Thank you. Thank you for the community. Thank you for the ride. Thank you for the inspiration and experience! I came all the way from LA because I stumbled across their IG page and by far best decision of 2023 so far. Everyone was super chill and just as excited to be there as I was. The music, fire. Collyn, fire. Riders, fire. The whole damn class was amazing. I'm an extremely grateful. $3 shoe rental. $1 water. $73 crewneck. Parking everywhere.

Two weeks after moving I was having dinner with friends and given Nadine's name and number. That is when my relationship with The Fitness Joint began. 10 months later I'm thrilled to say it was the best choice I could have made. I have lost inches, gained confidence, lost body fat percentage, and gained strength. She makes training fun, brutal, but fun. She has a way of encouraging you but also listening to your needs. She talks you through the moves to decide if it's the best one for you. She is always changing things up so boredom isn't an issue. I can not recommend The Fitness Joint enough. And did I mention the new gym space?!? You'll love it! Great environment, great trainer, and great results!

I had just graduated from college and was weighing at 165lbs. I was always feeling tired, bloated, and weak. For almost 2 months without a job I tried working out on my own. Going on walks with my dog, doing 24 minute HIIT's here and there in my own home, but I wasn't feeling any stronger and wasn't seeing the changes I wanted to see. One day my mom came home from seeing a personal trainer. She told me I would love her and should give it a shot. I had never worked with a personal trainer before. I have been on countless sport teams up until college. I had done workouts with friends. Did a program called BBG my sophomore year of college, but never thought of going to a personal trainer. The first day I went to see Nadine, changed my life for the better. Don't get me wrong, the first day was hell. I could easily see me working out on my own hadn't done much at all after one workout with Nadine. But, I knew I found someone who would push me. So, I kept showing up. I have been seeing Nadine constantly 2-3 times a week for 7 months. I know weight matters to some, so I will share that I have dropped down to 145lbs. I HUGE factor in that is nutrition. Which I am 90% vegan. HOWEVER. I have never felt SO strong. The weight doesn't matter to me. The physical appearance doesn't matter to me. What does matter to me is the feeling of being STRONG. 7 months of hard work. 7 months of her pushing me to places I didn't know I could be pushed, and showing me I'm hella of a lot stronger than I ever thought I was. Nadine wants the best for her clients. If you let her work with you, push you outside your comfort zone, and let her show you how strong you can be, I promise you will not regret seeing this amazing trainer.

Above and beyond…read more Going out of my way to write my first yelp review because of how impressed I am and how much recognition this should get! My fiancé is a touring musician who unfortunately started having seizures about 2 years ago. We wanted to try and find a gym/trainer that 1.) had experience with clients with seizures (or at the very least were comfortable working with him) and 2.) would be willing to help develop some routines he can do while on tour I called and the owner 'Sweets' quickly answered the phone. He was extremely friendly and professional right off the bat and introduced himself while giving me the jist of the facility and their programs; he naturally speaks confidently and eloquently, but in a casual way where it seems genuine and not like he's a salesman. When I told him about my fiancé's seizures, without skipping a beat he said, "Oh, that's not a problem! I've had several clients and friends with seizures and epilepsy. When would you like to come check out the facility?" I was so pleasantly surprised with his response. I was worried that gyms/trainers may be hesitant to even work with him, so I was ecstatic that we found someone who wouldn't treat him like a medical case or liability. We went in the next day to check out the facility and talk in person more at length about his background, goals, costs, etc. It's a small, neighborhoodly kind of place that is clean, put together, and has modern equipment. The atmosphere is laidback, open-armed, and non-threatening regardless of who's there. Although they offer personal training, Sweets recommended doing the group classes because they're usually small enough groups that you basically get one-on-one training at a much cheaper price. He also said the first class was free and to try it out, then we could talk about signing up or not. No pressure. Uh... When's the last time you heard of a gym trying to save you money? We also touched back on the seizures, and he asked a bit more info that reassured me he had a background with them, such as, "Does he have auras? Are they full seizures or partial?" etc., while still having the casualness that made my fiancé feel at ease and excited he'd be treated like everyone else and not a medical case. Right before my fiancé was supposed to take his first class, he unfortunately ended up having a partial seizure and was having coordination/concentration problems. I called Sweets to let him know we wouldn't make it in and he said, "No problem! Just come to the next class he feels good to go." He also reached out to his friend/client who has long time had seizures to get information about if they've noticed any diets or workouts that they've noticed have helped or hurt their occurrence of seizures. All of this before he even got a dime from us. Long story short - this is not only a laidback, skillful and knowledgeable gym, they also actually care and want what's best for people. They're not just a good gym, they're good people.

Long overdue review of what's become a second home and family for me!…read more My wife and I have been members since this location opened in December 2020. I'll be honest that at first I wasn't planning to join nor stay more than a few weeks. Having done group training such as CrossFit and others in the past, and never felt much sense of community or that trainers cared nor knew anything about me. Aside from some of the best training, and MANY very challenging workouts. The sense of community and trainers actually knowing their members is where F45 Old Town is truly different than most other gyms! The community among members getting together for events sponsored by F45 and many of us becoming friends outside of our workouts is special, and something I'm grateful for. So with that being said... If you're looking to challenge yourself physically and meet an awesome group of folks while you're at it. I'd encourage you to reach out to Allen and any of the other coaches and meet the SOT Squad! The coach was fantastic. They have a full locker room with showers. Lighting is something I personally get migraines from and is not a reflection of the space.

I liked how this classes was taught by numbers and not by the traditional Jab, Cross, Hook etc! It was a bit confusing but at the end most of us got it! We had a great sweat and couldn't be more happy that we were able to take this class! We got so much content and I think they did too! So much fun!
