I've had John to my apartment twice in the last few years for both my washer and my dryer. Excellent communication and punctuality both times. But most importantly, incredible knowledge and experience. Quickly diagnosed the issues both times, repaired them, and also EDUCATED me on how to clean and take care of my appliances regularly to keep additional problems at bay. Highly recommend!! read more

Precision has helped me with several appliance issues with excellent results. They are very responsive, efficient and knowledgable. Pricing is transparent and reasonable. Highly recommended. read more

I had them come to tell me whether a washer/dryer I inherited from the prior owner of my apartment was good to use. They showed up on time, were competent, explained everything that needed fixing in order to use it but didn't push about doing that and told me that if I eventually decided to do the work the charge for their evaluation would be deducted. Their charge for the visit was very reasonable. They were very pleasant as well. read more

John from Precision Appliance was spectacular: knowledgeable, helpful and delightful to deal with. He asked for photos and video that let him troubleshoot our problem. We have never been happier with a repair service. read more

Everyone we have worked with at Precision Appliance provided fast, reliable service. They have consistently gone above and beyond for us over the past few years for both in-home repairs and troubleshooting over the phone. We've always found their quotes and pricing to be fair. Highly recommend. read more

Punctual reliable service but watch their quotes and get it in writing itemized. $625.00 for Bosch Diagnosis- thermal limiter switch tripped due to excessive build up of dog hair and lint. Replaced switch. Inexpensive part. Represented initial diagnostic visit of$250.00 would be deducted from bill but added high labor cost at the end. read more

It's honestly rare and very refreshing to have such a good experience coupled with such a quick turnaround - I contacted them via their website on Sunday about a broken icemaker in our Miele refrigerator and they had a COI ready for my building by noon Monday, and a fantastic tech (Vito) at our home by 4:30pm the same day. He was friendly, very knowledgeable and was able to fix the problem quickly while explaining exactly what we needed to know. Even good with the dogs! Price was great especially given the turnaround time. They are based in Brooklyn but techs are in Manhattan multiple days a week and it worked out perfectly here. There is clearly a reason for their 5 star ratings here, highly recommended. read more

John came to repair our 14yo Wolf range and did a totally professional job... explaining what needed to be done and also advising on proper maintenance and care of several other appliances. read more

Terrific customer service everything was handled that was requested. Thank you to Evan and John it was greatly appreciated.

I've used this service for three different appliances. In all three cases I was provided clear pricing, honest advice, and the technician was courteous and on time for the appointments. The work was performed carefully and I was fully satisfied. I will gladly call again next time I need service. read more

We had a great experience working with the Precision Appliance team (Gregory and John). They are polite, punctual, efficient and professional. Gregory fixed our fridge door by installing a brand new replacement. We greatly appreciate their quality service and highly recommend them for your home appliances needs. read more

Washer / Dryer repair: I cannot recommend this service more highly. John was responsive and patient during an evening intake call, taking time to talk through the likely issues and a clear plan for addressing them. And then after looking at the photos I sent, he followed up later that same night with a suggested fix that immediately addressed the issue, saving me time and money. I was incredibly impressed with his thorough and honest approach. He will be my go-to for all appliance needs going forward. read more

John is rude and obnoxious; he is disrespectful and does not know how to treat customers - would give zero stars if it was an option - do not recommend read more

Consistent phenomenal service. Precision has helped me with both a refrigerator and dryer repair in the last year. They were able to quickly diagnose the issues and return within days for a second visit to replace necessary parts. Both members of the team that I met were highly knowledgeable, and the communication and punctuality has always been great. Highly recommend! read more

The absolutel best! John serviceed our BOSCH dishwasher and our Liebherr Fridge and we are very pleased with our experience

Fast, convenient, and professional. Frank cleaned the back of the refrigerator which was a mess, figured out the problem, explained the options, and replaced the compressor, all under I think an hour. He was polite too, and just focused on the work. read more

Precision does it again! This is my second repair by them and just like the first time service was excellent. This time I called to the gas stove in my tenants apartment repaired. I followed the instructions and hung up to receive the link for the Service Inquiry Form and filled it out on my phone. I received a call back from John who was actually on his way home for the day but offered to stop by right away as he was just down the street. I explained what the gas company diagnosed and described the symptoms and John advised me that the gas company usually misdiagnoses the issue I described. He told me what the issue most likely was and the cost to repair it. John came over, checked out the stove and repaired it right on the spot...he saved me hundreds of dollars over replacing the stove as the gas company suggested. Thanks again Precision for saving the day and making my tenant feel safe again! read more

They got me back up and running. Fast and friendly service for refrigerator and stove. Fair price too.

