We bought a new house at the end of 2022, which did not have A/C, decided to wait and see if it would be required. Summer was comfortable - until Labor Day weekend brought excessive heat, and a house full of family and friends. At that point, we decided to act. After contacting 4 or 5 different companies, Precision Air was 1 of only 2 that ever responded; both quoted the same AC Pro dual heat pump system as an addition to our existing, less than 1 year old furnace, at very competitive prices, but Michael earned our business. System was installed this week, working with our schedule. James, Javier and Eddie did a great job, were professional at all times, paying attention to all details. We noticed the next day that the blower was making excessive noise, called Precision Air to share our concern. They immediately scheduled a technician to come out the next day, who was able to adjust the fan speed to where it is now barely noticeable. We strongly recommend Precision Air to anyone looking for heating or air conditioning services. read more

This company is amazing! Their communication via email, phone and in person is excellent! The professionals showed up on time, wearing masks and had booties on to come inside of our home. We had our air ducts cleaned and they did an incredible job, and we're very thorough. Our home smells SO clean! Highly recommend this companies services! read more

Our 20+ year old AC unit was on it's last leg. Instead of trying to revive it, we decided to get some quotes for a new AC/Heater. Michael was great! He took time to get to know my husband and I, understand our needs and budget. When we moved forward with Precision Air, the process was very easy. James, Javier and Eddie were amazing! My husband and I work from home and they were always communicating with us to ensure we knew what the process was and how they were doing for the day. At the end of the 2nd day, the team did a great job cleaning up and showing us the system. I would recommend Precision Air to anyone! read more

David, the technician from Precision Air, showed up on time to find what was wrong with our just out of warranty Daikin Furnace (which I do not recommend as it has broken down twice since installed - but that is another story). Precision Air did not install the furnace, a mistake on our part. With incredible detective work, David found several problems and one by one, fixed them. He kept us informed of what he was doing and why at every step. The charge was only for the diagnostic and truck call even though the problems to track down and repair took hours. I highly recommend Precision Air. read more

Following up on the previous work we had done to clean our air ducts, Hanson came to figure out why one of our rooms doesn't get any heat or air-conditioning through its vent, and he was fantastic! He found the problem quickly and was able to explain it to us patiently and thoroughly and gave us an estimate for how we could reconfigure our duct system to fix it! Thank you so much! read more

Precision Air did an excellent job installing a Mitsubishi Split system at our house. Michael Amodeo gave professional and friendly advice. The installers James, Mike, Eddie, and Brandon worked well as a team. They were very friendly and competent. The unit was installed in less than 6 hours. All this happened without any stress- even though there was a rainstorm going on during installation. The team left the site very clean. The unit functions well. We are very happy. read more

Concerned about the quality of air in your home? Need the air ducts cleaned? Wondering if your air conditioning and heating are working efficiently? Had recent remodeling or damage to your home? All of these and more were the case when I called Precision Air. After my home had sustained extensive water damage, the house had walls opened up and flooring had been removed, the nice man from the mold remediation company mentioned he would check the air filter. There was NO air filter! I knew it was time to get the air ducts cleaned. Sam to the rescue! Sam came in and immediately I knew we were in good hands. His expertise, patience, and kindness were evident. Sam and Julio did an incredible job! The air we breathe effects health, allergies, and actually quality of life. When you want the best, call Precision Air. You will not be disappointed. read more

We have worked with Precision Air twice now. They came to fix a heater a couple of years ago, and Michael came out last week to give us a quote on central AC. They are competitive, kind, and professional, and the ONLY reason that we aren't getting an install right now is because we are still deciding how long we are going to stay at this property. Otherwise, we would 100% go with Precision Air. Highly recommended. read more

I needed to get a mini split installed for our condo. I got multiple bids for the job. I was most impressed with Precision Air and the explanation by Hanson the field rep. They were not the least expensive and not the most expensive, but I am so glad I went with Precision air. The job was finished to perfection and we now have heating and cooling in an old 70's condo. They did not make any additional dry wall holes. Cleaned up after each day and really worked hard to make sure everything was perfect. Thank you to Jose the lead installer and having patience and leading his team of Jun , Julio and Anthony. I appreciate your hard work and perfection on the install. It will be a cool summer! I would highly recommend Precision Air for your AC/Heating needs. read more

I had a condenser unit go bad up in the attic - needed to be fully replaced. Got three bids - Precision Air was the first to respond and also had amazing pricing. I would absolutely call on them again next time I have A/C or heating issues. Very professional and friendly. read more

