This location is overly packed, everyone is touching each other and everyone's sweat is flying on each other because of how packed it is. Couldn't hear or even see the instructor. Wasn't able to do the movements in full due to the lack of room. Kind of disappointing, Tempe location and central phx are way better in my opinion. read more

And my CorePower Yoga tour continues! I was pumped to see a studio down the street from my hotel during a recent business trip to Scottsdale. I love CorePower and find it to be the perfect addition to my regular running routine. I opted to do a Yoga Sculpt class at 6:00 am on Friday with Liz. If you've never done Yoga Sculpt, think power yoga with light weights. It's fun and goes by fast! Liz was probably my favorite CorePower instructor EVER. She had awesome music that she blasted at the perfect times. Her energy was contagious and just what you want early on a Friday morning. No reservation was required beforehand so I just walked in, paid the drop in rate, got a mat rental, and went to work! The studio was small but very clean and accessible. Been to many CPY locations all over the country. This is my local CPY but I haven't been here in a while. Came this morning for the 6 am Sculpt class. We had a last minute sub name Nancy and she was fantastic. Charles is also a great sculpt teacher here. It was challenging, upbeat, and the playlist was killer. I love when sculpt classes are unique unpredictable makes it easier to get through the challenging parts of class. Few tips if you plan to visit this location. 1. Most of the time parking is a breeze but I have been here before and the parking can be a challenge. There is parking on the street and the lot but it does get busy. 2. If packed classes are not your speed do not come at popular times. I have been in classes that were legit mat to mat. I don't mind any more but I know it can be intimidating and straight up uncomfortable for some. 3. Locker room is small if you plan to get ready here just know there is not a whole lot of space. Overall, a great studio and a great lass to kick your butt. read more

I've been visiting CorePower for a little over a month now. I started with the free week and committed to a Blag Tag membership shortly after. The location itself is always well-stocked with anything you might need to purchase (yoga mats, towels, clothes, etc.) and is always clean and welcoming. The studio isn't over-crowded, but is never empty. The teachers are friendly and helpful - they always offer support and assist during classes and are available for questions before, during, and after class. My schedule is a little limiting, so the variety of classes available and the time slots provided are great! The facility is always clean and they offer great amenities, like showers and toiletries. I'm very happy with the reasonable cost of my membership and with the flexibility to travel to other studios if I need to. Welcome to Scottsdale, Corepower! I've been taking Corepower classes while traveling for several years now. I've been to studios in San Francisco, Chicago, and Texas. I've never had a bad class... The studios are all consistently clean with talented, engaging and motivating teachers. The couple of classes I've taken at my new home studio are no exception. While I admittedly prefer a couple of the locally owned studios to this one when I'm not on the road, this CPY provides yet another pleasant option to have close to work and home. One suggestion: please put locks on the lockers in the locker room. Other than that, keep up the inspiring classes. So nice to have yet another place here in the Valley. If I could give a zero I would. I tried canceling my account twice and I just received an email stating that I would not get refund for the two months they drafted me after I request to cancel. They have terrible customer service and they are a scam. They have you sign up for a contract and don't respond when you ask to cancel. I don't recommend doing business with a company that isn't honest. read more

Don't agree to the 2 week trial or 1 week trial or any membership option. If you try to cancel later they make it impossible for you. No one ever answers the phone, the company help website tells you to go in person to cancel, and the people in their store fronts tel you that you can't cancel memberships in person. Absolute scam. I was so happy to be able to continue doing yoga on vacation. Went to an awesome sculpt class with Justin. He was motivating, funny and led us through a killer class! I was able to bring a friend to try it because of their "first week free" program. At the end of class, we were given a lemon lavender cool towel: GAMECHANGER. Definitely try out all the different classes and events this studio (and CPY in general) offers. The locker room was very clean and they provided some complimentary toiletries as well! read more

I do like the studio, it's got all the amenities you need and it's a great location. The staff is friendly and helpful and the teachers seem great. I like the class variety and the schedule they offer works well with mine...so why such a low rating?? Bro there is absolutely no reason to do a high impact workout in 95 degrees and 80% humidity. I don't need to pay hundreds of dollars to replicate the environment outside in Phoenix. Hot yoga is fine for yoga flow but when you start to introduce weights, cardio, plyometrics it's time to turn on the AC!! I've been doing yoga and fitness classes for well over 15 years and have never experienced the benefits of hot rooms for high impact workouts. Furthermore the class was over booked so we were forced to workout on top of each other. The guy next to me was sweating all over my mat! GROSS! The room stunk and I doubt they mop between classes so the floor was likely unsanitary. Nope, nope, nope I'm not down with hot rooms for these types of workouts, I'll pass. read more

