Steven is fantastic. My fridge started making a pretty horrifying sound and despite my deep dive into YouTube I wasn't able to fix it. Steven was at my door in about 35 minutes. He assessed the situation and tried to fix the problem but came to the conclusion that the compressor was dying. He took the time to explain to me how the compressor works, why it's not worth repairing it and we should get a new fridge, and counseled me to do that ASAP to avoid a fire hazard. I have used Allsafe Appliance Repair on several occasions. Once to replace an oven starter for a tenant's Samsung oven, another time to replace a motor in a large Whirlpool fridge because it wasn't cooling properly, and a third time to replace an ice maker in my Samsung fridge that was leaking water and not producing ice efficiently. Each time Steve came down to evaluate the problem. What's great about them is that they typically get it diagnosed and repaired while they are there. Unlike other appliance repair people I've used in the past, Steve usually has the parts in stock and gets the repair done that same day. So far, everything he repaired for me has been working great and the prices were reasonable. I'm very impressed with their service and grateful to Steve for his professionalism and skill. He even went above and beyond by replacing the original Samsung ice maker with a more advanced updated Samsung ice maker model, which Steve recommended at no additional cost, to avoid the same leakage problem from occurring again in the future. I called all safe when my dishwasher suddenly sprung a leak on a Tuesday night when I didn't need to have another problem to get through the week. I've found them on yelp and reached out. I received a prompt message asking me to describe the problem and a commitment to be there the next day around noon. They arrived on time and met with my son since I was at work. They did what you really want a technician to do, they were honest. There was a simple loose connection at the base of the dishwasher that had sprung loose. He reconnected it, cleaned the dishwasher and refused to take any money from me at that time. He asked me to give it a couple of days to have it run and if everything was fine just to pay the regular $75 service fee. I was very happy with them as to the service and the convenience of payment. I was connected to Allsafe via the Yelp request a quote feature to repair our dishwasher door. I tried the repair service listed on LG's website a few times with no answer. I tried several local repair companies but got little information. Allsafe was great about communication, giving a quote that was close, and was very accessible with scheduling. The tech came to repair but our dishwasher was an older model so had to order the parts. These came in quickly and the repair was done a few days later. The price difference was for the parts that were ordered. Honest, quick, and good work. Most Importantly, the repair was to fix the dishwasher door that was slamming open really hard. I was able to get an appointment quickly. The repairman was very careful with my Subzero and my house. He took off his shoes, which I really appreciated. The icemaker still wasn't working after the first visit, so I was able to get another quick appointment, which he fixed the issue without additional cost. Subsequent communication was responsive. What a gem! I had been trying to get warranty work done through the PC Richards warranty department. On May 1, 2021 I bought an Electrolux washer and dryer for an upscale Brownstone I own as a rental. Each time someone new came and left saying parts had to be ordered. Excellent service. I had an issue with my oven igniter causing a large, rising flame to come through the vent into the cooking/baking area accompanied by a strong burning smell.
