I had my washing machine repaired by Ronnie who was able to diagnose the issue, order the part, and get it repaired quickly and at a great price. He gave me some great tips on making my appliances last as well as some advice for when it's time to replace. I really needed to stretch the time I'm keeping what I have now so I'm glad Accurate is still around to get things back in working order. I've been using them for years and my mom used them before I did! Honest and the best around. read more

Everyone needs an appliance business where the service people are honest, reliable and timely. All three were true for Accurate. Additionally, they service charge is actually reasonable. I appreciate Anthony for waking us thru what was wrong, where to not spend money, and getting our dryer and stove back on the up and up. read more

Professional, very knowledgeable, friendly. My family have used them several times. Very reasonable as far as fees. Highly recommend them.

I have called this company a few times for dishwasher, refrigerator, washer, dryer. A guy named Ron has been our service technician I think every time. He is intelligent, respectful, and polite. He explains all the options before he gets started, including money-saving options like Explaining how I can order the part myself and fix it DIY-style. For once I don't feel like I'm getting the runaround. read more

First time customer -- so impressed with the professionalism of this business. My dryer was giving no heat and I was so worried I wouldn't be able to get it fixed before the holiday. My usual go to appliance repair business wouldn't be able to come for a couple of days. Accurate came within 90 min of my call! I was amazed and on top of that, the repair person was so knowledgeable and knew he could fix the issue within 2 minutes of assessing the situation and at such a reasonable price! I was bracing myself for appliance replacement due to the age of the dryer but the repair associate let me know it was a good dryer and just needed two parts which he had on hand. Seriously so impressed with this business! This is the only appliance repair business I'll be using going forward. Customer for life. read more

Accurate is a fair and honest company. I called Accurate regarding my washing machine and their agent arrived the next day. Their repairman was straight forward and honest regarding what needed to be done and didn't push for anything extra for the repair or costs. The final bill was very fair considering the labor that went into the repair. My family have always called upon Accurate for any repairs. Their prices and professionalism go a long way and gives you some relief. Give them a call! read more

A sign of a good company is when they tell you that you don't need their services. I've used Accurate Appliance Repair before for my oven, and I was impressed. They came swiftly and were professional. I called them today about some problems I'm having with my refrigerator. They gave me good advice about fixing and (someday) replacing it. I really appreciated their honesty and helpfulness, even though no transaction happened today. I'll definitely call them next time I need help with an appliance. read more

We met Joe at Accurate Repair, when our 15 year old Samsung washer and dryer were not working properly. He was honest about the diagnosis, and gave us suggestions on next steps. We saved his card and am I glad that we did. We bought new replacement GE washer and dryer. Installation of the washer we did on our own, but needed a professional to install the gas dryer. So we called Accurate. Their prices better than reasonable, they were affordable and great! Joe's professionalism and appliance knowledge was exceptional. He called us the morning of our appointment and gave us an acceptable two hour window of time that he'd be to us. He showed up, when he said he would. Let us know what they could/couldn't do, asked questions and explained everything. We felt confident about the work performed We would recommend Accurate Appliance Repair/Joe, without hesitation to anyone in need of a appliance repair or installation. Try them first, you'll be so glad you did. Even if you've called other places first, give them a call, explain what you need, and they'll let you know what they can do. If i had to describe them in just two words: Competent and Affordable. read more

For some reason I'd had this business bookmarked forever. So I suspect I've used them in the past... they say memory is the first thing to go right. But anyways, fast forward to 2020 and imagine you're located in ground zero of a global pandemic when suddenly, your refrigerator breaks down. Your weekend's worth of panic grocery shopping is thawing slowly, and you feel like crying. This was my status in April. AAR responded quickly and promptly. In the end, we still had to replace the refrigerator, but the timeliness with which they responded, the efficiency at which they worked, and the fairness in pricing, all spoke volumes. They wore masks, and were very professional. I'd use them again, no questions... even without a global pandemic! read more

I called Accurate Appliance Repair yesterday at 3:30pm, Joe came by to service my broken dishwasher today at 11:05am, and he had figured out the problem (wiring issue) and was fixing it by 11:08am! (This is after I called PC Richard & Son - who installed this dishwasher 2 years ago - and waited 2 weeks for a service appointment only to have the technician ask me what I thought was wrong with the dishwasher, not check out the dishwasher at all, and then tell me based on what I was telling him that they needed to order parts to repair it and would have to come back at a later date). Needless to say - glad I reached out to Accurate Appliance Repair for a 2nd opinion and will definitely be going to them first from here on out! read more

Prompt response and service. They came over very quickly within the week and gave a quick diagnosis. Very polite reps and techs. read more

