You can tell they have a very strong community here of regular riders. I grabbed their BOGO deal, buy one class get one free, which made it easy to try two different instructors. I took Holland on Friday 9:00 class and Priscilla for the Sunday 9:30 class. First off, parking is easy -- located in a strip mall towards the end. The studio itself is super clean and open. It feels spacious but still has that high energy spin vibe once class starts. Front desk staff were welcoming and easy to talk to. They got me checked in quickly and made me feel comfortable right away. It was my cousins first time riding and they helped her get adjusted onto the bike. There's lockers in the lobby to store your stuff -- easy lock system to use. Holland is so sweet and her energy is really fun. (Found her on instagram hehe) She has that poppy, feel-good vibe. Great playlist, clear cues, and she keeps things upbeat. It was challenging but still so fun. Priscilla's Sunday class was lit. So much energy. Dancing, singing, hyping the room up, and somehow still making you push your limit. The whole class was vibing with her. It felt like a party on the bike. Overall, such a solid studio. Great energy, strong community, clean space, and really fun instructors. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in Arizona.

I finally got to take queen Kristina's class and she's so good about making sure to break down choreography slowly at first to help you pick it up. As she would say, practice makes perfect. Don't be discouraged if you don't get all the armography with the quick footwork on your first try. I've been cycling for years and even then I felt like I was constantly botching the choreography in this class, but I was grateful for the challenge. Nice and clean facilitates with water stations, lockers and towels.

At first I was incredibly intimated looking at all the very fit people in attendance and I was worried. But Cassidy is very intentional with the way she lays out her class and takes time to cue your breathing and core engagement. Her instructions completely changed the way I was able to connect with the workout. I wanted to cry after class because I could actually keep up! I could have closed my eyes and followed the instructor's directions, she was that specific. Her experience as a PT and presence alone is very transformative. Also she offers modifications. 100/10 would take her class again.

Depending on the type of class, the workout could be tough and leave you out of breath. But I will say, because of how fun it is it's easy to power through... especially when fun choreo is involved! Fernando welcomed me warmly and seemed super knowledgeable about everything HOTWORX! The gym is extremely clean and well stocked. I was so happy to see Celsius in the vending machine! It's rare to find a studio that is both so inviting and able to consistently deliver a great workout. I've never felt stronger, and a huge part of that comes from the coaches that push you to become your highest self. They offer both Lift and Spin classes, which complement each other perfectly. I was converted into a spin girl after just one class! I would recommend Groundwrk to anyone, regardless of fitness level. They also recently opened Portal for Pilates and Yoga, which has been a perfect add to my workout split. The owners, Ryan and Christian have created such a special place for the Phoenix community that was missing for a long time. Come through!

I…read moresigned the electronic cancellation form in their location at my last class before moving out of town. 3 weeks later got a bill for a whole extra month and then a late fee. A few months before that they charged me $15 to freeze my account when I had a medical emergency and couldn't work out, then kept sending me offers to come back but wouldn't honor the offers when I went to restart. I just want to cancel my account.
