The Bait and Switch: During the purchase of my 2017 Mercedes-Benz E300, the Finance Manager aggressively pushed a $3,000 NVP Warranty. I was explicitly told it was "Bumper-to-Bumper" and covered the entire engine. This was a lie. They rushed me through a massive stack of digital documents, hiding the fact that they were actually selling me a highly restricted plan. 2. Failure to Honor Commitments: When the car suffered major PCV and LED failures (P052E), NVP denied the claim because of how the dealer registered the contract. The dealer now hides behind "AS-IS" clauses to avoid responsibility for their verbal misrepresentations. 3. Legal Intimidation: Instead of acting in good faith to resolve the $3,000 fraud, this dealer had their In-House Counsel send me a "Cease and Desist" letter to intimidate me into silence. They would rather pay a lawyer to bully a customer than honor their sales promises. I WOULD GIVE 0 STARS IF I COULD!! I showed up early for my 4:30 PM test drive appointment at Precision Automotive Group to check out a 2013 BMW M3. Keep in mind i was very excited and willing to work a deal with them and purchase their car from the moment I reached out to them... But from the moment I arrived, the experience was unwelcoming. The test drive was literally just up and down the street. No proper greeting, no handshake, no interest in who I was--wasn't even asked my name. After the short drive, the salesperson walked back inside and left us standing outside to look at the car ourselves. When we eventually went back in, he just said, "You're done?" and after we confirmed, his only response was, "We'll keep in contact." That was it. No effort to sit down, talk numbers, or even pretend to want to earn my business. It honestly felt like I wasn't taken seriously--probably because I'm young and don't "look" like I can afford a car like that. Little do they know I run a successful business at 21 years that could buy this car 10x over. Not that it should matter--judging someone based on appearance is bad business, plain and simple. I was looking for a fun starter sports car to get my foot into the door of owning a euro fully on my own and did not find that here. Still open to making things right if someone from the team decides to actually reach out and treat me with the same respect they'd offer anyone else. I'll gladly update this review if that happens. Absolutely terrible experience. This "business" is full of liars, thiefs, and crooks. Do not go to this dealer, do not purchase any vehicles from them, and do not trust what they say. Even if something is in writing they will falsely claim the interpretation was meant in their favor always, they have no respect for their customers. And unfortunately they've now lost a customer who has purchased more than 40 vehicles in the last 15 years. The salespeople will claim the price posted does not have any strings attached and then include various charges. They will then use "finance" which is just a random person in the office without experience to pressure you. If you are unlucky enough to sign a purchase agreement, take note they use vague language to then claim it's a legally binding document so you cannot receive any refunds for refundable items. Specifically they provide an NVP Warranty that is 100% refundable if canceled within 30 days, however they try to make a profit on the warranty "Service Contract" and will not provide a full refund. tried a Ford Fusion Hybrid that has about 90k miles hit from almost every side if you pay attention to gaps between doors rear bumper, and front grill is pretty much gone, still "clean title" so had hopes for it with the not so high mileage, but the car is legit bad, it averaged 25.4 MPG (even after saying so the car dealer was like " there is no way you probably need to drive it for longer" even though we drove it for like 20-25 minutes) acceleration is not consistent (I know its a hybrid but still was REALLY inconsistent, and the dealer said that it is apparently normal) something obviously wrong with either the full chassis, or wheel calibration, or just brakes, but when you stop the car the wheel turns to the right. The only reason why I'm not giving 1 star is because they allowed me to actually test the car correctly, didn't care how long we tried it, and the clerk at the entrance was pretty nice. Overall wouldn't recommend them cause they obviously are not honest with what they sell. They try to sell you this guarantee that they will take care of your car after you buy it to reassure you, but their cars are in really bad shape, and would require a LOT of maintenance (so a lot of money spent on you that they should've spent on actually fixing it before you buy it). read more

HORRIYING EXPERIENCE: I purchased a car from Precise Automotive Group February 1. Within the first 72 hours of having the car, the tire sensors all needed to be replaced, and the charcoal cannister needed to be replaced. I had to advocate for these fixes to be made after being told "the lights would just go away" several time. Within the first month of owning the car, the brakes entirely went out while I was driving on the highway, and a mechanic had to come and replace the caliper, rotors and brake pads. My local mechanic that I know and trust has also let me know that the brake hose and washers are completely deteriorated and need fixing. The spark plug needs to be replaced, the battery needs to be charged and an entire inner fender is completely missing from the car. The entire time I was working with Precise Automotive Group they have been dismissive and condescending. At this point over $3,000 worth of repairs have been required within one month of a purchase. I cannot recommend working with Precise Automotive Group at all, and if you must, YOU ABSOLUTELY should have a pre purchase inspection done by your own mechanic not affiliated with this dealership. read more

