I called these guys for a GE washer repair. The initial diagnostic indicated a fairly expensive part needed to be replaced, but the repair was still cheaper than buying a new machine, so my landlady decided to go ahead. Everyone I spoke to was courteous and respectful. I received a very prompt call and response to the online contact form I filled out. I then received a follow-up call to set-up an appointment for the very next day. My technician was Vito and what great service he provided. He was knowledgeable, personable and patient with explaining what he was looking for and advice on what to consider as next steps. I also loved how confident he was about his experience yet humble with gratitude about his mentor who trained him on the craft. Would definitely call Precision again if I ver need service for my appliances and recommend them. My LG washer decided to stop working, and there was a puddle of dirty soap water "marinating" and of course, it was out of warranty. The LG site listed several repair services, and I researched each one -- and you know how it is, bad review after bad review, warnings to stay away, horror stories galore. It wasn't until I found Precision Appliance, did I have any hope that I could get it repaired! John called me back almost immediately and was able to quickly diagnose the issue over the phone. He even showed up at my apartment armed with the part needed to fix the washer. What I appreciated the most, was that he didn't talk down to me. As a woman, I can't tell you how many repairmen have just been sexist and rude. I once had a repairman say "This is a charge for appliance education, since you clearly don't know how to use your fridge." Because I've only had the same appliance for 5 years, and clearly, as a woman, suddenly stopped understanding how to use it. John was respectful, he explained what was going on, and even gave tips on the dryer -- apparently one should clean out the condenser every 3 months, which no one ever tells you when you buy it. After leaving, my washer (it worked!) started to make an incredibly loud noise. I called John back and he said he would return to take a look at it. And, of course, my dryer stopped turning on altogether, so I informed him that I would be happy to pay for this second visit as a service repair. John arrived, fixed the dryer in a matter of minutes and also the washer's loud noise. For no charge. I called two other service companies and got no responses but John at Precision Appliance returned my call right away and he couldn't have been more gracious and helpful. He had me force-drain my dishwasher and it sounded to both of us like a broken motor (expensive repair)! And here's the good part: he honestly explained what a replacement and servicing would cost and he advised against me spending so much on a lower-end machine. This is by far the best repair company I've ever dealt with. I contacted them twice this past few months. Once for a washing machine problem and once for my fridge. In both times they called me back within 5 min and came over within a few hours (and both times they showed up on time :). In both occasions the repair guy was super friendly and explained everything and I ended up paying for the diagnostics and repair less than what two other companies wanted for diagnostics alone. Awesome! Highly recommend. Super reliable and professional. Spoke to Eddie on the phone. He was able to diagnose the problem with my leaky Whirlpool refrigerator that I bought in 2003. He asked for a photo of the model number and brand. He checked with John to make sure the replacement parts were in the van. They corresponded quickly via phone and text so we could schedule an appointment. I called on a Saturday and got a 8-10am time slot on Monday morning. I called a few other places and decided to pay more for the confidence I had in Eddie from our phone call. John called 15mins to 8am to assure me that he was parked and would be at my apartment at 8am. He assessed the problem and estimated it would take and hour. He gave me the quote and explained the common problem and the solution. He then helped me take everything out of my freezer so he could defrost the freezer which had a sheet of ice. He helped me cover the feet of the refrigerator with my towels so not to scratch my floor as he moved it. Replaced the part and then offered to sweep behind the refrigerator "since you could never get back there"! I was ready to adopt him! He even finished within an hour! I experienced an exceptional service when dealing with PAS. I utilized Yelps reviews to find a service that will fix my dishwasher. I spoke with Eddie at first over the phone and set up a date to have John come fix the problem. Both guys were very communicative, efficient, and a pleasure to work with. My Bosch dishwasher had a slight leak coming from underneath the door frame. The leak was due to the rubber flap being bent from debris getting stuck underneath the flap. John had located the problem and had the necessary part delivered to them super fast. They came back a second time to fix the problem. My only complaint is that the entire cost for the flap and service was over $300. I believe the price was a bit steep. I took one star off for cost otherwise these guys are great. read more

Great response and follow-up. The team came to look at my broken dryer with a set of replacement parts based on the make and model I provided on the phone. After inspection, the issue was identified as electrical board requiring replacement. John offered options but was very honest stating that the fix was only first in line of the issues to come due to the age of the dryer. He even contacted his friend/colleague to find out suitable model and price which I ended-up purchasing as price was good (below Home Depot, P.C. Wow, what a pleasant and uncomplicated experience -- so unlike the other companies we called before we contacted Precision. We chose them not because they were recommended by the manufacturer or the store but because of the excellent Yelp reviews. Which turns out to be a better way to find someone to fix your oven (a Frigidaire, if you're interested). The people we talked to on the phone were professional and pleasant. I can't say enough about the stellar service that PAS provided. Eddie sent John out to look into my fridge that wasn't cooling, as well as repair the ice maker. I was charged roughly $500 for the service call, the replacement parts for the main control board and the ice maker, going ahead with it, figuring it was worth the investment in prolonging the life of my 13-yr-old GE Profile, rather than buying a new one for triple the cost. No such luck. John came back, only to discover that another replacement part within the fridge was needed, and would cost another $250, so he gave me the choice to go ahead or resign to getting a new fridge. I went with the latter. Ordered my new fridge, and John came back a THIRD time to dismantle the new parts from the old one before it got hauled away. Eddie reimbursed me immediately, minus the original cost of the service call. Though they were unable to fix my old fridge, they came through on their dedication on trying to resolve the matter with excellent customer service. Eddie's been in the business for a long time and he's an upstanding guy, as well as John, who was willing to come over on a weekend outside of work hours to dismantle the fridge for me. read more

These guys are the best and I highly recommend them. I had a Bosch oven that recently died and Brian sent a tech out to check it out. Although it was an electronic issue that couldn't be fixed (parts no longer being made), he continued to look for other solutions including calling his distributor for replacement ovens of the similar size. He was on time within the two hour window he gave and an absolute delight to work with. He actually took time to walk me through the suggested repairs and explain what he recommended and offer alternatives. The cost of the diagnosis visit ($115) went towards the final cost of repairs with him which was more than fair as were his prices overall. On top of everything he was not only pleasant and prompt but more than considerate, taking it upon himself to actually clean and wipe out our freezer while he worked!
