I don't normally leave reviews unless I've had exceptional service and reasons to leave one. Today was one of those days. I was in a car accident on the freeway where my car was basically totaled. Well Darryl from Circle City Towing stopped to pick me up. I was hazy and disoriented from the accident and Darryl made me feel much better by talking to me and treating me kindly, and patiently. He went above and beyond for me, as I didn't even know what I was going to do or where I was going after my car was towed. So he suggested the hospital and even took me there to a nearby hospital. It worked out perfectly for me in more ways then one. He assisted me with getting items I wanted to get out of my car, and was just so courteous and respectful. I have not experienced customer service like this in forever. God bless this man, and this company for being a place of values and integrity. I hope they keep Darryl around for a while and take good care of him. I would use this company again if I ever find myself in the situation where I'd need to. We had a vehicle stolen & then recovered by Corona PD. The PD called Circle City Towing to collect the truck. We were notified & the truck was picked up the same day by the body shop. Circle City invoiced the body shop whom paid the invoice. Then Craig with Circle City filed a fraudulent Lien Sale notice with DMV. We filed a declaration of opposition with DMV and a year later were notified he'd opposed it which caused ALOT of unnecessary footwork between the body shop, our records, insurance records and proving to DMV that Circle City was paid promptly. Dont use this business if you want honesty, professional behavior or reliability. They are argumentative, rude & dishonest. read more

I would never use this company for a tow. My front bumper cover was torn off in a accident but in one piece and hanging on the left side by one clip. My grandson told the tow truck driver to take it off by the one clip. The driver told him to watch and He would show him how to get it off and proceeded to run right over the top of the bumper cover and tore it off. Who knows what damage was done to the under carriage. Who knows what parts were salvageable. The car was in their tow yard for over a week because they would not take a check from Auto Club. Would never recommend this company. read more

If there was an option for zero stars I would. But I would not recommend using this tow company or if you end up getting your car impounded by Corona PD request another tow company. My truck was impounded by Corona PD on Saturday 08/24/2020 and PD had Circle City Towing pick up my truck. I got my police release on Monday afternoon and noticed I was missing one center cap from one of my rims covering the lug nuts. I called Circle City Tow and a woman answered seemed to be an operator I explained to here the situation. She then transferred me to an employee from the tow yard his name was (Alex) I repeated my information to him politely. He right away raises his voice at me and stated "you really calling because you think we took your freaking center cap" I responded well I mean when it got impounded it had all four center caps" he cut me off as I was saying that and told me "well you know what if you have a problem go report it to Corona PD, BYE!!!" and hung up. Didn't let me talk I called back the lady just to get his name she told me (Alex) I will be going to Corona PD at least to let them know who they got working for them. Because I know for a fact that center cap is gone. With that kind of customer service I really don't know how they are running a business. This is more about one tow truck driver. We were at the intersection of Magnolia and El Sobrante. The driver was turning left and unable to clear the intersection due to traffic wanting to turn up Rimpau. Rather than turning out one more lane to clear the intersection, the driver blocked it, so that I was unable to turn left down El Sobrante, I honked at him to get him out of the intersection and he threw his arms up and was rudely gesturing like the fact that he was blocking an intersection is our problem. This happened about 1:15 this afternoon. read more

This place is absolutely terrible. Our vehicle was impounded and brought to their location. We picked it up and payed for the invoice and they sent it out to the dmv as we never paid the invoice and now the dmv sent us a letter "to hold a lien sale" on this car which they don't have anymore since last year. Got a call from "Craig" and basically told me that it was their mistake but that I would have to call THEIR lien guy and solve it with him. So basically they make an error and won't follow up with this so I have to take time out of my day to fix their mistake. This is not ok and extremely unprofessional. Their lien guy "dave" asked if I was sure the letter was from the dmv as if I was wrong and said not to do anything but the paperwork from the dmv clearly states "must complete and sign the declaration of opposition". They make a mistake and want us to fix it. If I could give them 0 stars I would. Have no idea how this is an OPG and will be filling a complaint with the BBB as well. read more

On 5/14/21 I was traveling south bound on the 15 freeway about 1-2pm and noticed a Circle City flat bed truck towing a tan Toyota Tacoma on it. What caused my concern was it was traveling in and out of the #1 and #2 lanes and tailgating car between (I'm estimating) 70 and 80 MPH. If one of those cars ahead of him (which were also bunched up together) would have had to stop hard not only would there have been a bad wreck there my have been several. I believe the license is 24179X2? Driving around in a yellow tow rig with the name of the company plastered all over it can't be to smart. I would hope in the future the driver would ask what their job it worth, and the amount on money it would take to settle a lawsuit after the damage a truck like that traveling at high speed and tailgating other cars could have caused. read more

