Even though I didn't use these guys to repair my device because the issue was unrepairable, they were returned my call in a timely manner and explained what my options were. They are very professional, responsive and reliable. read more

They helped me fix the ice maker and the fan of my fridge. Very helpful and responsive. Thank you so much for your service!

Wow, what a pleasant and uncomplicated experience -- so unlike the other companies we called before we contacted Precision. We chose them not because they were recommended by the manufacturer or the store but because of the excellent Yelp reviews. Which turns out to be a better way to find someone to fix your oven (a Frigidaire, if you're interested). The people we talked to on the phone were professional and pleasant. Same for the technician who was punctual and worked quickly. The price was the same as the one they told me over the phone. Very highly recommended. read more

They came buy to replace a faulty part in my oven. Fanstastic service: very professional, on time, and knowledgeable. Will definitely use them again! read more

These guys are the best and I highly recommend them. I had a Bosch oven that recently died and Brian sent a tech out to check it out. Although it was an electronic issue that couldn't be fixed (parts no longer being made), he continued to look for other solutions including calling his distributor for replacement ovens of the similar size. Super responsive via SMS or voicemail. Reasonable rates as well. Hopefully my other appliances have many many years in them still but if anything were to go wrong, I'd call them for sure! read more

I was having issues with my Samsung washer and searched reviews on Yelp. Found Precision and got in touch with Eddie on the first call. I had Google'd my issue and found out it could be one of three things (suspension rods, drain pump, etc) all of which I thought was going to take weeks and be expensive. As a person who is slightly wary of service work from being burned in the past, I was amazed that they fixed it with no new parts or anything. It wasn't anything that I researched and just an adjustment. Took 30 minutes to fix. I only write reviews when the service is exceptional and this is the case. I would recommend this company to anybody. Well run, honest and will not charge you for anything that doesn't need to be fixed. 10 out of 10. read more

Quick Service! I called for our Electrolux oven not heating on Wednesday and they had a tech at my home the next day. The tech (John) came prepare with the needed part and the oven was backing working within an hour. Very professional. read more

Update: Eddie and John called me the same day and addressed all of my concerns! Eddie is truly an honest man. As I promised I give them 5 stars for doing an outstanding job on really listening to the feedback and respecting their clients. Thank you! read more

My freezer is fixed thanks to Eddie! I called Precision Appliance because my ice maker wasn't working. He discovered that my freezer's fan was the source of the problem and fixed it. I now have a freezer that is the proper temperature and an ice maker that works! Eddie was thoughtful and thorough in all of his interactions with me. He explained my options and associated costs at each step of the process. He scheduled appointments in the early morning to accommodate my busy schedule. I highly recommend Precision Appliance. read more

I thought the all 5 star rating was too good to be true but they really are that good. I called on Monday about an oven issue and a dishwasher issue. By Wednesday a tech was at my house wrestling the dishwasher out of the cabinetry where it had been glued (??) and replacing the oven part that burned out. I'm thrilled with how quick and professional this service was, and I feel like prices were reasonable too. 10/10 would call again! Thanks! read more

I haven't had much luck with appliances, so I've had several different repair companies come out in the past few years. Eddie was by far the best repairman. He's really easy to work with - he listened to my explanation of the issue over the phone and gave me an idea what to expect. He was there right on time, checked things out, and walked me through the options. My repair was covered by Chase's extended protection, so he even talked to them to confirm the details so I'd be reimbursed. He went way above and beyond working with my crazy schedule. Eddie was really nice and incredibly helpful. Sears sent people several times and just kept replacing the same parts. Eddie took the time to figure out what was actually causing the problem and solved it in one try. I'd recommend him without hesitation. read more

