UPDATE: date for promo class n cancellation correction. consumer warning about CycleBar *.. BEWARE! ZERO STARS....... I signed up for their 2026 promo on January 15, took ONE class, and canceled January 22. I was told my balance was zero. See email in photos Later I discovered contract documents had been electronically signed under my name without my authorization. The e-signature traces back to an IP address associated with the business -- while I was physically at home. I repeatedly tried to resolve this. No return calls at the number left in my 15 emails. No real answers. and now CRICKETS! When I contacted billing AGAIN, yesterday 2/17/26 I was hung up on by someone identifying herself as Kayla. I later referenced this in writing and was told no Kayla works there. I called back and spoke to Cheyanne, who confirmed there is a Kayla. The contradictions alone were alarming. I was told multiple times IN WRITING my account was settled. Then charges reappeared claiming I owed money. 219.00$. At that point I felt forced to file a police report and the Attorney General's office regarding suspected fraud just to protect myself. This should have NEVER HAPPENED! CYCLEBAR - This was on Feb 5th. - Cycling Classes Near Me - Scottsdale, Arizona

I am completely fed up with the Scottsdale studio and CB policies in general. They have not evolved for the better. You didn't use to have to pay for shoes. They were provided. You didn't use to have to pay for not showing up because let's face it SHIT HAPPENS and you are still getting deducted a class which YOU ALREADY PAID FOR! They now communicate via carrier pigeon as well. If you call, they don't answer. If you have concerns regarding your account, you need to go to the studio. If you don't pay your late cancellation fee, they TAKE AWAY your rides that you already paid for and then continue to up the price of the cancellation fee for everyday you don't pay. This is totally illegal by the way. I paid for a product and you can't take the product back due to your arbitrary cancellation policies. Everything is a fucking money grab for them. It's a sinking ship. You would think customer service would be a priority based on the trends of every other CB in AZ closing their doors. LASTLY, let's discuss the product. The bikes never work. NEVER. Don't worry though you will still be deducted a ride even if you had to spend it on a bike that didn't work. read more

At first I truly enjoyed this studio and the community, however once my husband and I needed to cancel for multiple reasons, we were suddenly outcasted and avoided via both emails, phone calls, and in person attempts. We ended up being charged even after cancelling (both in writing and in person) and having to fight for refunds and official cancellation of our memberships. I would recommend looking elsewhere unless you plan to jump through hoops for fraudulent charges and cancellation. read more

I had a great time at CycleBar!! It was my first ever spin class and I truly didn't know what to expect. This place was awesome though, they have shoes there for you if you are a member, or to rent if you are a non member and there are also some for purchase. They have a community locker room but private bathrooms. For my first class they decorated my locker and everyone here was super sweet from the beginning. They were very welcoming and helped me get set up on my bike. This class was a lot of cardio, but I also loved that they had some weight bars for arms that you use during the class. I came to the 545pm class on a Wednesday and it wasn't super packed which was nice. They are also did a raffle at the end of class, and have some fun unique events on their schedule. There were two instructors teaching this class and they were AWESOME! They both had great high energy, were funny, and encouraging and definitely pushed us. they were playing great music too it was a party in there lol, can't wait to come back!! read more

i had class scheduled on Saturday 9:15 with Natalie Garcia. I am a class pass user as i was pulling into the parking lot my friend called with an emergency. I went in to check in and let the front desk know. She said she didnt know how class pass would work with A cancellatio. I asked if she could just check me in to avoid the cancellation fee, she said she would. She did not. Any way, i understand emergencies happen and that i wasn't staying for class. I've worked in studios before checking guests in and if it's a one time occurrence i would never charge them a cancellation. i may be in the wrong, but also feel we are human and sometimes should be allowed grace as life happens. I thought going in an apologizing that i wasn't staying would have meant something. I was excited to try Cyclebar as I've been cycling for 5 years and love to try new gyms. This just turned me off as not welcomed. read more

