Eli is extremely trustworthy and easy to communicate with. He did a great job fixing my Liebherr fridge and freezer. Highly recommend.

Eli fixed our Bosch washing machine. He was prompt, knowledgeable, and professional. Price quoted was price paid, and diagnostic fee was applied toward total cost. Repair comes with a 3 month warranty on parts and labor for peace of mind. Highly recommend! read more

Highly recommend Eli for washer diagnosis and repair. He was friendly, on time, professional, and very prompt with communication. He patiently explained everything, gave honest suggestions, and took direction well throughout the process. Smooth and stress-free experience overall. read more

Very responsive and polite. They were able to provide the insurance documents the building required and fixed the problem right away.

Fridge started making this weird clicking sound right as I was putting away the milk yesterday. Checked the thermostat but nothing seemed to help, and then the cooling just stopped entirely. Technician showed up and immediately got to work on the back panel while the dog kept trying to sniff his tool bag. Glad the kitchen floor didn't end up covered in melted ice before he got the compressor running again. read more

Eli came to fix my bosch 500 washing machine. He arrived at the time that he said he would. He provided the COI for my building as soon as we made the appointment. He figured out and fixed the flooding problem within a very short period of time and charged me what I felt was a very reasonable price for the job done. He also pointed out some maintenance that I could do on the washer and dryer to help keep them running for a long time to come. This apt is full of appliances that will need repair at some point and Eli has a customer for life. I am so glad to have found him. read more

Excellent experience! Eli was easy to communicate with, came on time, and fixed my Bosch Axxis dryer in 15 minutes! He was friendly and explained the problem very clearly. The pricing was also reasonable. I strongly recommend his service! read more

Very professional. There was a broken part in my Miele dishwasher and Eli anticipated the problem and already had the part with him! The repair took 10 minutes! read more

Our 10-year old LG washer gave out yesterday and I began an internet search for a repair service. Of the 3 servicers I called, Eli was the only one who: (i) asked what error code was showing (and knew what it meant), (ii) asked the model number of the machine, (iii) confirmed he had the part available, and (iv) gave me a firm (and I think fair) price. Plus, entirely on his own, he asked about building insurance requirements (I had forgotten I need them) and was able to produce a certificate of insurance within hours of my calling him! He then showed up today, on time (he gave a 2-hour window, but also provided an advance phone call when he was about 20 minutes away), and fixed our washer promptly and with good humor. He also tolerated my curiosity in watching his repair and explained what was wrong and showed me the broken part. If I could give 10 stars I would. This was about as excellent a repair service experience as I could have hoped for. I wouldn't hesitate to use him again (and for other appliances also) read more

Terrific experience. My Bosch Axxis washer would not drain and Eli was able to come same day. He was very professional and communication was easy via Yelp and texting. He got me the COI quickly and called prior to arrival as arranged and came during the agreed upon appointment time. He was able to complete the repair quickly and also took care of changing the moldy gasket, which I had been wanting to do for some time but never wanted to deal with it. Everything was smooth and the washer is working great now. Eli was very clean, took his shoes off and removed all the materials. I would definitely use him again for future repairs on all my appliances. read more

Professional, prompt service with great communication. Fixed my oven appliance next day. Highly recommend.

I dread dealing with contractors. This was a perfect experience. Eli was brilliant!!!! Same day repair. Great guy. Punctual. Solved the problem. Honest and very fair pricing. Wanted to tell the world! Thanks Eli read more

Knowledgable and quick! They were able to send out a repair person within three days of my request. Eli was super quick to find the issue with my Bosch dryer and replace a broken part in 30 minutes. He gave me advice on how to avoid it breaking in the future. He was even kind enough to ask if I had any other issues with my other appliances. I mentioned something in my fridge that he quickly solved at no extra cost. Would work with this team again any day! read more

The dishwasher broke in my rental unit. They were able to come out next day and the following day the problem was fixed. They also communicated with my tenants to find a time that worked for them. I really appreciated how quick and easy they made the whole process for me and my tenant. I also feel they were very honest about the advice they gave me when talking about if it was best to fix the issue versus replace the dishwasher. I would 100% use them again. read more

I needed a dishwasher and an oven fixed. Ely did a great job, fixed them both in under an hour. I recommend.