We needed central AC in our 50-year-old house in Carlsbad before the summer heat arrived, and we'd never had central AC in any of our earlier homes. We looked through Yelp reviews and picked out three firms that seemed like good choices. Precision Air was at the top for responsiveness, and they didn't mind explaining air conditioning systems to us as many times as it took. Their quoted price seemed high but further investigation showed possible problems with the other firms--one hadn't been around very long and was far away in San Diego, and the other had quoted prices for white-label components instead of brand-name. We finally decided to go with Precision Air because of their responsiveness and hand-holding in the process, and because of the expected reliability of the final system; they were even willing to reduce their quoted price a little bit when we showed them the other quotes. Then... the rest of the process went very well. We scheduled the installation the next week, it took just three days, and the crews were very easy to work with and cleaned up after themselves pretty much perfectly. (They'd warned us that replacing the old heating vents might leave some marks from dirt that had been trapped up there for 50 years, and they were right, but this seemed unavoidable. We'll have to repaint a little in one room.) So... our AC is now in, looking good and and working well in tests, and we're ready for (almost) anything the summer might throw at us! It's too late now to make a long story short, but we recommend Precision Air. (Oh, and BTW, if you tell Yelp you're looking to install AC, they might send your information to a dozen other random HVAC firms too, who will clamor and clamor and clamor for your attention. This did not help us.) read more

We had a Goodman HVAC 5 ton unit installation on 5/11/21 by mechanics Troy, Ernie and Nick. They arrived as scheduled and prepared to start the installation. They were very professional and efficient. The area was prepared with care and awareness to avoid any inconvenience to us with minimal disruption. The installation was professional and the quality was exceptional. They took the time to answer all of our questions regarding the system. Precision should take pride in these individuals that represent your company. I have been with Precision for many years and they are definitely improving their personnel skill level. I highly recommend Precision Air for their investment and training to be the premier Company in Arizona. Ken & Carolyn Gordon read more

These guys are amazing. i have had 3 different AC companies come to my office to fix a AC problem and Precision Air's Terrance was the only one who properly diagnosed and fixed the problem. They are same day responsive on call backs, very fast on setting the appt and getting the work completed. After 6 months of going through 3 other local AC companies and not being happy, these guys restored my faith. read more

I'm so happy with this company and will definitely use them again. Super quick to book and flexible. Had to reschedule and it was no issue. Two guys, Brandon and Marco, came early and were efficient. They were very professional and most of all respectful in our house. 100% recommend. read more

Precision Air is very good. I found Eric Johnson to be a straight shooter that helps you decide what is best for your NEEDS and that was refreshing since the other estimates I received felt like they were selling me glossier versions simply to line their wallets. When Precision came in $2,000 less (!) than the next closest it made the decision very easy. We installed a new AC and furnace to replace our original issue that was 30+ years old. It also came with a slick WIFI Honeywell smart thermostat and has been great so far. Install was very efficient and Alberto knows his stuff. He led the crew and they performed all of the tasks quickly, efficiently, and cleanly. I highly recommend Precision Air. read more

We have just recently moved back to North County San Diego and now live in an older home. The home's AC needed to be updated. We found Precision Air through our realtor and are very happy we did. Our first encounter was with Michael who spoke with us about our needs and how Precision Air could meet them. Michael was very friendly and not at all high pressure. Being very reasonable, we accepted his bid and the work was scheduled. The crew, led by a different Michael, was very professional. They had committed to completing the work in a week and put in an extra hard day in order to meet that commitment. The guys worked together as a team which was very nice to see and they know what they're doing. Michael answered any and all questions we had about the system and even the smart phone app. Many kudos to Michael, Brandon, Dillon, Marco and Javier for a job well done! read more

Called to speak with sales person about having a new hvac system installed in our home. Disappointing that no salesperson could not speak with me for five business days. Reluctantly I agreed to make an appointment for a call back because this company is highly rated and nearby. Today at 9 AM I was my appointment time. It is now 1:30 PM on the appointed day. No one from Precision Air has called. I would like to award a rating of zero stars for the zero service we received. Guess 1 star will have to do. I strongly recommend you not use this NONRESPONSIVE company. ************ Additional comments regarding Precision Air's reply to my review. The telephone number I called to make the appointment was 760-858-8000 per my cell phone's call log. The appointment was to be with a salesman named Michael. I do not know the name of the Precision Air employee, a woman, who spoke with me on the phone. *********** Additional comments regarding Precision Air's reply to my review. Noah contacted me and explained the series of mistakes that were made leading to the failure to receive a call from the company at the appointed time. I recognize that mistakes can be made and appreciate Noah's rapid efforts to correct the problem. As a result I am changing my review to 3 stars to reflect the service provided by Noah. read more

