I had an issue with a 30 year old furnace not starting, and was not ready to purchase a new furnace yet. Arturo from Precision Air showed to the appointment promptly at 8am and did some troubleshooting for the first 30 min. After diagnosing the issue as a faulty voltage absorption system, he had the part in his van and was able to replace it. The appointment took a little over an hour in total and he got the furnace working again. He was professional and efficient. read more

We had our HVAC system installed last August. Steven and his crew did an outstanding job. We turned it on for the first time this weekend. The system shut down unexpectedly. I called on Saturday morning and left a message. Steven called me back within 30 minutes and arranged to come by the next day. He showed up on time, took care of my issue and had us up and running again. I would highly recommend this company to anyone . Very satisfied! Thanks read more

After two humid summers here, we decided to install AC in our home. We got a couple of other quotes, and Precision Air had the best prices, and since they replaced our heater and duct work last year, they were an easy choice. They finished the job professionally and on time, cleaned everything up when they were done, and thoroughly tested everything before they left. Our house had also been painted last year, and two of the vents had been blocked to keep the overspray out, and James even took the time to take care of that for us. Thanks for everything! read more

I had Precision Air service my AC which was not working. I made an appointment over the phone which they followed up with an email reminder and text. Chuck was my service person. He was on time, very polite, and told me what was going on as he serviced my AC. He replaced a part and my 18 year old AC was up and running again, all within about 45 minutes time. I was very happy with the service and the reasonable prices. read more

Great job coming after hours for a broken part. Quick fix and COVID precautions. Would definitely use again!

I recently inquired with precision air for AC at my house in Cardiff. Eric Johnson came out and met with me and outlined a couple different units and options I had. He was very knowledgeable, friendly, and did not pressure me into anything. He truly understands decisions home owners must make and makes you feel comfortable the whole time. Overall a great experience! read more

Eric from Precision Air was very friendly, knowledgeable, and forthright. I appreciated his insight into our HVAC system and would work with Precision Air again. read more

The Precision Air team is outstanding. They installed a furnace and AC unit in our new home a year ago. With the recent cold weather we had a heating issue - unrelated to the furnace or their team's craftsmanship. Their team was lightening fast to respond, showed up on time, provided expert advice and quickly diagnosed a simple fix. The problem - as a new home owner we didn't realize we needed to change the air filter every three months - thus, with a quick education on what filters to buy and how to change the filters, the Precision Air team was on their way with another happy Encinitas family - with kids sleeping in a warm house tonight. read more

Eric, James, Juan, and Javier did a great job installing our new air conditioning system. They were the most responsive A/C company we talked to. I would recommend them to anyone who is considering air conditioning. Awesome job guys! read more

Technician was helpful, honest, and friendly. Whole thing took about 4 hours for him to clean 18 registers and sanitize the intake vent (not 100% that's what it's called) He explained the process well, answered all our questions and told us what he found when he was done. In this case, a giant dust bunny that was messing with our kitchen register We're happy to have a clean system and will definitely use them again when needed! read more

I was in a difficult spot with an escrow closing on a rental property and little time to address the inspectors concerns regarding ducting. I reached out to a number of vendors but they were either too busy to fit me in, too expensive or non responsive. Steve and his team came through for me. They worked their schedule and even went outside the norm to help me out. They gave me a reasonable quote and were on time with no surprises regarding their work. Steve and his team saved me as the escrow closed on time and the work was done in a professional manner. This is how a vendor should treat customer. Thanks, Dave and Lisa read more

Our AC unit needed to be completely replaced which was a 1.5 day job. The company was very quick to come out for an estimate. I believe it was the owner who came to the house and he was very friendly and professional. All of the workers who were at the house during the removal of the old unit and install of the new unit were very courteous, clean and respectful of our home. I was very happy with the service and would definitely recommend them!! read more

I contracted with Precision Air for 3 split minis in my home. After a lot of issues with things Damian was sent out and he is AMAZING!! Got my units all up & running today. Also want to shout out to installers Mike,Hakeem (sp?) and additional tech who came out with Mike on a Saturday! These are the MOST respectful kind installers/technicians I have worked with ever. read more

The technician was even early, and texted me ahead of time to make sure I was home. He was polite and thorough. Diagnosed the problem with my thermostat and made sure both the heating and air were working. I would definitely use them again. read more

Great team to work with! Everyone was so professional. They are a class act, and came out quick! Received a Text with technicians picture so I new who to expect. I really liked that. Owner is hands on, and offered a great rate. Would use them again. read more

First time using Precision Air. Damian came out and arrived on time. He took the time to listen to my multiple issues and then diagnose for over 2 hours. Turns out I have a leak in the coolant system somewhere. It's not the answer I wanted, but diagnosis is half the cure. Going to be requesting Damian again to get the repairs done. Great first impression. read more