Yea, This company is the real deal. I am an owner of a large HVAC company located in Long Island City so I know what excellent service is. From the moment I placed the service call to time I received a copy of my invoice, Precision Appliance are one of the most professional and courteous companies I have ever had the pleasure of doing business with. From one professional to another, Thank you!! Gregg R read more

Good service and professional. Easy to schedule. Came on time. Fixed the dryer. Very nice.

Precision appliance provided excellent and top notch service from beginning scheduling and end repair. I had to have my bosch dryer repaired and then a few weeks later my miele fridge repaired. Frank from precision was very professional and Vito the technician was really great as well. Highly rec their service. read more

I've used this service for many years on various appliances. They are consistently responsive, reliable, and fix the problem. My go to appliance repair guys in Brooklyn. read more

The service was excellent, professional, friendly and timely. Vito came when he said he would and had the oven fixed in under 15 minutes. My only issue is the price was sort of insane. It was almost 50% of the cost of a new oven to change the igniter. Not sure this is the value option among choice. Really good but you'll pay. read more

Vito provided great service. He replaced the rubber gasket on my front loader washing machine in 20 minutes. He works clean, leaving everything wiped down and tidy. He also gave me advice on how to keep the washer clean and free of mold and odors. The cost was competitive with other services. I would definitely recommend Precision Appliance Services. read more

I highly recommend Precision Appliance Services. We called the folks at Precision to look at our Kitchenaid dishwasher that we were having problems with. The 2 technicians came promptly and were very knowledgeable and polite. They listened to what we were experiencing and peeked inside while the machine was running. They knew immediately what the problem was and punched a code into the machine and ran a diagnostic. They told us how much it would cost to fix and we discussed the pros and cons of fixing vs buying a new one. There was no pressure to continue working with them for repair, purchase or installation. We were left very satisfied not only with their service, but with the feeling that we were dealing with a friendly family business that was not trying to squeeze us for a sale. We have recommended them to neighbors and friends and are keeping their information in our contact list (-: read more

The oven in my apartment had recurring issues, of not working. We had a different repair company come by earlier this year...they changed the starter once, but the repair failed in a few months. Revisited. Now conked out again. Based on user reviews, we called Precision. My tenant was very impressed by Precision's response time and knowledge. They provided a thorough analysis of the oven's history. The repair change was reasonable. I'm hoping this repair holds and will revise my review if anything changes. Crossing fingers! read more

fantastic service by Precision Appliance. Brian from the office is so friendly and really tries to fit in appointments around my work from home schedule. John has been the repair person who comes usually (I have older appliances). He came this week to fix my dryer, fixed within an hour and then Brian called a few days later to make sure the repair they did on the dryer was still working. several weeks ago I also called about a washing machine that was not working. John went as far as telling me I should replace it rather than repair it as the fix would be pretty expensive. So they don't just come and do repairs, they advise and their advice is spot on. I could not recommend them more highly for any appliance repair issues. read more

Amazing response time and thorough work! Very professional and clear on options for fixing our ice maker.

Honest guys! I called because my washer was putting brown streaks in my clean laundry and the person on phone told me to run the clean cycle a couple of times before they send someone out to check it and charge me! It worked I appreciate honest businesses like this Thank you read more

Not sure what to say about this place. I picked it for the high reviews- quite an accomplishment in an arena where apparently appliance guys routinely just don't show up. But this place had the best reviews on Yelp, and indeed they got in touch with me quickly, and the guy showed up the next day on time. He was nice enough but because my fridge didn't happen to be making the loud droning sound it makes on and off, he seemed completely clueless with what to do. I'd sent him video of the fridge making the sound and assumed that would be enough but when he got there he said he couldn't diagnose anything unless the fridge made the sound in front of him. It didn't. About an hour after he left, it began making the noise again, so I sent him some more videos, but now he's just saying odd things like maybe it's the magnets on my door, or there's a screw loose somewhere. Like just making random guesses. I've had the magnets on my door for years so it's obviously not that. Because the company charges $150 just to show up, there's no point in calling him back, I might as well buy a new fridge. Just a warning that if your fridge's problems are on and off, don't call these guys unless you know for certain the problem will be happening when they show up. read more

