I really thought I'd like this place much more. It had all the desirable ingredients (for me anyway): large airy space in what looks like a converted old warehouse, lots of windows with natural light, a rustic but not dumpy vibe, a handy location on St Helens main drag, and a fairly large (if basic) menu. But a series of small annoyances left me feeling a tad grumpy rather than enthusiastic. Everything started promisingly - I was seated right away, the waiter strolled over quickly and the menu looked good. After that it became a waiting game; 15 minutes to get a glass of water and a drink order in. In that time I saw two other tables who'd walked in after me, get their entire meal served to them. I know it was lunchtime and they were fairly busy, but still. I ordered the Blackened Salmon Sandwich, which, surprisingly, came on a bun, like a burger, with the bun completely overwhelming the small-ish chunk of fish hidden inside. It came with some wilted lettuce, a sad tomato and tired raw onions. On the plus side, the salmon was great, perfectly cooked, with good texture and flavors, though swimming in way too much tartar sauce. My side salad was nothing to write home about either, with iceberg lettuce, dry cucumber slices and rock hard tomatoes. Shame, cause the place is pleasant enough, and the portions of food being served around me were huge. To be fair -- it is a pub serving pub food so I probably should've tempered expectations.

Ok. First of all, I have to commend the staff during Halloween town. This place is packed and we watched the staff work With immense speed and precision that you would think that it would mean sacrificing courtesy and service. Not at all. They are absolutely amazing. Food wise, we ordered the. Broccoli cheddar bites and it was amazing. It's like a fried casserole. 10/10, Definitely recommend I had the mushroom burger and my wife had the Plymouth burger. Both were hot, perfectly cooked and delicious. Listen Linda, If they are this great during such a busy time, I have to come back when they are on a normal week. Great good, amazing service

We're in the area for a long weekend visiting family and came with a large party for a Sunday early dinner. I ordered a beer and the 2 piece halibut fish and chips with tots. I don't like Cole slaw so I didn't eat that, but the fish was well breaded and fine. The tots were nice and crispy. I liked my beer, but I'm not entirely sure how often they clean their beer lines. My sister had the gumbo and the same Mac & Jack Amber beer and we both had severe nausea, terrible stomach cramps, and experiences I'd rather not share publicly. We should have paid more attention that our beers were a little cloudier than an amber beer should be. Our waitress was great and attentive. She was friendly and came around to check in on us often enough and changed one of the tvs to a game we wanted to watch. There were a lot of tvs so it was nice to be able to watch some March madness. It gave more bar and grill than pub vibes. Besides the questionable cleanliness of their beer system it was a decent experience.

Fish and chips were as good as Englands and the pumpkin spice White Russian is so yummy!

Ruben sandwich with chipotle and ranch dipping sauce. 5 out of 5 stars.

Ordered the Ruben sandwich with fries. This place makes an excellent Ruben. Highly recommend this place. They have an excellent beer selection as well.

I was pleasantly surprised by the crispy chicken sandwich. It was fresh and super crispy. I loved the pickles on it.

The bar has been open barely a year, yet somehow managed to hire staff who treat the space like their personal kingdom instead of a public establishment. One bartender in particular seems incapable of separating personal feelings from professional conduct. something that has followed her around Tigard for decades. locals will most likely recognize a pattern of pettiness, inconsistent service, and customers being 86'd not for behavior, but for existing in a way that bruises an ego. Generally speaking, the food is good and we order a whole lot for our table(s) of 6 including drinks and desserts. The kids meals are a solid value - big portions of chicken strips and fries, and another with a grilled cheese and lots of tater tots. The bougie chicken bacon alfredo mac came on a big ole plate and kid #1 who ordered it, says it is very good. Myself and a friend split a Forester burger -- it comes a side, we chose onion rings, and while the burger is great (caramelized onion and gorgonzola are a fire combination), the onion rings were way overcooked to the point there was almost no onion left in the batter lol (saaaad). Kids # 2 and 3 order happy hour mozzarella sticks, soft pretzels, and panko shrimp. Everything is good according to the children and their limited taste buds. Adults order cocktails which are light on alcohol (sad face) but heavy on delicious flavors! Desserts for 3 kids, everyone says everything is great. Beyond the hollow onion rings, our service was a bit sub-par this time around. Kid #2 spilled his entire drink and while we got some help from the server in the form of bringing more napkins to the table, server girl did nothing about the lake of dr pepper on the floor below it. It was disappointing, not gonna lie. Kids are annoying, I get it, but we had to sit with our shoes in this mess. It dried enough in some spots that our shoes were literally sticking to the ground. Server girl also forgot to put the order in for the panko shrimp sooo kid #2 thought he was being punished because he got his shrimp after everyone else practically finished their meals lol. Our tab was close to 200 bucks. I cringe super hard at the thought of paying half that bill, and tipping fairly, if only because my shoe almost came off my foot when I finally stood up to leave. Dr Pepper almost got me.