Good prompt service. They were able to fit me in during an extremely busy time. Good customer relations and gave updates frequently when the guy would be arriving. Would use them again. Diagnosed, repaired and out the door in about 30-40 min. I just had low Freon as expected but still exceeded my expectations. read more

My furnace of 32 years finally quit. Precision Air was recommended to me by a neighbor and I checked them out on Yelp. Technician arrived right on time and gave me a choice of fixing or replacing with an estimate on each. Replacing seemed like the right choice. Tommy then came out and gave me recommendations of units for my home. Made a time for removal and installation of new unit. Again, everyone arrived on time. Aaron and Weber were terrific. Went right to work and completed the job. Explained how everything worked. Took old furnace and cleaned up everything. Tommy even checked in to see how it was going. Communication was great. I'm a happy customer. Will recommend to friends. read more

I used Precision Air to install an AC into my condo last year and they went above and beyond what was expected from a AC contractor. This condo is rented out and when my tenant complained that the back bedroom was not as cool as the rest of the home, they sent out Damian Duran to fix the problem. My tenant reported that she was very impressed by Damian's personality and expertise in getting right to the problem and fixing it immediately. read more

This is our second time using Precision Air for new installation at two different homes. Both times they were the best quote received, the fatest to install, and amazing customer service! We were lucky enough to have the same team lead for both jobs, who is absolutely great to work with. They are professional, clean, and friendly. Highly recommend! Service team for our second job, June 1, 2020, were Jon, Tony, Anthony, and Jose. Great job guys! read more

i had precision air replace my central heat a/c unit. i liked their price and i liked the salesman who i believed was giving me the best info. install was quick, despite their equipment and guys with the equipment showing up well after the first installer got to me. (vehicle problems) now, after summer, i can give you my numbers. last july, my sdge bill was $450 and my august sdge bill was $500. i was in shock. i had never had a utility bill over $180. after install, my july bill was $189 and my aug. bill was $218. no solar equipment, just a more modern, more efficient a/c unit. i am shocked that i made that much difference in my sdge bill, and my house cools down much quicker than before. read more

I had a great experience with Precision. They have a well run office with friendly and responsive staff, a knowledgeable tech who met me at the site and explained the options, and proceeded to efficiently install a new heater and AC unit at my rental property. They did not upsell me, but in fact explained why it wasn't necessary to spend more on a pricier model or brand. I would easily recommend them to others, and my use them again at my home. read more

I worked with Eric Johnson to have 2 mini splits installed. It wasn't an easy project because there were a few requests for things that were not straightforward. Eric was very good about explaining the reasoning behind each step of the process, and honest in explaining why certain things weren't done. I appreciated the transparency and honesty. Overall, I am very satisfied with the work that was done. read more

Precision Air came out to look at our mini split system in a guest house we have -- a unit that we have had lots of trouble with and another company could never get it fixed. Carlos was an expert on these systems and he worked to diagnose, then test the system. He identified the issue and we are optimistic it is finally fixed! I am very happy with their service and will call them again. read more

My wife and I just purchased a home in Fallbrook, our forever retirement dream home. We decided one of the first things we were going to do was replace our entire heating and air conditioning systems that were 24 years old . I did a fair amount of research and got three competitive bids. We ended up choosing Precision air. Glad we did. From the initial meeting with Michael, their sales representative, front office to the installation of the units, we could not be happier. They literary sent in the marines delivering two brand new Trane, 3 ton air conditioners and two Trane variable speed furnaces. Eric the lead man along with his crew of Sam, Jose A, Julio, Mike and Jose B spent three days in my home doing one hell of a professional installation. They took the time and care of covering our floors with tarps to general clean up each day. Eric the lead man really enjoys his job and was happy to explain how each system worked. When the job was finished we completed a final job walk and tested each system. I highly recommend Precision air for your next install. read more

I thoroughly recommend Precision Air Inc. for your air-conditioning and furnace needs. We have been wanting an air-conditioner for some time and have gone back and forth between individual room split units and whole house central. We finally decided, only to find ourselves slap bang in the middle of Covid. From the beginning Precision Air Inc. showed professionalism and attention to safety protocols. I contacted Amanda at the office expressing my concerns for an in house/person estimate. She connected me with Michael who asked me tons of questions, checked out my house on google earth and gave me a ballpark figure based on my information. That way we limited people coming into the house unnecessarily. Companies that did not offer that option, we did not consider. To finalize the estimate Michael arrived masked, shoe coverings and did a walk through, all other discussions were held outside. He gave options on high end, low end, and right down the middle. He answered every question clearly and patiently. Michael assured us his installation team would be extremely competent, very safety conscious and knowledgeable. He did not lie. I cannot say enough about the professionalism and conscientiousness of Jose the team leader, who along with Bill, Anthony, James and Michael, worked hard and diligently, in the unbearably hot attic, in an old house. Jose is extremely knowledgeable and thorough. They worked exceptionally well together which you don't always see. We needed new returns and vents put in so cutting etc. was required. We also replaced and relocated our furnace, as well as all our ducting. This required them to remove and bring in extremely large and cumbersome machinery. All the while they took care to protect our home and belongings. If they couldn't work around it, they asked me to remove it. They did not take chances. We are extremely fussy, and Jose worked with us to make sure every new return or vent that was put in, was done perfectly. The whole team wore their masks the entire time it was feasible, while they were in our home. They left it spotlessly clean, and they organized their equipment out of the way every afternoon. They finished on time Friday the 10th of July, 2020, as quoted, and then the heatwave struck! Thank you, Precision Air Inc., because of your fabulous, hardworking team, we had a marvelously cool weekend. read more

