I absolutely love this place, more during lunch then late night. The bartender Stephanie is so awesome and friendly. She always makes it a nice lunch for us. Everything we've tried here has been great. Been here a bunch of times and as always we will be back.

Found the Pour House by mistake. Lived in this area for over 50 years. Wanted to try a Burger locally so gave it a try instead of driving into Portland or Beaverton. Since then, my wife & I have been very loyal customers. Their JR. burger with onion rings, or fry's, are the best we've tasted yet. Their cook always creates a fantastic burger. The customers aren't rowdy and the bar noise is only at a slight minimum. No matter who's on duty that shift, the burger remains the same. It is, for sure, a full meal without breaking the bank. Not one negative issue with the Pour House in Saint Helens. Well worth the time to explore a fantastic burger.

So nice to have a large outdoor discs to drink tasty beer with a view. They allow bringing food in, and have a ping pong table.

Probably the best burger in town, I always go with the Pour house Jr. And it comes with a nice salad to even out your meal.

I ordered the pasta bolognese and a seasonal lemon drop, and both were genuinely the best I've ever had. The bolognese was rich and perfectly balanced, with deep, slow-cooked flavor and pasta cooked exactly right. Every bite felt thoughtful and well executed. The lemon drop was just as impressive -- bright, fresh, and not overly sweet, with a clean citrus finish that made it hard not to order another. The atmosphere strikes that ideal balance of relaxed and refined, and the service was attentive with a splash of "feels like home." Everything was clearly itemized on our bill, and there were no surprises. It's clear they care about quality and providing a complete dining experience beyond a great plate of food. Large portions, delicious food, well-made cocktails, solid service, and a unique setting compelled us to tip handsomely. It was a great experience. If you are in St. Helens, this place is worth your time. I'll absolutely be back. We left genuinely impressed!

And I knew I had to Eat it again on Saturday for a second thanksgiving. So Friday night we came down and had Klondike. And I ordered this lovely egg nog seasonal mocktail drink and then we ordered food, and I had a Mac and cheese with I believe pulled pork? Or brisket? Idk, it's some magical long cooked meat, and pickled onions and i believe I had him add a stupid amount of jalapeños cause I love spicy. I can't even tell you what my wife ordered, honestly I was so into the flavor of the food, and how savory and high quality it was.... She may as well have been invisible lol We had the best waiter, forgive me cause I can't remember his name. But his energy was radiant. And he asked me if I wanted a free refill on the nog, and I said "oh I didn't think this came with a refill, but I'd love one" he ended up grabbing one, and told me it was his mistake it actually wasn't on the free refill part, but he covered it on the house cause he saw how much I loved the first and since he had gotten my hopes up with a second he wanted to take care of me on the house.... It worked out well for him when bill came lol I love when people do this kinda stuff. Also his personality was like an infectious happiness.... Gosh I wish I knew who it was... Anyways.... The food here is awesome, and the staff is great. And I don't drink but they have a huge bar. And a Hell of a specialty cocktail list.

It's packed with maritime artifacts, tropical decor and weathered wood. Glass floats and glowing lanterns hang from the ceiling....a glowing puffer fish looks down on the patrons. Such incredible attention to detail, including a thunder and lightning effect, making you feel like you discovered a hidden Tavern filled with stories from another era. It's immersive without feeling gimmicky and the handcrafted tiki cocktails are just as memorable as the atmosphere. Im a tequila girlie so I ordered the only tequila drink, Sirens Song, my husband got the Mango Flip with Jalapeno vodka. Both were delicious!! The Sirens Song was served in a cool Octopus mug. We wandered upstairs to check out Yakimon Izakaya, a Japanese bar tucked inside Dead Man's Isle. Walking in feels like you've stepped into a tiny back alley bar in Tokyo. Every inch of the walls and shelves are packed with Japanese collectibles, vintage signs, anime figures, kaijuu memorabilia, and nostalgic treasures...tons of Godzilla! You can spend an hour just taking it all in. The atmosphere is cozy, quirky, and incredibly authentic, and with a fantastic selection of whiskey, sake & cocktails. Whether you're an anime fan, a collector, or just appreciate unique bars with tons of personality, this place is an absolute gem. It's one of those spots I'll be telling people about long after our trip to Astoria. Highly recommend both!!

I went with the Cobra's Fang it was boozy, fruity, a little spicy just as described, and served in the most perfect tiki mug (that snake face was almost too cute to drink out of). Tasted great, but like any good tiki drink, it's sneaky strong, pace yourself. They've got a fun food menu too, but I was too full to try anything sooo next time. With a drink list this deep (multiple Mai Tai riffs, a Zombie, a Volcano Bowl for the table), I'll definitely be back to work my way through it. Service was solid and they had their hands full while we were there and still took great care of us.

The area has developed quickly and having grown up nearby and moved away years ago, it's amazing to see what's happened along here. Prices - well, everyone has their hand out along here. We were in town somewhat last minute staying at Hotel Indigo. The hotel provides $10 drink coupons so we decided to drop in for an impromptu drink while planning our dinner strategy. It was already 7p so no view but live music and a nice buzzy ambiance. Wait staff were fast and friendly, and before we knew it two delicious cocktails were in front of us. At the same time, I overheard the waitress at the table beside us saying that food could be ordered from El Gaucho downstairs. So we asked for a menu and started perusing. If you don't know El Gaucho it's a classic steak restaurant with lots of cuts and sizes, a sprinkling of seafood, the usual salads, and tableside this and that. A notch above Ruth's Chris, Morton's or The Capital Grille but with Peter Luger Manhattan prices. Yes, that's right, Manhattan prices in Vancouver. WA. The Couv is all grown up. Or at least trying to be, Like Witness Tree, El Gaucho has a mandatory 20% gratuity regardless of party size. Theoretically this shouldn't be an issue if you know restaurant culture and tip appropriately but I think a mandatory fee rubs many wrong to assume service will always be at that level. And on top of very high prices. A $72 6oz filet is $86, so those 8 bites better be damn good. That said, we ordered oysters, a filet, seafood pasta, and wine. The wine list was decent but not as extensive for a premium steak restaurant. Wines had the typical markup which meant $20-35+ per glass. Both the pasta and steak were good but - and this may sound picky - at $72 for 6 ounces of steak (a bar of soap) I expect perfection which means medium rare throughout. The steak was medium in some parts. If I can achieve medium rare throughout at home it should be possible here. So here's the math (rounded) for those interested. Total bill: $295. $225 food and drinks, $45 service fee (mandatory 20%), and $24 tax (8.8%). Interestingly, the 20% service charge is taxed which means we actually paid $49 or 28.8%. Had I been given the choice of my own 20% tip it would be applied to food and drink and a slightly lower bill. Not a huge deal but these are the little details - call it "nickel and diming" patrons - that rub many wrong. One note - another server came to our table before our food arrived and placed a steak in front of me. Before he could place the other dish I told him it wasn't our order. He picked up the steak and delivered to another table. In most restaurants - and certainly in a premium setting - that dish should have been remade. Whether perception or simple hygiene you simply can't do that. All in all, the Witness Tree was a nice spot, with tasty cocktails and ambiance. Prices and service fee will be off putting for some, and not sure this would be my go-to as there are many rooftop / view options nearby.