Id rate zero stars if I could. Incredibly unprofessional staff. They are either intentionally misleading or just don't care enough to answer customers. They require a 30 day notice to cancel, however I called an entire week leading up to the 30 days and never once got an answer. In my voicemails I stated I would be moving out of state and want to cancel before the 30 days. Online it states you can cancel over phone or email. When I went in for my next class it was 29 days before renewal. I explained to the girl at the front desk that I have been calling to cancel and she said I needed to sign a paper with that days date. Concerned, I told her again I called a week prior to avoid these extra charges and that online it says you can call to cancel. She told me "that should be fine! We just changed management so I'll have to have the manager reach out to you if there's any issue" nobody ever reached out that it was an issue until a couple weeks ago, over a month after I cancelled. I started getting emails saying I owe $199 when I shouldn't have owed anything. Even after receiving these emails it was nearly impossible to get ahold of management to try and resolve this. I wasn't even able to attend the month they wanted me to pay for since I had already moved and could not afford this unexpected charge. Even after communicating with management they refused to listen to my points and are still trying to get me to pay a fee when services were not rendered and I was told "everything should be fine" because I had signed the paper ONE day later than required and nobody bothered to answer my calls/ voicemails. Proceed with extreme caution with this location as I've seen other reviews with the exact same issues. read more

SCAM ALERT! So glad this location closed - watch out for the scam artists who owned/ran this place. I never attended a class here, I tried once and like many others who have written reviews, I showed up 12 minutes early and they refused to let me attend. What a joke. Once they were driven out of business, they then turned me and many others into a debt collector for a past due annual membership which I never signed up for. I don't even live in Arizona but was on vacation and tried a drop in class. Pathetic grifters, congrats on your failed business. read more

Worst spin studio I've ever been to. The bikes are often dirty and many are broken or not working properly. On top of that, I've been incorrectly charged the $20 no-show fee multiple times even though I checked in. Getting a refund is always a hassle and requires emailing management and waiting forever for them to fix their mistake. Definitely not worth the frustration when there are much better studios out there. read more

This studio is not closed. Like Norterra and The 101 it is owned by a person who does not care at all. The instructors are consistently great but there is always something wrong. The bikes don't work the monitors don't work. The mic doesn't work. The music doesn't work. They have one job- cycling classes. Their instructors deserve better. I look forward to finding a new workout home. The owner doesn't care about anything except the bottom line. read more

I went to my first spin class here a few days ago during their grand re-opening, and wow, was it amazing! It was an instructor roulette class, which was so fun, as each instructor gets to put their own "spin" on the class for a few minutes each. All of the instructors were energetic, upbeat, happy, personable, friendly and accommodating. The energy of the class was tremendous, and wow, their new Stages bikes are sooooo nice!! No saddle soreness the next day. The location is convenient for me, and the classes are reasonably priced. I bought a membership. They do not hassle or use high pressure tactics to sell you on anything. They let the class and the facility do the talking. I'm no novice on a bike. I've done Ironman, and placed podium overall in some local sprint triathlons. But this class whooped me, in a good way. I'm not in great cycling shape at the moment, but these classes will definitely help get me back there. The energy is so positive. You leave with a smile on your face and endorphins flowing freely. The facility was remodeled. It's super clean, and really nice. I can't say enough great things about this place or its wonderful instructors and staff. Best spin studio in town! read more

CYCLEBAR - They even decorated a locker for me :) - Cycling Classes Near Me - Scottsdale, Arizona

I really wanted to try this place and I showed up a few minutes early and they wouldn't let me in. Then I asked kindly if they would not mark it as a missed session as I'd get charged an extra but they didn't care. In over 500 various fitness classes I've taken over the last EIGHT years, I've never been to such an unfriendly studio. I guess I won't be back anytime soon and I'll check this one off my list for good. The least they could have done is not marked it as a missed class since I was there and did arrive before the scheduled time. As the other one star reviews state on here, they aren't that friendly. read more

Came to CYCLEBAR Scottsdale for a bachelorette party RIDE.. needless to say it was nothing short of AMAZING! The store was clean and stocked with water, snacks, toiletries, etc. Workers were so welcoming, helpful, and encouraging. They were quick to help and attentive to our needs. I have spent my fair share of going to different spin studios (I'm from Orange County) and this one crossed off every box. I have even been to local CycleBars to me and CB Scottsdale is by far the best one I have been to. The saddle room was nice and big. It had about 50 bikes and each one was booked. I love full classes because it adds to the energy and gives me a better workout (I thrive off of other people!) We took Alli's class and it was AWESOME. Her music was so fun and had a great beat, challenging but not too hard. I have also been to MANY other spin classes where I was not pushed enough, bland music, and COLD rooms (I like a good sweat)-- hers was the opposite. another thing to note: The music for our class was not extremely profane. I'm sure some songs had some cuss words but I didn't even notice. I used to be an AVID spin class attendant but suddenyl stopped when my spin studio was playing extremely raunchy music. I loved the classes but the music was a hard deal breaker. Just for anyone who may be curious at all... TLDR; the music in class was appropriate-- enough where I would feel comfortable bringing my mom or a friend from church. I am soo so happy we took her class and had this memory for our trip. And slightly bummed because I wish I lived closer!!! Until next time CB Scottsdale, thanks for such a great experience! read more

