I noticed this place awhile ago and thought I needed to try it. Well I tried it. My fiancé ordered a veggie bento and I ordered a teriyaki bento. Meh. I noticed everything came out of a crockpot. The "whole" orders were small portions and 70% rice. The only thing that made the food taste decent was the large variety of sauces the provide. The prices are too high for the quality and quantity that you get. The menu is pretty limited too. I noticed a Keureg coffee maker in the back and no coffee maker anywhere else. So if they are making your coffee with a keureg then you're spending $2.50 for that. Seems a little off Also, if you are environmentally trying to cut down on plastics or non reusable items, then you'll love this place. Styrofoam cups, plastic forks, plastic containers that I'm not sure if they reuse, plastic water bottles, and straws. Won't be back. read more

first of all Ive lived here 5 yrs and never even noticed this place.They need a big sign in the window saying terryaki not a tiny board sign on sidewalk that just says they name of the place.I was excited to stop in and get the terryaki chicken Im used to,strips of chicken smothered in terriyaki sauce. While I love the bento, I am obsessed with their Taco Soup! Great priced daily specials too! Best chicken salad sandwiches around! The menu may be small, but the quality of food more than makes up for it! The tortilla soup is excellent, and the potato salad is homemade (better than my mom's, but don't tell her!) This is a great alternative to fast food if you're trying to eat healthier. I like the ladies that ventured off from the previous restaurant and started this one, they are personable and helpful but it doesn't make up for the "meh" food. So I'm going to give you ladies a few tips, because it wouldn't take much to turn this place into a good solid restaurant. First off, stop buying everything from Costco and pouring it out of a bottle. It doesn't take much effort to make your own sauces and dressings and what a difference it would make! I'm originally from Hawaii and your bentos could easily be elevated to class "A" from a c minus with your own sauces. Second off, grill your chicken breasts whole and then slice in long pieces, the small pieces make it seems like pressed chicken crap you get at McDonalds. Last, add chicken thighs to your menu and serve whole, they are very good and will elevate your dishes. Now go get em! You can do this! read more

We also wanted something a little different from the usual Ixtapa and Fredmeyer's experience. After searching for hours over Skype, via internet, we discovered the beauty that is Fork'd. We planned on arriving at exactly 12, so we awoke and prepared ourselves for the lovely meal ahead. The atmosphere was exactly what we were looking for. The service was amazing and adorable. The food was to die for. And they prepared a wonderful chai tea. If I had any complaints, I'd say that it became quite cold when people walked in and out of the restaurant. If you ask me, they should limit the amount of times customers can enter and exit the place. read more

Good food! But not always consistent. Sometimes the foods a little dry and bland, but throw some peanut sauce on there and you can hardly tell. I don't come too often, it tends to be a hit and a miss on whether or not it'll be dry or not. But 4 stars for the flavor when it's not dry! read more

This place used to be cafe 30, and they had great coffee and the best chicken Terriaki! So needless to say I was heartbroken when I drove by one day and they were closed! When fork'd opened at that location I stopped by to check it put, and to my surprise it still had a lot of the same menu items :) I enjoyed my usual yakisoba bento with "the works" and it was de-lish. Most of the staff is also the same as before, always very polite and quick. The biggest changes were that cafe 30 was bought out by a relative of the previous owner, and MAJOR upgrade in the appearance, it is very modern and pretty inside and out! They also offer some great gluten-free options, which is very rare in scappoose. Over all, the only reason for 4 stars is the stupid hours. 8-2 only on weekdays? Really?? Not only are they missing the morning coffee rush, people DO eat breakfast and lunch on the weekends! read more

I had high hopes, and will cross my fingers that this place might improve. A place named "Fork'd" invokes mental imagery of silverware, so you may be surprised to find yourself eating off of paper plates with plastic utensils. The disposables matched the food quality. The chicken teriyaki has tiny pieces of chicken with rice - no vegis at all. The omelet was made with American cheese. There were Costco muffins on the counter. This is a good alternative to Chain fast food. I might eat here again, just cause I would want to see if another dish is better. The beef bento was seasoned w something that tastes like Montreal seasoning which didn't work w the other flavors. Best homemade potato salad!!! Should say Mom-made! It tastes amazing!! I also had the chicken ranch wrap and it had a lot of excellent tasty chicken, shredded cheese, fresh lettuce and tomatoes, and a nice soft spinach wrap! So filling I couldn't eat all the wrap. My friend had the Hawaiian spicy chicken (pineapple) bento and everything was fresh and tasty too!! A definite gem in Scappoose! Very friendly and fast service! read more