Our experience with Precision Air was awesome! Michael came out to look at the house and was very helpful in discussing our options. Jose and the crew were all so respectful, prompt, and hard workers! We have a 5 month old and a cat, and they were very conscientious of baby's naps and not letting the cat get out. Also- they wore booties over their shoes any time they came inside the house to prevent dirt from tracking in and lined all hallways/stairs with drapes- huge plus in my book! Would highly highly recommend them!! Thanks Precision Air! read more

Arturo came out from Precision Air to one of my rentals in San Marcos. We really didn't know what the exact problem and if it was operator error with the thermostat or an actual problem with the system. Arturo was on time, assessed the problem, contacted us and got approval for the repair. The price was fair and the job was completed right then. Arturo was very polite and did a great job. My tenants were very happy to have the air working since it was a 100 degree day. I will definitely call them again if we have a problem with the HVAC system in the future. read more

Out of 10 HAVC repair companies in San Marcos area, Precision Air had the best quote. They were quick and had no problem laying out the exact price immediately. Unfortunately, I hired a different company (from Yelp) whom I thought was an honest and gave me a fair price; however, it turned out that I could have save $100 if I had hired Precision Air. It did not occur to me that as an Yelp user, you could request a quote from up to 10 companies. Please do your homework and shop around before hiring anybody! read more

Professional, clean and honest company. Highly recommend! Thank you Michael,Michael,Juan,Julio and Eric for your excellent job!

Precision Air was very professional and easy to do business with. The price was great and the installation was done as explained and everything works as it should. The sales rep. Michael was very helpful in describing what would be done and transparent about the pricing and equipment to be used. read more

If you like spending thousands of dollars on an AC system only to have it not work whenever you need it, leak copious amounts of water into your house, cause a massive mold infestation, take multiple visits to fix the AC, and more than 5 weeks to repair the drywall, only for you to have to do most of the work yourself...go with these guys. That's the summary, here's the details: The system was installed September of last year, but we never really needed it until this summer. After the system had been running for a while, it randomly shut off. A couple days later it worked again, then shut off. At the same time I found substantial water damage in a hall closet directly under the pump in the attic. Putting 2 & 2 together, I knew it was condensation leaking down and not draining. It took them nearly 2 weeks to come out to "fix" the AC. It worked again for another day or 2, only for it to stop working AGAIN over Labor Day weekend when it was in the 90's. I called their "emergency 24/7 help line" but got absolutely no help. The 24/7 emergency line is just an answering service with zero ability to get in contact with anyone at Precision Air, and even less knowledge of AC systems. Finally, on Tuesday (9-8) after 3 calls to that line over the weekend, I made a 4th call and got someone in the office, who offered to have someone out later in the week. Fortunately I had asked the 1st guy what the initial problem was, and was able to siphon water out of the emergency backup drip pan enough to get the water level to a point where the pump would work and the AC would turn on. Working in a 120* attic, sucking dirty water from a drip pan through a hose in order to get my AC to work, is not my idea of good service. Also, it turns out that when the drip pan is sloped in the opposite direction of the pump, water can leak out of the pan relatively easily...Shocking. In the meantime my closet had mold growing in it. An entire wall, the ceiling, and the panel above the door needed to be replaced. Due to their backlog, it took nearly 3 weeks to have someone come out to start the drywall repair. Apparently not knowing that drywall repairs take multiple days (despite the fact that EVERY DRYWALL REPAIR EVER IN THE HISTORY OF DRYWALL REPAIRS TAKES MULTIPLE DAYS), they booked their repair guy another 2 weeks out so he could texture the walls and paint. He came and did some sanding, and re-mudding, but was still going to need another day to wrap it all up. Finally, today (10-6), I got so sick of waiting on them, and taking things in and out of the closet and having stuff stacked up in my living room for my 2 year olds to get in to, that I painted it, reinstalled the trim, and caulked everything myself. That's a full 6 weeks from my initial call about the problem. Not once did they proactively call me back at any step in this process to establish a schedule, apologize for the delays, or see how things were going. Every single time, I had to contact them to get something they should have made a priority onto their schedule. Yes, there was no charge for them coming out, but their service is complete garbage. read more

Prompt, professional and helpful...Will definitely use in the future.

Received a quick response for a quote on some home inspection house repairs from the company. Was able to schedule right away.