On cyclebar website it states arrive 10-15 minutes before riding. I arrived 10 minutes before and was turned away and suggested I can come back in 6 hours or the next day after purchasing a $150 unlimited membership today before my first ride because I had heard such great things. I was told I needed to be there 15 minutes before instead of 10 despite what the website said. The woman was on the phone and speaking to other riders after I got there. I gave my notice of cancellation an hour after getting my membership and still have to pay another month even though I'm not interested in ever riding with this company. Poor communication between location and website, something should be updated. read more

I really wish I had a better review to give, but I'm just so disappointed with the customer service I felt compelled to write this review. When COVID-19 started, I signed up so I can rent a bike from the store. I successfully done so, and filled out my cancellation paperwork the day I began my membership. The facts are that I was getting ready to move out of Phoenix, but I wanted a bike to do routine workouts with. I contacted Kelli who set up the checkout of the bike. That was easy, but it was quite a hassle to arrange a drop off for the bike. I was also charged a membership fee, even though I filled out the cancellation paperwork the day I signed up! I gave Kelli a full heads up that I was anticipating a PCS move, so the bike rental would be for only a month!!!! Despite me trying to reach out to her on multiple occasions, the charge is still on my account. She went complete MIA after She asked me to drop the bike off to an OPEN and UNSUPERVISED studio. I complied, and haven't heard from her since. I have disputed the charges with my bank, and currently gathering the evidence to prove that this business has been practicing unethical business. Do yourself and do not put your card on file. You will have unauthorized charges and will have to go through the headache of disputing with your bank. read more

First time at this location and really enjoyed the workout. If you have not been to a Cyclebar it's definitely worth trying out. The instructor today was great and totally kicked my butt in a great way. At Cyclebars they have cycling shoes available so its one less thing to worry about. They also have cold or room temperature filtered water which I think is awesome. Once you leave class they sometimes have a banana to grab and go as a post workout snack. read more

Fantastic staff work ethic. They had numerous staff at the front to greet you and made sure everyone was taken care of before the start of class. Holy dream workout! CycleBar definitely sets the bar high when it comes to spin classes in the Valley! I dropped-in for Holly's class yesterday. A drop-in is $25 {I would buy a package but I don't live close enough to go regularly}. I know this seems pricey for ONE spin class but it is honestly more than just spin; It is inspirational, it is a party. You walk in stressed and leave feeling like a new person! I also love how they're trying to build community and encourage you to chat with your neighbor and make new friends. They provide shoes, water bottles, lemon scented towels, fresh fruit, and more. For the competitive folk, you can see your stats on the board {don't worry, you can be disguised with a fun nickname} and it will push you beyond your limits. OR, you can just cruise and party along at a steady pace, it is up to you! This is why I love spin. Every ride is individual, you can take the instruction or do whatever you feel like. After the class, CycleBar immediately emails you your rank in the class, and all of the stats that you could want to know! The best part, they even send you your instructor's PLAYLIST! Yup, pretty darn cool! They're opening more locations throughout the Valley so be sure to see if there is one near you! I can't wait for the 7th street location to open at The Colony! See you soon, CycleBar! read more

I recently was in town and wanted to keep up with my spin classes. I contacted CycleBar asking if I could drop in for a class even though I was from out of town. They quickly responded with yes! I had never tried CycleBar before as we don't have this company where I live so I was excited to check it out. Everyone could not have been more nice and welcoming. You check in via iPad and grab your spin shoes then walk around the corner to stow your items in a locker - it was so easy! They do provide a towel on your assigned bike. Elias was my instructor and he was awesome! He made the class fun and motivating. I would definitely recommend you check them out at this location! read more

This was my first time trying a live spin class, and I've got to say, I had an absolute blast. I heard about this location going through a Re-Grand Opening (they just finished up some renovations and added brand new bikes) and thought it would be the perfect opportunity to try something new. Madison was the instructor during the 45-minute session, and she was phenomenal at keeping the energy high, giving shoutouts (including this being my first CycleBar ride) and motivating everyone in the studio to push themselves to their goals. I've done a few Peloton rides inside a home, however those instructors don't deliver the encouragement and excitement that Madison was able to provide to the 30+ riders we had in the studio. The class I took was on a Friday morning which was honestly the best way to start off the weekend. Their new bikes are really great too, and I especially loved atmosphere that CycleBar creates for the community and those in attendance. I had a fabulous workout and look forward to taking more classes at the McCormick Ranch location soon! read more

