I tried out a class here because I wanted to integrate some pilates megaformer classes into my fitness routine. A studio with the name "burn" sounded like the kind of workout I needed! The studio has cubbies to put your valuables in. I came early since it was my first class and the instructor introduced me to the megaformer machine. Remember to bring sticky socks! The class was similar to other megaformer classes I had been to in the past. Your muscles start shaking from those pulses and holds! It was a very good workout. I found some of the directions a little hard to follow, but that might have been because it was my first class there. read more

I took a group of my friends here for my bachelorette and we rented out an entire class--it was such a blast! The instructor was so fun and made the workout really enjoyable, even though it was definitely challenging. We all got an amazing workout and had the best time doing it together. I would 100% be coming here weekly if I lived in AZ. Highly recommend signing up for a class at Burn Total Body Conditioning, whether it's with a group or on your own--you won't regret it! read more

I've been coming to Burn in Scottsdale for 1.5 years now, and my body has toned in ways I didn't know possible. I've always been a runner and a yogi. But as I started to hit my mid forties, I needed more resistance training. These classes are never the same, they always kick your butt, and they make you so much stronger. I absolutely love it! And the instructors!! read more

I have been going to Burn for years now and am still being challenged in every class. I can't say enough amazing things about each instructor. They all have unique ways in which they incorporate a challenge to each and every class that has your body shaking and wanting to come back for more. I am truly grateful for Lagree at Burn, and the way it has transformed my body and mind. Would recommend it for anyone but especially someone who is looking for a strengthening total body workout. read more

Holy craaaaaaap this was the hardest workout I have EVER done. Legs shaking, arms shaking, everything shaking but wow, what an awesome workout. I used to do those Pilates videos (like the VHS ones if you all remember those old skool workouts lol) years and years ago but have always wanted to try Pilates on the reformer. Signed up for a class online and Liz, the instructor for our class that morning, was extremely encouraging and welcoming. Tiffany, another instructor who was actually taking the class, was so nice and helpful too. Def a place where you won't feel intimidated and where these ladies will keep you going and motivating you until the very end. If you're thinking about giving this place a try, you HAVE to do it. I wish i lived closer because i would be here every day.....ok maybe every week (come on, i have to start off easy haha!!) getting my butt kicked (but in a good way!!!). Big mahalos to liz and Tiffany, you are both so awesome and i cant wait to come back and take another class from you!!!! read more

Burn is the best full body workout you will ever do! Lagree is a workout that makes you work muscles you didn't even know existed while being so low impact. As someone who was always afraid to go to classes like Pilates because of the atmosphere, Burn is the most welcoming and friendly studio I have been to. I've been going to Burn for over a year, and I absolutely love it! Every class is a fun challenge, and the more you go, the tougher it gets as you get the hang of the moves. I'm three years in now and instead of being sore for three days after every class I'm now just sore for about one and a half. Talk about building properly structured course strength - this training will do it. And there's only two of these in town. All of the trainers are fabulous and stay close to the techniqueand it's owned by a very fair minded and tough trainer. Highly recommend. read more

Best workout in town. My core has never been stronger. The instructors are professional and helpful. Thanks Burn!

Looking for a good work out? Look no further.... First, the name of this studio is quite fitting as I guarantee your body will BURN after each class! Next, the instructors are great! I had the pleasure of attending Rebecca, Jen, and Lori's classes. Despite dying a slow death in each of their classes, I still came back for more. Why!? Because it was challenging, yet fun andddd music was usually on point (special shout - Rebecca - who in my opinion had the best playlists). Most importantly, the instructors made sure I completed the moves correctly and provided adjustments as needed which is something I greatly appreciated. Great job BURN - see you next time I am in AZ read more

Just trying to give an accurate yelp rating here. If you are new, bring your grip socks, show up early..you know, be an adult. All the instructors are amazing and will give modifications, provide a killer workout, and leave you feeling empowered. Have taken Nicole's, Kalli's and Rebecca's classes and all have been amazing. read more

Wow I had a great workout! I am already sore which is what I needed. I will say that this COVID-19 has messed up my diet and workout routine. I am happy to have found this place. BURN is powered by The Lagree Fitness, a superior approach to full-body conditioning. Their efficient, 45 minute classes deliver an effective form of HILIT that stimulates core strength, cardiovascular and muscular endurance, balance, and flexibility. Each workout is performed entirely on the Megaformer using variable resistance and dynamic tension to strengthen, lengthen, and tone the entire body. The coaches will guide you through a strong, mindful 45 minute class to bring each muscle to the point of fatigue. You don't need more TIME to achieve an effective, results driven workout, you need more INTENSITY. If it's not shaking, it's not working! The instructor walks you thru the workout and give you plenty of ques to help you along. The 45 minutes goes by fast and you are working all parts of your body. I am excited to start this new journey with BURN and see what my body transforms into. read more

