramp at Serfas Club Drive in Corona when my car suddenly felt sluggish and the tire pressure warning light came on. I immediately pulled to the far right of the well-designed emergency area there. The tough part was getting through to AAA. They were good but not in California and with more questions than assuring answers. The easy part was dealing with Hamner Towing. They called me back while I was still waiting on hold with AAA. "Robert" arrived in about 15 minutes and parked his BIG Hamner Towing rig sticking out protecting my car from the approaching traffic and had the big emergency lights blinking. He greeted me with a much-needed smile, asked if I had a spare, and put it on almost as quickly. When I asked if he could follow me to the next freeway off ramp (Lincoln) he said "no problem". Then he stuck his big rig out to protect my wife and me as we both gained speed onto the 91 for the short drive. Quick and efficient service all with a positive attitude, assurance, and great smile. Just what I needed after having my first flat in nearly 40 years. These guys (and particularly Robert) are good. read more

I wish I'd of taken pictures. Bought a 2012 Chevy Avalanche 5 days ago from Catalano motors, broke down first trip out on the side of the freeway. They sent these guys to come tow the truck. I had to call and let their owner know. Me and my dog and so Greatful you guys saved us! I appreciate all you did for us. read more

Broke down in the road right off the freeway, middle of July, called AAA and got a text with a quote for an hour, sucks but definitely could be worse at least it was cloudy outside. Not even six minutes later sweetest man, Mark, rolls up with a smile and a nod of reassurance, lets me know it's no big deal we will have the car up on the lift in no time. Shit day finally takes a turn for the better and then this kind man offers the comfort of his spotless, air conditioned soft seat truck cab to wait while he takes care of business. 10/10 would recommend, hope everyone gets a MARK to help them out when it feels like everything's falling apart. read more