When my dishwasher stopped working, Joe came out, explained exactly what was going on, gave me the options (replace the whole thing, or order a pump). I decided to order the pump. Unfortunately, the pump was defective and stopped working well in a couple of days. Joe grumbled a bit, but found another pump and had it installed in under a week, at no additional charge (per their "repairs guaranteed" policy). Works great now. I'm sure they lost money on the job, but they got another 5-star rating...! read more

Accurate Appliance is awesome. I contacted them on a Monday regarding my washing machine and they were able to come that Wednesday. Accurate Appliance Repair - Appliances & Repair Near Me - Brooklyn, New York

It took me 2 weeks to get the appointment. When the repair man finally come to our house, he told me the washer can be fix only if we get some guy to help us remove the stackable dryer on top of it. He had surgery done on his chest & can't do heavy lifting which I understand, but when I ask if he can get someone from the company to help us do it. He said we would have to find someone ourselves. We end up buying a new washer. read more

I called about my dryer. The repair people were in the neighborhood so they stopped by to take a look within an hour. It was easy to tell they knew exactly what they were talking about. GE Refrigerator repair....Called yesterday afternoon. Repairman (Joe and asst) came this morning and said the reason it stopped cooling was either a compressor failure (in which case we'd need a new fridge) or something less drastic and fixable. Fortunately, it was the latter: a new relay was installed and we're back in business ! He also installed a new steel water line. Total cost: $270. BTW, this was Joe's second visit to our house. Several months ago the broiler in our stove stopped working, also like the fridge after years of working well. He fixed that quickly, also with a replacement part ($175). Both times, pleasant and knowledgeable man, quick service and fine results. Highly recommended. read more

I cannot say enough good things about the technicians from Accurate. The fixed my broken dishwasher quickly and efficiently. The technicians showed up on time, diagnosed the problem, fixed the problem, cleaned up, and were done in about 45 minutes. Price was fair and my dishwasher is working again. read more

The repairman came promptly and fixed my 12 year old stove. It cost a lot. But I imagine any repair service would be these days.

Accurate Appliance came out this morning to assess a dishwasher that just totally died very suddenly. The serviceman diagnosed the problem ,advised me of the repair cost and informed me about the best brand choices should I decide to purchase a new one instead of repairing the old dishwasher. What a pleasure dealing with this company! Their repairman ( the seventh to come to my house since Covid -19 began) was the FIRST to come to my door with a mask covering his nose and mouth which he kept on during the entire visit. He was pleasant, professional and very informative and the service charge was more than reasonable. In this day and age, it's very rare to find an honest, competent company that cares about its customers and its reputation and isn't out to scam or overcharge! Again, what a pleasure! I am not a resident of San Francisco ,Ca. I reside in Bay Ridge in Brooklyn,NY. read more

They have fixed my stoves in 3 tenants apartments through the years and charge a fair market price vs. others who come in and want a few hundred dollars more. In my apt. a stove and dishwasher was fixed a few times. Another rental apt. where I live now in they fixed a stove and this would have cost me $7-800.00 This company has saved me Hundreds and/or thousands as I didn't have to buy new expensive appliances due to their expertise. My residents also marveled that their appliances were fixed as they thought I should have bought new appliances too. read more

Great guys came over to see about my washing machine. It had leaked some water and set off an alarm. I called and they came out the next morning. They checked everything out and found everything to be working normally, hoped it's just a fluke but it was great they came out quickly and made sure there wasn't anything seriously wrong. Knock on wood, no more issues. read more

Our dryer stopped heating and Accurate Appliance Repair was recommended by someone on our neighborhood list. I called them yesterday, they explained the drill - $55 to have technician diagnose, which they waive if they actually do a repair (i.e. if it's not worth fixing, it's $55 for the visit, otherwise it's just the cost of the repair, not repair cost + $55). He came out today, asked about the symptoms, immediately diagnosed it as failed gas coils, said it was a worthwhile repair on that unit, and he had the part and could do it right then. $157 and 10 minutes later the dryer was hot. They guarantee the work/part for 3 months. Will definitely use them again. read more

I am extremely dissatisfied with the service I received from Accurate. My LG French door refrigerator stopped functioning properly. The freezer was fine, however, the refrigerator part malfunctioned. In order for my groceries to remain cold the temperature level had to be set at the highest point. Up until this occurred, I kept the level midway. The technician looked and ruled out mechanical problems. He then advised that if it isn't mechanical then it must be electrical. He stated that refrigerators now come with computers tied into the electrical system. He suggested that I keep it at the highest level as a solution and then gave me the bill. I still do not know what is wrong and feel cheated. Either he was incapable or unwilling to assess the electrical issue. If this company does not know how to fix electrical issues with the newer model refrigerators then they should not accept jobs where this could be a likely scenario. I must now find another service company that is competent in this area. read more