From start to finish Ely was GREAT. I called to make an appointment and provided him the details of the Oven (Serial Number) and what was occurring (was not heating up). We agreed on a date and time and he called about 1 hour before his arrival to reconfirm the appointment and said he would be the there in a little over an hour... and he WAS!!! He was very professional. Neatly attired, walked into the apartment, and immediately took his shoes off to avoid tracking anything on the floors!! He confirmed the problem and said that he had the replacement ignitor unit with him. Cost would be $340 plus tax for the part and labor. In about 20 minutes everything was done and the oven was tested and it heated right up. He told me that the ignitors only last about 9 years (I've been fortunate as the stove is 20+ years old -- but then the oven isn't used too much.) He then asked if there was any other appliance that I wanted him to look at -- and there was -- I'd been unable to get the water filter out of the refrigerator (so I could replace it). He looked at it and in 2 minutes was able to fix the the problem and showed me how to do it in the future if I should have a problem again. Ely is pleasant and polite and very professional and knowledgeable. I highly recommend him and Residential Appliance Services. (Oh and they were very quick to provide the management office of my coop a Certificate of Insurance once the appointment was made and before they arrived - a mandatory requirement and they did it without any issues) read more

Eli is awesome! Amazingly quick response to my inquiry and came the next day to take a look at my dishwasher. I need to get a new one but he patiently explained the exact issue and costed out a new one vs a repair. This is the sort of person you can trust. read more

Responsive, caring and super efficient! I called Residential Appliance Services on Tuesday to come repair my washer door boot from the rubber shredding and Eli came on the same day! I was impatient and ordered the part myself and ended up being the wrong one so he had to come back after he ordered it himself. It only took ONE day for him to receive it and he returned promptly this morning and fixed it immediately! He even showed us how to remove the filter to clean it for maintaining it so it doesn't happen again! I am going to recommend Residential Appliance Services to everyone in my building! read more

They sent someone in August to come look at my viking range and weren't able to fix it - they said they needed parts but it was backordered until October. I paid them for the service call and was told they would contact me when they had it back in stock, but they've since went completely radio silent on me and have not responded to my calls or messages. See the picture of the message chain for yourself. Complete waste of time and money. There are plenty of other repair services - stay away from this one. read more

A broken appliance is one of the most stressful things available. My Bosch dryer broke and I called bosch. They were not very helpful and repairs could be very costly. I checked around a few places and these guys were the most transparent, responsive and knowledgeable. They were able to do same day appointments, had COIs ready, and were very polite. Eli came on time, took of shoes, cleaned up after his work. Replaced my drain pump quickly. I was worried that maybe it'll break again later but he assured me that if anything happens in next few months, it's covered under their warranty and they'll come back to fix it. I mean wow! I hope no other appliances break again but if it does, I know who to call. Do yourself a favor and reach out to these guys for any of your needs! read more

Great company. I called them over to service my Summit oven and they spent 20-30 minutes trying to figure out the issue. He determined that I needed to call the actual company itself and did not charge me. Honest people - would recommend for sure. read more

Amazing. Arrived on time and spent over an hour trying to fix my refrigerator. He could not repair it - not his fault - it is a built in and has to be done from the back, a much bigger job. He tried...A LOT! But just not possible. As a result, he did not charge me. Eli was extremely professional and polite and kept me posted on what he was doing, why, and why it could not be fixed. I was so impressed and will definitely use him if I ever need a repair again. read more

Residential Appliance was brilliant. I had just gotten my dryer repaired when my washing machine's motor gave out. I was at my wits end and decided to turn to Yelp. I'm so glad I did. RAS not only messaged me straight away, but I had an appointment for the following morning (this was pure luck I'm sure). The technician sent for the repair was prompt, courteous, super knowledgeable, and he had the part I needed for the repair. An hour later my washing machine was fixed and I am beyond relieved at how easy the whole experience was from start to finish. Highly recommend. read more

Unparalleled professionalism. Eli came over to look at our broken Bosch dishwasher. He was extremely up front about pricing, did his work quickly, and maintained a level of friendliness that I find uncommon in New York. After two visits (diagnostic + trial replacement of two potentially malfunctioning parts), it was unfortunately determined that the cost of the necessary repair would've approached that of a new dishwasher, so Eli simply advised us to replace the machine. He gave us some great input on recommended brands and also encouraged us to call him if we had any followup questions. He only charged us the $75 diagnostic fee despite making two visits and ordering two replacement parts on our behalf. I should also add that I had to reschedule Eli's second visit at the last minute and he was extremely accommodating and kind about it. I lived in Japan for several years and this was the very first time I've experienced Japanese-level courtesy and professionalism since moving back to the United States. I cannot recommend Eli enough. read more

Upon requesting a quote, the owner without asking any flat rate ( that's what repair usually do to me) asked my very old Bosch model and the problem. He gave me a link saying the parts are not available. And told me what to do next without charging me anything . Thank you very much such a warm helpful person read more

My Bosch Dryer stopped producing heat, leaving my wash damp and smelly (the joys of dog ownership). Eli took time to understand the problem over the telephone and make a same-day appointment, coming by even earlier (after confirming my availability) when another client cancelled. Eli was to-the-minute prompt, arriving exactly at the start of the appointment time he quoted and not only fixing the issue, but also doing some cleaning of a device so wedged into its closet I was worried he might have to take a door off it's hinge to do the repair. Really superb service. I had a working dryer in ~40 minutes and an honest assessment about next steps regarding how long the repairs might last before the appliance would need to be replaced (rather than incurring more costly servicing). Highly recommend! read more