I walked in and was greeted right away by Yolanda who goes by "Yo." She asked," what classes have I been to and what I liked best about Yoga?" She then gave me advice based on my answers for class that would best suit me for my practice! Love it. I got set up in class to learn I was only one in the class.. private class today with Yo doing C1 -heated. I was little nervous at first but she opened with her intention for her practice this month and I was put at ease. She was very helpful through out the class with hands on assistance for different poses. I am new yogi! I really appreciated her assistance and guidance today. My class my amazing and I learned a lot about how to correctly do some of the moves in C1. The end of the class came before I knew it and I was sad b/c we developed a good vibe. I love CorePower yoga because no matter where I travel to there's always a studio conveniently located nearby! I visited this location twice while on a business trip and was so happy to find a CorePower just 5 minutes away from my hotel. I had the pleasure of taking a 6am yoga sculpt and a 6am CorePower 2 class on different days. Each morning I was greeted by a very friendly instructor which is extra motivating at 545am. Both classes were full of early bird yogis which again, adds more energy to one's practice. Other than the staff, the thing which impressed me the most about this CorePower Yoga location is the cleanliness of the overall studio and especially the bathrooms. I WISH I could transport this studio back to my home state because it puts my usual location to absolute shame. Next time I return to Phoenix for work, I look forward to starting each day with an early bird class at CorePower Yoga! read more

Started my morning bright and early with a level 2 class with Morgan during my last stay in Scottsdale. Being that I was on a different timezone, my body wasn't happy with me - but I wanted to get a workout in before I took on the day's activities! This is one of the smaller CorePower studios that I've been to, but it was pretty immaculate. The check-in process was easy, the locker rooms were spotless and the asana room was a perfect temp to get the blood flowing. Morgan's class was great and she had the perfect energy to get the class up and running. The music suited the sequences and though it was difficult, the challenge was a lot of fun. I'd for sure come back to this studio the next time I'm in Scottsdale, not only was I more invigorated after my sweat sesh, I got to see a pretty amazing sunrise on my walk back to my hotel room! read more

LOVE the Yoga Sculpt classes here! I came twice in a day while in town for work. It was a convenient 10 minute walk from my hotel, and the drop-in rates are so reasonable at $20 for the quality of the workout. I've tried so hard to incorporate yoga into my life, but I am addicted to the breathless burn from more intense workouts. Yoga Sculpt is a perfect fusion of the two, where I'm able to increase my flexibility while getting some cardio and strength work in there. I'm always exhausted by the end of 60 minutes, but feel so empowered and at peace. They also give you chilled lemon lavender towels which are heavenly after pouring sweat for an hour. I also love the teachers here! I took classes with Liz and Courtney who were both subbing, but they were fantastic. Courtney's workout CRUSHED me, and Liz's energy and enthusiasm is so contagious after a long day. The classes don't get too crowded, either. I always have ample space to move around without accidentally caressing my neighbor's foot during a supine twist. TIP: Skip over to Original ChopShop for a refreshing juice or shake after your sweaty workout. It's only a 5 minute walk away! read more

I think it took me about a year to jump on board with a black tag membership, but I'm glad I did. I'm not too keen on cardio based workouts and internally fight to push myself which is where I find solace in doing yoga because I'm able to push myself in other ways. I've held off writing a review for CorePower for a long while, but this is deserved. I've been to many studios both in the valley and in California and I have to say this one and the Chandler location are my favorite! I started CorePower doing sculpts but have since branched out into basically whatever fits my schedule that day. 2020 has been hard and I have to say I kind of fell off the wagon keeping up with my usual routine, but at my peak I was seeing strength and toned muscle results from going to CorePower 4 times a week. Things have changed regarding their usual amenities due to covid but I am not too bothered as I preferred to schedule classes at times that allowed me time to shower at home. I actually have preferred the new schedule system as I realized that I wasn't really a fan of trying to rush to class 15-20 minutes ahead of time to secure a spot of my liking and sometimes the parking lot would get really crowded due to popular instructors. I find that the instructors that primarily teach at this location push harder than others and I can really appreciate that when I'm getting a good workout in. I have to say showing up stress free to class 5-10 min early knowing I had a secured spot regardless of covid has been a huge stress relief in trying to schedule classes. I also enjoy the small perks you get from being a black tag member with the local businesses. read more