Very, very poor experience, stay away...Battery in car was ten years old , I had to spend 300 to replace it. How can a dealer not see that a battery is 10 years old? Front brake pads had to be replaced as well. Failed md state inspection. They are not selling safe vehicles. Did not provide an oil change as promised. I did return later and they did a comp. Oil change, but it was a lot of trouble to travel 80 miles to return. They refused to offer anything to make up for the above deficiencies which any reputable dealer would've noticed. Also, they did not send out my permanent plates until after the temp tags expired. This is flat out irresponsible. I had to call and email numerous times just to get license plates. Buying process was initially good, but just wait for the followup process, they are unhelpful and don't stand behind their vehicles or promises. There are many wholesalers in chantilly. Save yourself aggravation and go somewhere else that stands behind their vehicles. If you buy from here have some jumper cables ready because you just might need them. Do not recommend at all. RUN. THEIR CONTRACTS MEAN NOTHING TO THEM. I bought a car here with an extended 4 year warranty. They gave us a discount of 350 to fit our 12k budget. Long story short, i got into an accident and the car was totaled after 2 weeks. Our insurance covered the car, but not the warranty, of course. I called, and emailed precise to cancel that warranty. Since it was within the 30 day window, i am entitled to 100% refund, per the contract we signed. As you can see, they're trying to deduct the car's original discount from our extended warranty refund. I called the warranty company and they said that i was indeed entitled to 100% refund. These people are dishonest, greedy and treacherous. They will make you take pictures with your new key and their fake cut out for their social media, and then they'll ignore the contract that protects you, should you need something. BEWARE. Sketchy at best. Visited this morning and the Lincoln I was interested in had several inches of standing water in right rear floor footwell. Water has been there awhile as moss or mold was growing up the sides of the footwell. And moisture was fogged on inside of windshield. Save yourself a wasted trip and read the entire thing. I went here looking at a "special" 40th anniversary edition 370z. They didn't treat it very special - the engine oil was below minimum, tire pressure light was on, the exterior was very dirty, all 4 wheels dirty/curbed, the fuel gauge didn't work properly (went from warning light on for low gas back up to no warning on my way back) and after all that they were unwilling to negotiate on price. Shady at a minimum. I will grant them the courtesy of acknowledging they were otherwise quick in response in-person, but clearly they don't take care of the cars properly. We had a great experience here, looking for a car for my daughter. There was absolutely no pressure to purchase the car. They provided the Carfax report for free. We had a relaxed test drive, and then left to look at a different car at another dealership. We came back after driving the other one, and sat down to do the paperwork. We found out there was a glitch because my daughter is a contractor, instead of a normal full time employee. They were flexible, and found an alternate way to do the financing. The whole process was smooth and handled very professionally. They took care of the licensing as well, and the plates will be mailed. We would recommend them to anyone! read more

My experience with "Precise" is that they are anything but. I was looking at a 2010 Mercury Milan, listed at about $10,000, which is $1500 over the Blue Book value (this one to be exact: https://www.preciseautomotivegroup.com/vehicle-details/used-2010-mercury-milan-hybrid-sedan-chantilly-va-id-44045983). When I walked in, Amin said "It's in great condition." Everyone was extremely nice and accommodating. I took the car for a quick test drive and immediately saw it needed an oil change and a tire pressure sensor light was on. Precise had no idea (one would think an oil change is pretty basic). In addition, the passenger side had been severely scratched and covered with what looked like some kind of acrylic paint - they didn't even try to match the original color, and I was concerned that whatever they used to conceal the damage would not last or protect the car. I took the car to my mechanic. They noted: the right front headlight assembly needed to be replaced because it was leaking and full of water, the right front tire pressure sensor was missing entirely, so it's not like the error I saw as soon as I got in the car was recent. Finally, they noted there was clear, significant body damage to the car. The rear bumper had been replaced recently (possibly by Precise, although they said it wasn't them), and the right rear tail light was not aligned with the car. It was visibly out of alignment. My mechanic said there was no way to tell how badly the car had been damaged but it was clear extensive body work had been done. I took the car back to Precise and pointed all of these problems out to them. They said they had not noticed any of these problems except the damage to the passenger side. Regarding the passenger side, Amin said, "that's cosmetic and we will not do anything about that." I explained to Meghan that my mechanic had said it would cost $800-$1000 to replace the entire headlight assembly and as much as $200-$300 to replace the sensor, depending on the cost of the part. That made sense to me considering the car is 12 years old. Meghan said she could fix the headlight herself for a few hundred and replace the tire pressure sensor. She also said they were considering repainting the passenger door. She said she'd talk to the owner about what they could do. They then kept me waiting over an hour, then the other finance guy came out and said they could take $500 off the total price (about $12,000, with the processing fee, taxes, etc.), but would not fix anything. I explained the car could not pass inspection with the headlight assembly having water in it, and I didn't think it was appropriate to pay $10,000 for a car that would require several thousand dollars of repairs immediately. They said they'd had a lot of interest in the car and wouldn't work with me. Obviously the market for cars is very tight. But their admission that they did not know about the damage to the car combined with their refusal to negotiate on the price tells me that Precise Auto has no idea what they're selling and doesn't care. It could be a lemon, it could be dangerous. That's why I walked away, and you should too. read more