Our washing machine broke over the weekend. (I have two dirty kids under the age of five - this is one of my nightmares.) I got the names of five or six repair services from the manufacturer. One didn't have availability until the week after (see previous statement RE: nightmare); another wanted to charge me for an assessment visit, THEN order the part, and charge me again for the repair (which would have required an extra visit to my home during COVID); another didn't service our Brooklyn neighborhood because it's street parking only. Precision returned my call promptly, had me text them a photo of the broken latch (the broken part was clearly visible), ordered the part, and had it in stock and installed the next day! As a bonus, the technician was as nice and friendly as he could be, and wore his mask the right way the entire time he was in my home. He told me they do all kinds of appliance repairs (just not HVAC). I have them saved in my phone and would definitely use them again! read more

Be aware that if you do end up having to get a new appliance, these guys do not install it for you. You will have to end up paying the service call fee (which is relatively very high compared to other companies) + new appliance + installation fee + haul away fee. We were quoted a high amount to replace some parts of our dishwasher, and decided that it would be better to get a new dishwasher. When Eddie said the cost of the service call can be put towards the repairs, we naturally assumed that it would include installing as well. But nope, they don't do installations. We ended up paying a lot more than we expected to. read more

We had a wonderful experience with Eddie. He is professional, very thorough and just a pleasure to work with. He even came back on his own time when our repair didn't work out according to plan and fixed it. We would definitely call Eddie again for repairs in our home. Highly recommend! read more

Knowledgable and professional, although hard to reach them.

This is what one hopes for from a repairman- on time, quick, professional, knowledgeable and neat. Eddie repaired my fan motor in the fridge but then decided he didn't like the look of the door and readjusted it. He also took extra time to fix a damaged door seal. Highly recommended. read more

We just had our washing machine fixed by Eddie. The two appointments were made promptly, the time frames scheduled were accurate, and the price was exactly what he said it would be. Polite and hard working - I highly recommend him! read more

Really kind, responsive, professional, and honest. I've called to have things fixed before and they actually talked me to my warranty to that I could have a repair for free. I highly recommend! read more

I highly recommend Eddie. I had him come over to look at a problem I was having with my washing machine, and to disable the very loud buzzer on my dryer. He told me that the cost of fixing the washing machin!e (parts and labor) would be the same as it would be to buy a new one. I appreciated his honesty regarding this. He was able to quickly disable the buzzer on my dryer, so now I can dry clothes while my daughter is napping. Thanks, Eddie read more

I start by saying the 1 star is not based on their ability to fix my issue, but rather my terrible customer service experience. Precision appliance was able to fix the issue with my washing machine door latch and do so within the quoted price, however I had terrible experiences over the phone with Eddie when trying to get a breakdown of the cost. After getting a $275 quote to replace the latch on the door I expected it to be an involved repair since the part was only $40. The repair took only 10 minutes so I asked for more information about the other $235 in the cost. John, who did the repair responded, "If you wanted something cheaper why didn't you call someone else?" and told me to follow up with Eddie. I reached out to Eddie for a breakdown of the price and he initially seemed concerned about the response from John, however, that quickly changed. He proceeded to tell me that the $300 for this repair was just a "blip" on his company's radar and that I should be thanking him for what he was able to do for me. Keep in mind my initial text and first words to him were "thank you for having John repair this so quickly." I continued clarifying that I just wanted a breakdown of what the $275 charge was based on (labor?parts?diagnostic? etc) but he responded by saying "Well, how about I just come back over to your house, take the part out of your machine and give you your money back?" This seemed like a pretty aggressive way to respond to simply asking for clarity on where my money was going. After 20 minutes on the phone he finally clarified the breakdown of the charges and I explained that that was all I was asking for in the first place. If he had simply given the breakdown to begin with rather than lectured me about how I should be more grateful and threatened to return to my house this would've been a non-issue. read more

These guys are super great! They came about a month ago to fix my washing machine (apperently a very common issue for LG machines) fixed it perfectly, but when it broke again a month later they came immediately on a very steep discount to make sure it wouldn't happen again. To top it off, these guys are are super trustworthy gourmets and know all the best sandwich shops in South Brooklyn. Be sure to ask them where to eat. read more