I am not writing this review based on the classes but based on the practice of what happens if you have an issue. Please read what you sign. I loved the classes and was only able to go for 5 rides before I started having issues and found out I need surgery. Obviously, because of that I cannot cycle for a while. When I tried to freeze my account was told it would cost $15 a month to keep you account frozen. Because of that I decided to cancel as to not knowing how long I need before I could go back. Once I cancelled I was charged an additional 2 months plus $20. I enjoyed the classes and had every intention of going back but after being charged $257.00 for 5 rides. I just feel that is a bit much for a unexpected medical problem. Do yourself and do not put your card on file. read more

Reviewing based off of my covid experience - No mask requirement for riders which I can understand but wish bikes were spaced out more. I would suggest utilizing the parking lot as other studios have. No masks, felt like less than 6 feet apart, riders breathing heavily... did not feel entirely safe. In LA the cyclebar requires masks (they hand out free face shields as well) and bikes are distanced at CDC recommendations. Otherwise class was great - loved the energy and the workers were very helpful as it was my first ride here. read more

I am in town for a few weeks and was looking for a local studio. I signed up for the free class they advertise on their website, for this location. I was looking forward to trying the class and if I liked it purchasing a package for a handful of classes to use while I'm in Scottsdale as I desperately miss my spin bike when I'm away from home. I received a call shortly after registering for the class and all was great until I mentioned I was from out of town. The gentleman I spoke to advised the promotion was for local residents only. I told him I didn't see that disclaimer on their site. He LIED and said it was on the left of the questionnaire I filled out. I thought maybe I missed it. I've attached a picture. No where does it state that, I even read through the terms and it was no where to be found. I understand the studio is in business to make a profit but doing so by lying shows the lack of integrity. He didn't even let me explain I would potentially be signing up for a handful of classes; instead he gave me the option to pay $29 for what they advertise as free. Very disappointing as I will be back in Scottsdale area in July for 3 more weeks. I hope to find another studio with a more transparent approach in the area. Note, I've travelled all over the country and have at least 3 friends that have ended up signing up to studios I tried and recommended in their area. read more

Constant turnover in management and instructors. They also don't have proper ventilation in the studio so they put this huge fan in the room that Blows cold air directly on the bikes. I joined the studio in 2020 and they never did that when they had consistent management. The room wasn't hot and never needed a fan. Very annoying. read more

If you want your ass handed to you at 6AM, then CycleBar is the right place for you! We took a 45-minute ride with Holly and it didn't disappoint. Just know, she's a ball of energy and will make you sweat and do things you probably didn't want to do first thing in the morning, but you'll feel amazing and accomplished once you've finished. Though the instructors are there to push you, they always encourage you to go at your own pace/level so that you're not overdoing it and potentially hurting yourself, I'm always happy when they repeat that reminder throughout a class. The facility is super clean and I love that lockers and towels are readily available for you to use. The bathrooms were tidy and everyone was there to help you find what you needed so you had the best possible experience while in their hands. I'll for sure be back! read more

The front desk lady was completely rude when I came in to ask a couple questions about sessions and memberships while I was walking around the plaza. She acted as if she didn't want to be there. The girls at the front are warm and friendly, and the instructors are great. The workouts can't be beat! I am sort of in awe at all of the comments people are making about them not being COVID compliant. I think every business is trying to handle this in the best way that they can, and this location is no different. You can tell they are trying! The only reason I give 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the bikes. I used to come here a few years ago and obviously, the bikes were in mint condition. They need some real TLC at this point. The knobs are tough to turn and adjust. I had embarrassing issues getting my bike to the correct settings, but the instructor was super sweet and helped me more than once. Other than that - this location is a great spot to get a sweaty workout in! read more

This was my first Spin experience, and the staff was amazing!! They adjusted my seat to my height and arm length, and went over all the gadgets with me. I've never much been into cycle until this place. I absolutely love it! I've tried it with several instructors but Amy is my favorite. She's super high-energy. I love her music choices, and I feel like she challenges me the most. They have specialty classes, connect, and classic. I prefer the classic or possibly the special ones depending on what they are. With connect, usually the monitors are off and I feel less like I'm pushing myself... which is possibly the point. Regardless, this place has had me coming back again and again! read more