Zero Professionalism - Had a car lined up. Talked to Harris on the phone first and he said he would send me videos. (That never happened) Megan called to review my application and to talk about financing the car. I filled out the finance application as requested. Megan said she would send videos. Got one video of the engine bay. Then she went silent. Called and texted numerous times throughout the day. No one got back to me. They decided to run the credit report on my account, which of course takes a hit on my credit. Called the very next day and sold. Not once did they mention I should put the security deposit down! Alright, my overall experience here went well. I purchased my first car from here a 2014 Kia Optima Hybrid LX. I called ahead and let them know I wanted to buy this specific car and put down a security deposit. I let them know that I was coming in that day to buy the car and when I arrived they had every thing ready and I absolutely loved that. They had the car parked out front for me to test drive and they also had all the paper work prepared for me to sign so that process went much quicker than I thought it was going to. The lady that went through the paper work with me was very upfront about what each paper meant and explained them to me and answered any questions that I had. I liked that a lot. Now if you're going to buy a car here please be aware of their 5 day warranty and you cannot exceed 200 miles on the car within the 5 days.. I knew about the 5 day warranty but not the 200 miles last. I still decided to take a chance and buy the car because I really needed to get my own. I think that it comes off as suspicious so it made me a bit uneasy but as I said I needed a car and could no longer wait. They did offer an extended warranty but I couldn't afford that at the time but most dealerships do at least a 30 day warranty. The lady who was working with us also reassured me by saying their goal is to sell good cars to keep a great reputation and also mentioned that they had done an alignment on my car that day. There were no present issues that I noticed with the car (mechanically) that day but I decided to go and take my car to a mechanic after I bought it to make sure everything was good because the more I drove it and got used to it I noticed a few things. So, when I took my car to the mechanic I found out that my left tire rod end was old and needed to be replaced, my tires weren't balanced, my steering was a bit off so they had to fix that and do another alignment on the car as well.. I also needed an oil change he said he could see it had been there for awhile and the cabin and air filters needed to be replaced.. so I did have to pay for those things that could have been taken care of before I purchased it.. There is an AS IS agreement but regardless those things could have been taken care of before I bought the car. But I still love my car I'm sooo happy with it. It was just unfortunate that I had to pay for that stuff that's all. So if you see a car you like at the dealership I would just recommend that you ask to take it to a nearby mechanic and have it checked out to avoid what I experienced. read more

Pretty disorganized. Made an online request to test drive a vehicle at a time slot. When I arrived I was informed that the car had not been pulled from their storage and they seemed to have no idea I was coming. Car was in pretty rough shape but worked to my benefit as they had no time to fluff it up. While that's not all that bad, that is not the thing that turned me away completely (and made me write this review). While I was test driving the car I received a phone call from the dealership. thinking it was an emergency I pulled over to answer it. It was a rep from the dealer finding out if I would like to test drive the car. WHILE I WAS TEST DRIVING THE CAR. How a rep would not know that the car was being pulled from storage for me to test drive and that it was out being driven is beyond me. Hello, I am writing this review on behalf of my daughter, who according to the hold harmless agreement they sent her, they have limited her rights to leave a TRUTHFUL review for everyone and even though it is against the law(Consumer Review Law of 2016), I will share her experience. She came into the dealership on February to look at a Kia Forte, even though I didn't really like the thought of her buying a Kia due to the engine problems it has had in the past. But of course I allowed her because she is doing very well at college and me and her father wanted to treat her to a new car. I am currently on business ventures outside of the country that's why I didn't follow my daughter there, but I was on the phone while she was there. Late February she came and she decided she wanted to buy the vehicle, upon test driving my daughter and son both noted sounds coming from the engine but they assumed it was due to the mileage (which was over 99k.) I made sure she asked the representative if the car had been maintained and she agreed to everything and assured my daughter. My daughter complained that even from the day she left the dealership the car would shut off multiple times and our family mechanic of over 25 years noted that there wasn't any brake pads or oil in the car at all. So already they sold my daughter a car that wouldn't pass Maryland inspections. Please note that they have a 5 day exchange program which they didn't allow my daughter to use after they had tried to fix the car to no avail which caused my daughter an almost accident on the highway just a day after they had claimed to fix the issue. This dealership is very deceptive and they don't care about anyone including my young daughter. The only solution they could come up with was either my daughter would pay an additional out of pocket cost to get another engine or she would forfeit her downpayment(which was my hard earned money!) and they would end the loan. PLEASE BEWARE of this dealership and PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE ensure that you get a proper diagnostic from a certified dealer(GO TO THE MANUFACTURER OF THE CAR FOR A CREDIBLE DIAGNOSTIC) before you purchase ANYTHING FROM THIS DEALERSHIP. Luckily my daughter has found a new dealership (MORE RELIABLE AND TRUTHFUL) to get a car from.