EXCELLENT SERVICE !! my washing machine needed to be repaired and Eddy was so wonderful ! Reasonably priced, professional and he was on time and now my machine runs like new. So happy I choose then for my repair and I will be sure to use them in the future and recommend them to everyone, because it's not everyday you find a repair shop that's honest and does such a great job. Thanks again !!! read more

Professional staff, knowledgeable and friendly. Eddie and Matt were prompt, and efficient. Eddie asked me to tell him what was the problem with my stove, you could tell he wanted to know the whole story so he could figure out what was wrong. He even took the time to explain how everything works, the mechanics of the pipes/oven, and to tell the difference between oven & gas smells. After inspection Eddie quoted a price to fix the igniter which was more than I expected but it was still a fair price for the work that needed to be done (and after researching for other quotes in the area, it was a good deal). Both guys make a great team. And now my oven works perfectly and it's totally worth the money. (They even offer coupons for service on their website, which I totally forgot to use...so check them out!) I would definitely call them again. read more

My fridge busted. I checked Yelp, and these guys were recommended. I called - and Eddie answered right away. He came the next day, diagnosed the issue and gave me a 'tactical' fix which got the fridge working again, while he ordered a part. He also diagnosed a longstanding issue with the fridge, that I never knew the cause of. As soon as the part arrived - Eddie was back, and the fridge is in good working order. He's friendly, knowledgeable. A pro in every sense of the word. A++ read more

They came to assess a problem with our range. I was impressed about how thorough, careful and knowledgeable they were.

Great service and absolutely professional. They fixed my LG dryer and will be calling them back for my oven.

Can you give someone 20 stars when they actually never even came to repair something? I would give them to PAS. My Miele dryer stopped drying clothes. It was running and blowing cold. Mystery to me, figured the element must be shot. Called PAS to make an appointment. He recommended resetting the breaker, that sometimes the element can cause a partial throw of the breaker on a 208/220 line, and resetting it will do the trick Pulled out the unit, rest the breaker, and...BAM!! Blowing hot again!!! Free of charge (pun intended) Any guy honest enough to save you the cost of a visit, and the usual "it's the flux capacitor" $299 bill -just enough usually to make it not worth replacing the unit when nothing is wrong with it - is a guy worth calling when something IS wrong. 20 Stars!!!!! Great guy(s)!! will get 1000% of my business in the future! read more

Beyond excellent service. Very friendly, extremely knowledgeable and fairly priced service. Turned a bad situation into a wonderful experience all around.... I Highly, highly recommend John. In summary, don't waste your time looking anywhere else. read more

I'm an office manager and was having issues with the dishwasher in my office. I found Eddie's company on here and gave him a call. He unfortunately didn't work in my area of Manhattan, but he suggested I Facetime him and show him under my sink to see where the problem was. Rarely do you find someone so genuinely helpful and patient. Now my dishwasher works and I have a new favorite appliance service company. Thanks, Eddie! read more

Have used John at Precision appliance for issues with washer, dryer and dishwasher. In each instance, he was able to quickly identify the issue and get it repaired or be honest and recommend looking for a new appliance rather than spending the money it would take to repair an old one. He's also quick to respond and follow up to get the job done quickly and at a fair price. Definitely recommend. read more

This is my first experience with PAS. We called to make an appointment to service our fridge because it's making grinding noises. Its a very expensive fridge and I'd rather service it early than wait until something breaks and I have to replace the whole thing. Well, John was on the phone with my husband for 15 minutes, talking him through all kinds of self-fix possibilities. After they decided that we could not fix it ourselves and it really needed a professional to look at it, THEN he made the appointment for us. That, right there, is fantastic customer service. read more

My dryer stopped working. I wrote to Edward late last night, he wrote back by the time I woke up asking for more info. I called him and he troubleshot the problem and helped me figure a work around of the problem free of charge. He could have scheduled and appointment, overcharged me and I wouldn't have known the difference. Nice to know there are helpful people out there who aren't just interested in making a quick buck. If it ever really breaks, I will definitely call this guy. read more
