The one thing about me is I'm always going to work out on vacation. I'll always find a spin class…read morewherever I am, and NYX Cycling Studio did not disappoint. You can tell they have a very strong community here of regular riders. I grabbed their BOGO deal, buy one class get one free, which made it easy to try two different instructors. I took Holland on Friday 9:00 class and Priscilla for the Sunday 9:30 class. First off, parking is easy -- located in a strip mall towards the end. The studio itself is super clean and open. It feels spacious but still has that high energy spin vibe once class starts. Front desk staff were welcoming and easy to talk to. They got me checked in quickly and made me feel comfortable right away. It was my cousins first time riding and they helped her get adjusted onto the bike. There's lockers in the lobby to store your stuff -- easy lock system to use. Holland is so sweet and her energy is really fun. (Found her on instagram hehe) She has that poppy, feel-good vibe. Great playlist, clear cues, and she keeps things upbeat. It was challenging but still so fun. Priscilla's Sunday class was lit. So much energy. Dancing, singing, hyping the room up, and somehow still making you push your limit. The whole class was vibing with her. It felt like a party on the bike. Overall, such a solid studio. Great energy, strong community, clean space, and really fun instructors. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in Arizona.

I took the intro spin class which was only $5 and my gosh it was worth a lot more than what I paid…read more They taught me how the spin techniques worked, shoes were included, a large bottle of alkaline water was only $2, they had lockers, the whole experience was A+ it reminded me of soul cycle but for a fraction of the price. The instructor Samuel, was amazing. Really funny guy and awesome instructor. Everyone was very warm and friendly in the class and I felt welcome.

I had a fun spin class here in a Saturday. It wasn't too packed but we had a blast. It was very…read moreweird though that they put three of us in the back right corner when everyone else was in the center. That's my only piece of feedback for the front desk- rearrange so people aren't hanging out alone in corners of class. Over amazing music, love the lights going off to the beat, and the choreography gave me a good workout.

I am decently experienced at cycling…read moreI go 1-3 times a week at my usual gym and wanted to try this place out with a friend who has been here before. I needed to rent shoes so I did and one of the instructors helped me get set up on my bike and it was nice! Then, as soon as I sat down they made us move a whole row forward since not many people showed up then I set my bike up again myself and I instantly noticed the right shoe or right pedal felt like the shoe was slippery on the heel compared to the first bike I set up. 20 minutes into the class I stand up during the ride and my shoe unclips itself and I fall, the pedal hits me in the calf and I start bleeding from the spikes. I clipped back in and finished the class since I knew I was okay. Class ends and I tell the lady at the front desk to check my bike and my shoes to make sure no one else will get hurt! She asked me the bike number I also told her to check the shoes and she said she'd tell the owner. I mentioned I was bleeding and my leg was cut and she said "oh my gosh I'm so sorry that happened" she never offered me a bandaid... didn't ask if I was okay... nothing! So I left and she said have a nice day. I wasn't mad about it at all! I don't care I didn't want anything from them but considering I went home bleeding... looking back they could've at least offered me a bandaid.