If I could give this place a zero I would. I was 1 min late for class and the instructor wouldn't let me join the class. this was my first time coming to Burn and it will be my last. I was so excited to try a new workout class, not anymore! The only day I had off for work and drove a hour to join this class to only be told I cant join. The Instructor was very rude, she was annoyed that I walked in late and told me hold on. Talk about a warm welcome- this place sucks and full of stuck up instructors. If you want to waste your money on a 45 min over priced workout class with rude instructors go ahead. Please get new instructors that know how to welcome a new customer. Her name was Tiffany, she sucks. read more

My new favorite Lagree Pilates studio! I'm super excited I found this new place! I was running a bit late my first time, but the instructor was super welcoming and helped me get settled. The class was almost full, with what I could tell were some regulars and first timers. Super welcoming atmosphere, and FUN! The women were giggling, screaming together in pain (good pain), and enjoying the 80s/90s mix. Never can go wrong with a little Mariah Carey. Very clean. The megaformers are like the ones I have used at other studios. The only difference is the springs in the middle of the carriage, towards the back. Sara was an awesome and fun instructor, and knew everyone's name which added a personal touch. Pretty excited to come back and pretty sure I'll become a regular. Just wish it was closer to my home :( Don't be afraid to sign up and then grab a super cute tank and grippy socks on your way out! read more

BURN Lagree - Pilates Near Me - Scottsdale, Arizona

To say this is an obsession would be an understatement! I have been going to this studio just about everyday for a couple months now and it still continues to challenge me (in the best way). The class structured in focusing on certain blocks of muscles at a time. So as soon as you feel like you can't work that muscles out any longer, it's time to move onto the next block. This really helps me to keep going and not give up. And, I swear, it never fails, at some point, my muscles will start shaking! It's crazy how effective it is in such a short amount of time. You can literally feel the burn in each move! Since I started going to this studio, I have never felt so strong and lean in my life. For the first time, I have abs! This is not something that I thought I could ever get unless I started body building. But no, 45 minutes, one class at a time has significantly changed my body! Sign up for a class today, you won't regret it!! All of the instructors are great and will whip you into shape in no time! read more

Lagree is by far the best strength and overall workout I have done. The classes are challenging, but can be easily modified to accommodate any fitness level. The added benefit I have received from Lagree is the workouts have rehabbed old sports injuries that I thought would never go away. The instructors at Burn are exceptional and know exactly how to structure a class work all of your muscles safely and effectively. Everyone was very friendly and motivating. Highly recommend Burn to anyone looking for the best possible workout. read more

This place is run by mean girls. Not only did I not feel welcome here, I felt judged especially by the instructor. She was rude and unhelpful. Although it was a good workout $32 is very expensive for me to feel worse after leaving. read more

Wow, just took my first class yesterday afternoon with Lauren and it was tough, but exactly what I was looking for! Even harder than I imagined because you do slow, deliberate movements. I typically weight train 4-5 days a week and wanted something different that would make me focus on my core and this is it. Lauren was very patient explaining the equipment to me and during the class she made sure to come by and adjust me if I was not positioned correctly and also called out modifications during the class. Great class, the facility and equipment was all clean. I'm looking forward to doing another class read more

This place is amazing. Best workout in town! Low impact high intensity. It's great for everyone. I highly recommend you try Burn! read more

All I can say is that both mine and my husband's body has transformed!!! This pooch I had is gone and my booty is so much tighter. I highly recommend Burn!!! Get ready to b sore for days but oh so worth it when u start seeing the muscle u develop n all the fat sheds off!! read more

I started doing Lagree classes in SF about two months ago (3 times a week). Prior to that I had no experience with a reformer. I sadly no longer live in Phoenix but wish I did solely for this studio. While I was visiting I was able to make 3 of Tiffany's classes. Not only is she incredibly helpful with making sure you are doing the moves correctly, she has a great encouraging/motivating style. Plus as a bonus she mixed up all three classes so moves never felt stale or boring. The 40 min class actually breezes by and I look forward to working out (I can't say the same about a lot of other workouts I've done). You'll see results pretty quickly and discover muscles you didn't know you had! If you've been considering getting into a work out routine (especially one less than an hour) I highly highly recommend Lagree and specifically this studio. When the weather is nice having the garage door open is great and all the artwork/murals on the walls are a nice touch to making the studio have an inviting element. read more

Tried this place on class pass and it was awesome. Instructor was great. Equipment was great. Workout was way more intense than I expected.