This review is strictly in relation to the other studios in the corepower chain. Having primarily practiced at studios in other states, I've never taken classes that are so consistently overcrowded. I know they'd rather not have to deal with a sign up list but at some point the person at the desk needs to realize that the room can only hold so many people. read more

I was visiting Scottsdale for the weekend and I had a red-eye flight at midnight, so I had plenty of time to kill. As a Black Tag Member, I visited this studio for some detoxification. Morgan taught the C2 (power yoga) and CoreRestore (restorative) classes I took. She was amazing! Her energy during C2 was so high and her sequence was so unique. There aren't many CoreRestore classes in DC but there should be! Morgan adjusted her pace and tone to fit the class. I could've stayed there for another hour. The parking for this CorePower studio is much better than that of the Tempe studio. The studio itself is super nice too, but some of the showers in the women's locker room have been out of order the last few weeks I've been there (which is just a wee bit problematic when I'm in a rush to get back to work and have to wait in line). All the CorePower studios have the same general design/feel, which is very spa like and provide all the locker room essentials (hair ties, blow dryers, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, etc.). The smaller yoga room at this location has really great natural light in the afternoon which makes for an uplifting workout. The bigger room plenty large, so even during packed classes your mat isn't on top of your neighbors. This studio probably has the best rooms to practice in! I wish they had more sculpt midday classes during the week, but they're a new studio so perhaps more are on the way :) These hot yoga classes have really proven to be my favorite workout of all time. OF ALL TIME! There are so many different classes which is nice depending on how sore you are from the day before and to accommodate any preferences you have in general. Sculpt is my favorite hardcore workout (it's heated yoga with upbeat music, free weights, and cardio bursts). I also love hot power fusion, since it is essentially a fun version of Bikram yoga (the set 26 poses, only with fun music and only a perfect 60 minutes, rather than traditional 90-minute classes). C2 is my other favorite since the flows are always great and you get to practice fun inversions (those impressive yoga moves you see on yoga instagram accounts). I haven't tried any of the other classes, but those three keep me super happy. read more

Finally!!!!!! Thank you to whoever decided that CorePower should come to old town! I used to go multiple times a week to any number of CorePower locations in Minneapolis when I lived there. I moved to Phoenix about 2 years or so ago and have been searching for something like their Yoga Sculpt class since! I never realized how awesome it also is that they have full showers, lockers and a retail space too! Many of the yoga places I tried here in AZ were lacking some of these things or they tried to do a lot more than yoga and because of it the yoga quality suffered. Yayyyy yayyyy yayyyy!!!!!! I've been going on a regular basis and I can share all of the instructors are awesome. Music is great and workout is amazing as you would expect at any CorePower location. I'm so happy! read more

Knowing it would do me good, I've had yoga on my to do list since 2010. Finally, I surrendered at the end of last year and joined COREPOWER based on the recommendation of a trusted friend. I started once a week with the SCULPT class on Tuesday evening and have recently added another SCULPT class to my Sunday mornings. The entire process has been wonderful. The teachers are inspiring, friendly, caring and full of positive energy. The classes are killer! At first, I could barely complete 50% of the sequences and reps. Now, I'm up to maybe 80% and still use a lot of "scaled down" options offered by the instructors. I've never felt awkward, uncomfortable or any of the things I'd imagined before I started doing yoga. I'm truly grateful for this establishment, its instructors, other clients, modern facilities, lavender/citrus cool towels, great music and community-feel! So good! Thanks y'all!! read more

I prefer this Corepower studio to the one in Tempe, mainly for the free/easy parking situation and less of the ASU crowd. A lot of the instructors overlap, but I have found customer service to be consistently great at this location. If you've been to corepower yoga before, you'll know what to expect. One extra special touch, though - the instructors give you ice cold scented washcloths right before savasana and it is heaven. read more

Very nice location, plenty of off-street AND dedicated on-street parking. Excellent coffee shop close by, in case you get there too early. Studio is VERY spacious and clean. Bathrooms an showers were also very clean and spacious. The instructor (Jennifer) was very nice, and way too full of energy :D Class was great--the sunlight pouring in through the exit door made things warmer, with a feeling of added openness.