John followed-up and provided a refund. I do appreciate the call to try and make things right with the refund and would recommend if anyone is having issues, to speak to John directly to try and resolve. Since there was a lot of miscommunication in this process, my recommendation to other customers is to start an email thread so there is documentation on communications and expectations between both parties. Bullet point out specifically what you're looking for even if it was communicated over the phone and send it for confirmation if Precision can or cannot do a certain thing asked, and after any conversation so that expectations on both sides are set. I would also have the technician on the thread as well if possible if there was mention of another follow-up after a visit. Ask for pricing as well prior to any visits/consultations. If there is a complaint, to follow up with John who is the manager vs a customer service rep. I hope this is helpful and insightful of services for anyone else that is looking to replace/fix their washer/dryer units. Overall. I'm providing a 4 star for the refund and follow-up from John. read more

As a passionate avid cook. My ovens igniter went out after 12 years of constant baking. Least to say I was devastated. I messaged John at 3:30 pm today. By 6:30 Vito was in my home. It was extremely humid heavy rain, but he came despite it all. Within 25 min my oven was up n running. Vito was polite friendly and professional. Chatted a few minutes. Asked a few questions. Job well done. Extremely satisfied by his accomplishments. Thank you guys for being here at a moments notice. Will definitely be saving your numbers. With graduate. read more

Brian was very helpful and reliable. He could have done and billed us for a washing machine repair but he made the honest assessment that it would not make sense to pay for the repair that might not last when the cost would be so close to the cost of a new machine. We took his advice and purchased another machine. We called him later about another repair and he was very responsive. read more

So easy to work with in every imaginable way. Fixed the problem in record time. Highly recommend! No BS.

Needed a technician to take a look at my fridge, since it wasn't cooling properly. I called Precision to schedule an appointment, after doing some research (Google, Yelp, etc.). Our technician, Vito, was great. Great communication (he was even able to arrive a day earlier!), super friendly, and above all, honest. He gave me my options regarding repairing my fridge vs. buying a new one. No pressure to make my decision either way. I'll definitely recommend Precision to anyone who needs an appliance repair. read more

My LG washer decided to stop working, and there was a puddle of dirty soap water "marinating" and of course, it was out of warranty. The LG site listed several repair services, and I researched each one -- and you know how it is, bad review after bad review, warnings to stay away, horror stories galore. It wasn't until I found Precision Appliance, did I have any hope that I could get it repaired! John called me back almost immediately and was able to quickly diagnose the issue over the phone. He even showed up at my apartment armed with the part needed to fix the washer. What I appreciated the most, was that he didn't talk down to me. As a woman, I can't tell you how many repairmen have just been sexist and rude. I once had a repairman say "This is a charge for appliance education, since you clearly don't know how to use your fridge." Because I've only had the same appliance for 5 years, and clearly, as a woman, suddenly stopped understanding how to use it. John was respectful, he explained what was going on, and even gave tips on the dryer -- apparently one should clean out the condenser every 3 months, which no one ever tells you when you buy it. After leaving, my washer (it worked!) started to make an incredibly loud noise. I called John back and he said he would return to take a look at it. And, of course, my dryer stopped turning on altogether, so I informed him that I would be happy to pay for this second visit as a service repair. John arrived, fixed the dryer in a matter of minutes and also the washer's loud noise. For no charge. I did, however, give him a tip because I am thankful to get repair services (at all) during COVID-19. Thank you for being respectful, professional, efficient and great to work with! read more

My dishwasher leaked and I called Precision Appliance Service based on reviews. They replaced the gaskets on April 7 for $244.99. Last week the leaks returned, only worse. Precision sent a service person who said he couldn't find anything wrong. As an architect I am used to getting to the bottom of problem issues, and resolving them. read more