I've been doing barre for over five years. Recently my local barre studio closed and I found myself displaced. While griping about this first world problem, a friend suggested I try Burn. I thought I was strong from all the years of shaking at the barre. I thought wrong. I had my butt handed to my during my first class. :) Wow. I had no idea what to expect but I left there shaking and looking like I'd jumped in a pool. I couldn't move for 2 days. I mean that in a good way. This is no joke. Think barre/pilates on crack. The mega reformer is not the same as Pilates AT ALL. This is much more intense. It's a definite learning curve and it's awkward as you get used to balancing , learning the moves, the equipment; but Rebecca is beyond patient! I'm getting less clumsy and definitely stronger. The class actually goes by pretty quickly because it really takes concentration, and you are constantly moving through a series of different exercises. You kinda want to die while you are doing it, but you really feel like you accomplished something when you're done because this is hardcore! read more

The best workout I've ever had! I went in for my first class and signed up the next day for a monthly membership. Burn is one of the most intense, yet fulfilling workouts I've ever done and I feel my body using muscles I didn't even know I had! This class is perfect for anyone at any skill level. The trainers are so sweet and there to help you succeed. I seriously can't recommend Burn enough! read more

So I have very very limited experience with pilates and have only taken classes in Denver. I live here part time and found Burn thru and online search. I signed up for private sessions so I could ease my way into a class. Rebecca has made me a believer in this method and although I leave super tired I also leave so glad I went. I honestly can tell changes in my body in just 5 sessions. The studio is absolutely spotless and the equipment is top notch and in perfect condition. I am so happy to have found this studio! A+++ read more

I am obsessed with this workout!! I started Lagree at Burn Total Body Conditioning in Scottsdale a few months ago and now make it a priority for myself to get in for a class 4-5 times a week because I am *literally* obsessed with it. I feel amazing afterwards (even though you get your BUTT KICKED during class) and I can see such a change in myself physically and mentally. I started out with little-to-no upper body strength; but, after a few months of consistently attending class, I would be lying to myself if I said I didn't look and feel sooo much stronger. Also, my booty has perked up substantially and I know you ladies want to hear that! It is a great challenge and is guaranteed, in my honest opinion, to transform your body. All of the instructors are amazing, so come prepared to shake like crazy and burn burn burn. read more

I LOVE BURN!!! I have done barre, Pilates, HIIT, yoga and cardio kick boxing all over town and nothing compares to this workout. It is challenging in ways that I didn't even know I could be challenged. My core has become so strong, which has helped my hip alignment, posture and overall physique. And let's not forget to mention the incredible Rebecca who owns and runs the studio and all the other great instructors (Mariana, Cheryl and Candace). They are so good with beginners, including my mom who has now become a regular, and people who need modifications for more of a challenge (me). All of them genuinely care about the students in class improving form, getting stronger and having fun through a good challenge. Plus, they have amazing playlists, which never hurts. I seriously cannot say enough GREAT things about this workout, the studio, the people... I bring all my friends from in and out of town to enjoy this Gem. Check it out!! Your body will surely thank you read more

If you want an effective and sweaty and MUSCLE BURNING workout in 45 minutes, this is it!! Burn is a Reformer Pilates class with the best equipment out there. Rebecca is the owner, she's effective s a kickass business owner as well as instructor. Her classes are certainly the toughest offered. I'll take this class as part of my routine for sure. I'm positive I'll always get a challenge out if it. I'm so glad a modern Pilates studio opened up right in the Old Town area!! read more

I have the biggest crush on this place and the wonderful souls who work here and own it. I think my friends and family have grown quite tired of hearing about my obsession to be honest. If you are looking to either try a totally new workout (as I did), a new form of pilates, or just a cap to an already great workout regime- this is absolutely the place. Every instructor is incredibly helpful while also letting you discover what works best for YOU- and they do this without making you feel uncomfortable in your beginning stages. I saw results after just a few classes, which was really all the encouragement I needed. I could not reap enough praise of the postive effect this studio has had on my body, my mind, and overall well being. The slower you go, the more effective the move- the greater the results :) read more

A great reformer Pilates studio. Similar to other Lagree Pilates studios I have visited. Very helpful instructors and a small enough class format (approximately 14 beds) that they provide individualized tips and corrections. I think someone will be comfortable here if they are new to Pilates or very experienced. A good mix of upper and lower body moves along with a LOT of core. Clean modern studio with easy parking right in front. read more

Awful experience with the staff and the owner who were incredibly rude. I have never written a review before but due to having such a negative experience I feel compelled to do so. Incredibly rude and no value for service. There are better studios out there read more