The only reason this place has any stars from me is because Gina and Raymond are absolutely a godsend. The owner is nothing but a crook. My truck was in an accident while I was out of town last Sunday. Obviously I was not the driver. Come to find out the ball joint had broken so it was no fault of anyone's other than the truck being old. We did not ask for a tow truck ourselves and not sure who called for a tow truck in the first place. It took me a couple days to get through to insurance and then get home from out of town yesterday. The accident happened six days prior on Sunday. I called the police department to find out where my to my truck was and they did not know and gave me three tow truck numbers. It turns out, very unfortunate for me, my truck was at this one. I called and spoke with Gina and she told me the cost was $660 for the tow, storage, and LEIN!!! I told her my situation, (not to mention that my daughter had also just been diagnosed with breast cancer at 26 years old and just wanted to completely lose it, but I did not mention that to anyone). Gina told me to give the owner Craig a call and he would probably be able to reduce the amount. I waited the afternoon for Craig to call me back to no avail. I called Gina again and she told me he would call me back in a couple minutes. 20 minutes later he did call and I asked if he could reduce the cost. He said everything was contractual and he wouldn't. Not only did he have zero compassion for any of the situation but he also said if I was not there by five, which was an hour from the time we were speaking on the phone and I was already over an hour away, that it was another $115 to "open the gate after they were closed"; in addition to more storage fees. Had he returned my call two hours before, time would not have been an issue. A note to the owner, I understand you are a business owner and need to make money. I pray that God will grace you with the gift of decernment. A little grace and compassion in your life will go a long way! A friend needed to tow her car to a body shop and the police called out Hamner Towing. They quoted her a price just over $200 to go a few miles. I told her to call Circle City and they towed her for less than half that price. They were quick, kind and courteous which my friend appreciated. My friend was in a motorcycle accident. Even though the accident was close to his home, and the bike could have easily been walked home, the policeman claimed his motorcycle needed to be towed because apparently it was leaking gas. I go with my friend to Circle City Towing to pick up his bike and load it to his pick up truck. First, this company did not have anyone on site to assist customers who want to pick up their vehicle, you have to call and wait for a convenient time for a tow truck driver to come back to their site so you can pick up your vehicle. Second, when the tow truck driver finally did arrive on site and my friend paid for the tow, the driver got on his motorcycle and rode it out front. How can you ride a motorcycle that's supposedly leaking gas? That makes me suspicious about how this company obtains business. Once the tow was paid for and the motorcycle was brought up front, we weren't able to load the bike onto the truck, and its apparently against company policy for the tow truck driver to help lift it onto the truck. So we asked if we could leave the bike there a little longer while we go rent a hitch to load the bike on, the tow truck drivers words were "You paid for it, its your problem now". I don't understand how a company could provide such rude service for someone who simply paid for their towing and wanted to take their vehicle home. I could understand if their was an argument that took place, but this type of service is not justifiable. read more

Warning: this tow yard will steal your key fob and then try to say the police stole it or accuse you of never handing it over to begin with. There is no way to move my car without the key fob, and my car was in their tow yard, up against a wall with two other cars in front of it with the front wheels turned. How else did they start my car to park it and turn the wheels? They gave me the key to my car without the fob because they stole it and sold it already, which is why it was nowhere to be found. So not only did I have to pay for the impound, I'm out whatever it's going to cost me to get my car a new fob and my car re-chipped, all because these guys (and their driver Chris that towed my car and whom I believe has the fob or sold it) wanted to make some extra cash. Be warned- if your car sits in this impound lot, you risk your car being stolen or worse. read more

I feel bad that I cant remember his name but the guy who towed my car from Anaheim Hills to Corona today was really cool and friendly. I lost my only key so i had to get a tow to the dealer and when the driver (i really wish i could remember his name) got there to pick up my car he was really good at making light of a not so great situation which is a big deal to me considering i was in a pretty bad mood. Circle City Towing - Towing Near Me - Corona, California

Follow up from my 9/9/13 review. I contacted the DMV Lien department on Sept. 11 and the DMV Lien department contacted Circle City Towing about the issue. The DMV asked that they fax them a letter stating that the fees were paid and the lien should have been removed. The DMV informed me to call them on Sept 13 as they should have the fax by that time and will have removed the lien. On the morning of Sept 13 I received a call from the owner of Circle City Towing in response to the posting that I had posted on Yelp about his company. The owner then preceded to tell me if I would be willing to remove the negative post on Yelp he would fax the letter to the DMV so they could remove the lien. I took this suggestion as a demand and blackmail.. I hung up the phone and contacted the DMV lien department and informed them of our conversation. This time Carol (I believe this was her name) called Circle City Towing but wasn't able to reach the owner. Carol called me later that day around 4 p.m to inform me that she hasn't received a call back from Circle City Towing but was going to remove the Lien anyways. The DMV Lien department number is 916-657-7617 the information I provided can be verified. The owner of Circle City Towing claims this was all a misunderstanding. This was no misunderstanding this was all caused by him not willing to take responsibility and fix the problem. Again steer clear of this company as I wouldn't trust any company with this kind of business practice especially if it is from the owner. It's time owners realize we are living in the digital information age and if they don't treat customers with respect then they can expect the information to be put on the Web. read more
