This photo is a message I received stating that my vehicle is a LEMON! Purchased from PRECISE AUTOMOTIVE GROUP IN CHANTILLY, Virginia!!

Don't sell LEMONS! People show up expecting to receive a great offer and get a great automobile that will last at 5-20 years!!! If I had read your reviews, I wouldn't have purchased from you. Walt is sneaky and shady. I asked him specifically if this car is any good! He replied that it was one of best!!! So not true!! The BBB needs to read all of these reviews and close this dealership down! It's a shady business and most of not all of their vehicles are LEMONS!!!

Very, very poor experience, stay away...Battery in car was ten years old , I had to spend 300 to replace it. How can a dealer not see that a battery is 10 years old? Front brake pads had to be replaced as well. Failed md state inspection. They are not selling safe vehicles. Did not provide an oil change as promised. I did return later and they did a comp. Oil change, but it was a lot of trouble to travel 80 miles to return. They refused to offer anything to make up for the above deficiencies which any reputable dealer would've noticed. Also, they did not send out my permanent plates until after the temp tags expired. This is flat out irresponsible. I had to call and email numerous times just to get license plates. Buying process was initially good, but just wait for the followup process, they are unhelpful and don't stand behind their vehicles or promises. There are many wholesalers in chantilly. Save yourself aggravation and go somewhere else that stands behind their vehicles. If you buy from here have some jumper cables ready because you just might need them. Do not recommend at all. Go somewhere else.

I bought a 2006 Scion Xa for my teenage son from Precise; we couldn't be happier with the car. Precise delivered it clean, detailed and on-time to my house. Mel from accounting was easy-going during the purchase transaction, and Wally was friendly and accommodating during the initial test-drive. Price was more than fair for the quality of the car and the mileage. They even adjusted the e-brake for me. Highly recommend.

this is my newly rebuilt engine that i paid $8000..00 after purchasing the Landrover from Precise auto...the engine blew one week a purchase
    Gordon K.

I purchased a 2000 Landrover Discovery on approximately 4/13/23, one week later the engine blew up...i called the dealer and they said they can not do anything...cost me $8000.00 to have a rebuilt engine from another discovery placed in the vehicle. This engine through rods and actually blew a hole through the engine...oil all over I-95 here is South Fla...i had the vehicle shipped to me...

RUN. THEIR CONTRACTS MEAN NOTHING TO THEM. I bought a car here with an extended 4 year warranty. They gave us a discount of 350 to fit our 12k budget. Long story short, i got into an accident and the car was totaled after 2 weeks. Our insurance covered the car, but not the warranty, of course. I called, and emailed precise to cancel that warranty. Since it was within the 30 day window, i am entitled to 100% refund, per the contract we signed. As you can see, they're trying to deduct the car's original discount from our extended warranty refund. I called the warranty company and they said that i was indeed entitled to 100% refund. These people are dishonest, greedy and treacherous. They will make you take pictures with your new key and their fake cut out for their social media, and then they'll ignore the contract that protects you, should you need something. BEWARE. If they trick you, join me for a lawsuit, and also report their illegal practices to dboard@mvdb.virginia.gov You can also report them with the BBB

Lincoln showing moisture inside car likely from deep water puddle in right rear footwell.
    Ed R.

Sketchy at best. Visited this morning and the Lincoln I was interested in had several inches of standing water in right rear floor footwell. Water has been there awhile as moss or mold was growing up the sides of the footwell. And moisture was fogged on inside of windshield. Lastly, most of the inventory shown online is apparently not available at the business location. Not sure how they intend to sell cars that aren't available to see.

Let me offer a little financial education wrapped inside a story and review because what happened…read moreat Capital Auto Sales was a masterclass in "Buyer Beware 101." We looked at a used 2011 Audi with low miles that was labeled a "Great Value" online via CarFax. Fun fact: those platforms base their ratings on local market listings, not true vehicle valuation. Translation: if ten dealerships all overprice their cars, the least overpriced one magically becomes a "Great Deal." It is basically the best of the worst award. The salesman seemed friendly enough at first until he learned we had our own financing. Suddenly he avoided eye contact like the truth was physically painful. Those were absolutely not the words he wanted to hear. And that is when the "FUN" math party started. Most credit unions follow a 125 percent loan-to-value rule which means they will only finance up to about 125 percent of a car's real verified worth so you do not end up deeply upside down the moment you sign. When our lender pulled the actual numbers using industry standard data, the car's true value came back at about $11k. Not the sticker price. Not the market hype. The real valuation. So a car worth $11k has a maximum safe loan amount somewhere around $13,700 total. This includes tax, title, license, and fees. That is the cap. Period. Capital Auto Sales, however, wanted us to pay several thousand dollars more than that...and was bold enough to ask us to put money down to pay for their markups. GASP...THE NERVE! When our credit union refused to fund the inflated price, the salesman suddenly rolled out an entire menu of preferred lenders who would be thrilled to help us overpay. You know the type. The ones that would probably finance a cardboard box with wheels if the dealership slapped on a protection package and called it "premium." Yes. Those. At that point the math was mathing. Once you know the real value of a car, agreeing to pay way above that would be financially irresponsible. No amount of awkward explanations or other lenders could change basic arithmetic. To make matters even more entertaining, they also tried to slip in junk fees and a questionable "APEX Protect" package which was really just an aftermarket tracker for their benefit...disguised as a necessity. None of it added value. All of it added cost. This is not business. This is bad business. Buyer Beware truly applies here. Capital Auto Sales relies on customers not understanding loan to value rules, true vehicle valuations, or the tactics dealers use to mask inflated pricing. If you shop here, go in with your eyes wide open. Better yet, go somewhere with ethical practices and transparent pricing. Protect your wallet before their deals empty it. We walked away educated, not defeated. And if this review helps someone else avoid overpaying by thousands, then sharing it was absolutely worth it.

Please DISREGARD the other reviews…read more I was extremely excited to do business here with my family and purchase a car. We bought a car as is and the clerk was extremely nice but very pushy. WE GOT SCAMMED. DO NOT come here and buy a car. We checked the Carfax and everything was in perfect condition. Less than a month in, the car had very bad problems with the pistons and was eating away the oil. We have to add oil to the car EVERY WEEK. The Carfax showed no problems, which is why we didn't purchase a warranty (because it seemed like gimmick tax-ons if there were no problems during the inspection). But people know that piston problems don't just appear immediately after 1 month. This is a problem that takes time to accumulate. We called back and they said there was NOTHING that could do to help??? We were LIED to regarding any engine problems that the car could have had. This was the worst scamming experience in my life that scammed us out of THOUSANDS of dollars. We got other opinions if this was a problem that could be fixed. All opinions advised we should sell/trade the car because fixing it would require building a whole new engine and would cost the same as buying another car! I have NEVER written a review before for any place and this is my first. I am a business administrator, journalist, and entrepreneur and will make sure to share the word regarding this SCAMMING BUSINESS with the DC news, DMV friends/family, and the Better Business Bureau. This is the most unprofessional dealership business and their intentions were just to get rid of a car with major problems. I am very fair share, but we explained to them the situation and there was no help or advice given. PLEASE do NOT do business with these people.