Pride in workmanship is the best phrase I can think of to describe what I experienced with Precision Air. Jose, Marco, Brandon and Rene did a fantastic job replacing my 35 year old HVAC system and ductwork. Each or them were extremely courteous and professional. You know that a crew is top notch when they are not only respectful to their customer, but also to each other. As the crew lead, Jose was obviously passionate about his work and ensuring that every part of the job was completed with excellence. He sure went the extra mile for me. And, I can't forget about Michael. His patience getting me exactly what I wanted on the quote and answering all of my questions before I signed the contract was noteworthy and very much appreciated on my part! My husband and I thoroughly researched different air condition companies. We had several different quotes and weren't really impressed with any of quotes or the information that was being provided for us. We finally found Precision Air on Yelp and we saw the amazing reviews for Eric. Well, I have to say all the 5 star ratings for both Precision Air and for Eric's experience for both heating and air is true! From booking the first appointment to choosing the right air conditioning units & furnaces every step was easy & very professional. The quote was also the best one that we received. Eric, & Roxana in the administrative office were very knowledgeable & easy to work with. Installers worked very hard & we were very happy with the entire job upon completion. If you are looking for air conditioning units or furnaces, I would recommend Precision for your air & heating needs. read more

My AC had been acting up and this is the third time they have been at my house. The first time I called was about loss of power to my upstairs Nest thermostat. Steve of Precision air was easily able to diagnose the problem and was out the next week with parts to make a permanent repair. Haven't had any issues with the repair whatsoever. The third time I called was this morning when I had a bleach like odor coming from the a/c vent. Steve came back and checked all the ducts and vents for any leaks and verified that that unit was functioning properly. He assured us that our unit was not dangerous to our health when we were worried sick! All in all, Precision air is a great company and will be my go to when servicing or repairing my AC units. Steve is extremely professional and usually can come on very short notice (same day). Within minutes, he has the problem diagnosed and usually if he has the parts he needs to fix, will have the AC up and running again within the hour. Once repaired, you can rest assured that you will have no further issues with the repair! read more

This company has a great response time to requests. Very happy with the furnace servicing provided by Arturo. We made an appointment with Precision Air in August to fix our AC. The technician came on time and was though on inspecting. However, there was some miscommunication (maybe lack of communication) so we made some complaint to the office. Almost immediately Mary reached out to after they investigated the matter. She was very sincere and reasonable. She definitely went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied. At the end we are very happy with our experience and would use their service again and recommend to friends. read more

My 15 year old Maytag gas furnace was failing. Called Precision for help, based on Yelp reviews. James showed up on the same day. He discovered major repairs were required. Should be more efficient as well. Thanks Precision, James, Michael, and Javier for a job well done. read more

Recommend Precision Air for HVAC needs. They are reliable and do what was promised. No BS, no delays - they get the job done and do it well. They could use a better email system when communicating - it often communicates different and incorrect info than their dispatch communicates, which is confusing to the customer. However, all in all they are a good choice and trustworthy. read more

Precision Air replaced our furnace and installed central AC last week. They did a great job. They kept our house very clean during the install, and ensured all of our needs were met. What a fantastic experience from booking the appointment, the prompt service call and the technician who went out of his way to fix our 20 year old heater. He was neat and tidy and fixed two holes which were preventing heat flow to two rooms. He educated me and replacing filters and how the flow of our heater worked. Precision Air is a great company to do business with. Eric, our sales person, and David, our technician were excellent. We had some questions around the operability of our furnaces. We ended up with a smaller bill for now and will definitely use Precision Air when we do bigger work down the road. Thanks again Eric and David. read more

From the first visit, I could tell this was going to be a positive experience. Eric met me and was very down to earth, friendly, and very experienced. Everyone was great - Roxanne at the home office, Jose on site, and Eric engineering our HVAC strategy. The system they installed is fantastic and was pretty painless. Now I have another project involving 3 AC units and 3 furnaces and I'm already talking to Eric about doing this new project. Highly recommend! read more
