Friendly, fast, accommodating and decent priced. This is my first time renting with Power Self Storage. I was undecided between this place and another storage place. So I went to both places to view storage units. The first place although the service was "okay", the girl that showed me the unit was very informative. If it wasn't for her I would have left the facility much sooner. The storage place is dated, but who really cares since it for storage only. What really turned me off was the uncleanliness, and a bottle of yellow liquid that looked like urine sitting in the corner of the elevator, next to an opened piece of rotting cheese that lead to the storage unit I was viewing. When I mentioned that to the girl showing me the unit, she didn't really react, it almost seemed normal as if she was used to seeing that type of stuff. I couldn't get out of that place fast enough. So on to Power Self Storage. I originally reserved a 10x10, but only to find that I needed a smaller unit. I called their service line and reserved it. I told the call center person that I was 5 minutes away from their office. When I got to Power Self storage, the smaller unit I reserved was already taken, which is quite disappointing but a mistake the call center made. However, Dominique (the onsite rep) called her manager and found a great resolution. I was able to get a slightly bigger unit for the same price. Talk about customer service! I chose Power Self storage because knew that this place was much more professional, it's in the ideal location (off Victoria Ave), and Dominque was very knowledgeable, helpful, and her friendly outgoing character made things that much easier to decide. Did I mention their place is very clean! If you're looking for top notch service in a safe, clean, and professional facility then chose Power Self Storage. read more

Based on my personal experience with this facility, I completely disagree with the post by Hector M and had to write my opinion. For about a year, I debated about moving from a previous storage facility to Power. I had called Power on more than one occasion with many questions, which were always answered intelligently and with professionalism. Two months ago, I came into the facility and was greeted by a young lady by the name of Candice. Even though there were other customers ahead of me, she made sure to acknowledge me the second I walked in the door. That's impressive and shows professionalism! When it was my turn, I asked a lot of questions. Candice was probably the person who so graciously helped me before on the phone. Candice listened patiently while I explained how much stuff I have. In the end, I left the other facility and rented the perfect size storage at Power. The staff at this facility are professional and courteous. i would recommend this facility to everyone. With regards to Hector M's comments, and after reading the response to his comments by the storage facility, it is pretty clear that he was the one doing something wrong that broke the rules and got caught. Period! Instead of acknowledging what you did wrong and being accountable for your actions, you blame others. I also read some of your other posts and interestingly you said very similar things about Starbucks and the Apple Store. It seems that it is always someone else's fault when it is really yours. Instead of bashing others and being so rude, why don't you stop doing what you aren't suppose to be doing? Problem solved! read more

I am not sure where the negative, seemingly made up claims are coming from. I didn't see any chain smoking parolees at Power Self Storage! Wow, people that usually create their own problems, blame others. One, they no longer contract with the USPS, but when they did? I used them exclusively! Perhaps the reviewer was there on a day they were short staffed as I never had any problems as he described. Now, as far as the other ride & negative comment, extra charges for going to your own rented storage unit? Laughable ! Anyway, I will speak from my own personal experiences. There was an simple administrative error made re: my promo, but that was cleared up quickly & professionally by Cathy. Next, the promo on the unit I rented was amazing! 50% off each of the first 2 months & when moving, saving, in essence a full months rent, is a huge help financially ! Also, they have a nice security system set up there with wonderful insurance coverage. I don't currently know of anyone moving & in need of storage, but if so, I would surely recommend this storage facility - all thumbs up from me! read more

I typically do not spend the time to write reviews on businesses unless they are head and shoulders above the others. In my many years of dealing with various types businesses I have never come across a more professional, friendly, and accommodating group of employees working for Power Storage in Ventura. Every single person that works there greets you with a smile when you walk in the door. Prior to choosing power storage I shopped around and found their prices are considerably lower than others. For new customers you are allowed the use of their 20 plus foot moving van one time. I cannot say enough good things about Power Storage Ventura other than you will not go wrong if you do business with them. Many Many Many Thanks to Candice, who made sure that my storage needs were met. Not only is she beyond knowledgeable, she is super pleasant and friendly. Her professional attitude shows that is going to do very well in this business as she does a great job promoting her company's name and values of trust to a person who rents from them. She is every energetic and had no problem in showing me around so that I could make the right choice. She was so patient with me as I had all kinds of concerned questions and she put me at ease right away. Today I signed up for a storage space at the Victoria location in Ventura, Ca. I was greeted by a very cheerful girl named Domonique. She was very professional, respectful and knowledgeable about there service, fees, insurance and contract, etc. I found the establishment to be clean and orderly and actually enjoyed the tour Domonique provided. After returning to the office, Domonique prepared all the necessary documents, explained them in its entirety and answered my questions to my satisfaction. I will spread the good word about this location and will recommend this location to all my friends and customers. Thank you Domonique for a job well done and that happy smile. My wife and I are in the process of moving out of Los Angeles and temporarily staying in the Ventura area. We did our research and decided to go with Ventura Power Self Storage for the location, easy access (just drive to your unit and unload), and the friendly and helpful staff. This was the first storage business that we looked at. We took a ride in their golf cart to our prospective unit, it looked good and I said "let's do this". We benifited from the 2 month discount and we are happy to have a place to store our stuff while we make the next step in our life. Very clean facility and no hassles. Stacy provides stellar customer service and also moonlights as a really good therapist ;) She listens to you, what your needs are and goes above & beyond. Dominique is the sweetest and has a huge heart. This is my first time having to utilize a storage facility and this establishment hit all my marks of what I was needing: affordable pricing, accessible hours and location AND great customer service. An FYI, if you're going to need a dolly or moving cart after 5pm then call the office first to make arrangements. They will accommodate you on what you need, you just need to give them a heads up. The staff is efficient, friendly, and knowledgeable; I've never had any sort of problem. Had excellent experience with Power Storage facilities and the front office staff. Our first contact was with Kathy, who was extremely helpful in figuring out the lowest cost to rent a 30-foot storage space, which had to accommodate our entire household goods for more than six months. On a number of occasions we had to enter the rental space and found the storage area outside clean and well-kept. Kathy and her fellow staff members were always helpful whenever we needed a tool, ladder or other equipment to access our stored goods. read more