It's a bummer that I have to write this, but I fear that other's may have the same experience I did. I bought an 8-pack and really thought I was going to make this place my permanent studio, however, there are two things that were very frustrating: 1) Zero customer service, the phone number goes to a voicemail which will not yield a callback. 2) They have an extremely arrogant and insensitive instructor who uses extremely vulgar language, makes very insensitive comments (she once referenced a hurricane that destroyed an entire country as inconvenient to her travel plans...people died, lady. Seriously.), drops an F-bomb every other word, and talks about how wasted she got the night before literally every class I attended. She plays off this persona of no filter and not caring...I'm not sure that is the best example to set for people attending a fitness class. Dear Corporate, her name rhymes with Jayme. I cannot imagine the corporate franchise office thinking this is good behavior...let alone the individual franchise owner. read more

Amazing class by Holly. The Throwback Thursday tunes were on POINT! I love the why she adds so much choreography into her rides, it makes it interesting. The studio is wonderful , clean and bright! I like how dark the cycle studio gets which means you can get into the zone. A few things I would suggest : get new shoes; they're pretty old, have more people working the front desk, I can tell she was overwhelmed when 5-10 new people came in and she needed to check everyone is and explain it to them. Overall the studio was welcoming and awesome! I'll for sure return. read more

I am from San Diego, and we have a Cyclebar in an area here called Hillcrest that I LOVE. I frequently look for Cyclebar when I travel because I love their establishments... and I am not in the business of giving bad reviews- but this studio has been beyond frustrating to get in touch with. I called this Cyclebar looking to book a "Bride Ride" for my best friend's bachelorette I am putting together and started this process in October. I have seen it done at other locations and it is so cute! But it took over a month just to have the manager call me back to tell me the scheduling would not be possible until December. Totally understandable, I thought... Because it was so far ahead in February. But I called every week in December to communicate, with ZERO response. It is January. And I finally got them via email- only for them to respond with the schedule for THAT week; instead of reading my email to see that I was inquiring about February. And when I responded asking for what I needed, again, they continued to ghost me again. I am thrilled to redo this review or even remove it once I receive a response... but all I want is to bring 8 girls to this studio I know is so great in other locations. And so far this location has NOT proven to be anything like the rest.... Would give one star- but that'll be TBD. read more

After months of fighting trying yet another fitness facility (I am a member of too many already), I finally bit the bullet and got my ass to a class at this CycleBar location... I met my friend Shana A for a 6am Cyclebar Ride this past Tuesday. It was a special ride with "Chainsmokers vs Coldplay" music taught by Jes. When I walked in, I was greeted promptly by both Holly and Jes. They gave me a quick tour and answered my questions, got me set up with water and a locker and then helped make sure I was comfortable with the bike, etc... The studio itself is clean and high tech. I love that they offer lockers that actually lock, water bottles with both cold and room temp water, fresh fruit, and while I didn't use them this time, they have shower facilities too + towels! I have my own cycle shoes, but for those that don't they have those as well. The class was killer - it's just the right balance of fun and competitive for those that want it. I like how you can see where you rank compared to the rest of the class on occasion, but that's not the sole focus. The bikes themselves are great too... the computer showing your RPM is helpful. After class, you get a personalized email with your "cyclestats." Nice touch, CycleBar! During this first visit, I ranked 10th in class and burned 304 calories. I'll hope to beat those numbers next time! I signed up for a 3 class package, so I'll look forward to visiting again soon. read more

I have been taking classes here for about a year and I'm completely obsessed with this workout! When I workout on my own, I get bored after about 20-30 minutes. This workout is so challenging, but really fun at the same time. The music and the motivating instructors make the time fly by! Recently, I started taking Holly's Monday class at 5:30 (DJ ride w/ Blossom). The DJ mixes some awesome music and it feels like you're dancing at the club! Holly is one of my favorite instructors - she incorporates a lot of upper body work in addition to the one song with the weighted bar (i.e. Push-ups, cross-body punches). All of the instructors are AMAZING and the workout always kicks my butt, but Holly kicks it up another notch! Another one of my favorite classes is the Hip Hop Sunday service with Katie! Not only is Katie another phenomenal instructor at cyclebar, but the hip hop playlist she has is the best! This class actually motivates me to get up and workout on a Sunday morning! As I said, I'm completely obsessed with this workout. I'm always bringing friends to try it out, and everyone is always impressed with both the clean, modern facility and the fun, challenging, full-body workout! read more
