Yummy drinks Tiki tasting decor and lighting Deeeelish drinks A hidden gem for sure! Also a Japanese speakeasy upstairs WHAT! I know a hidden Mickey when I see one...and as a fellow Disney lover this place gave me tiki room/pirates/trader sams vibes! I've already texted friends to add this place to their list when visiting! Big hearts!

Great drinks and ambiance! Such a fun find and overall great service! We had the spring rolls, fried rice and Yakisoba - all really good and made fresh

I adore their special drink ceramic cup!

I enjoy my tiki drinks so I made sure to make my way here. I adore the whimsical and specially painted tiki drink vessels. I almost wanted to have everyone order a different tiki drink so I could see how they all look like. Friendly service. Food/snacks available.

Cute Tiki bar I had no idea existed. I visit Astoria at least a couple times a year and have blindly walked by this cute bar on several occasions. This day we walked by and stopped in our tracks and peeked in the door. The sweet servers behind the counter greeted us and lured us in. I had trouble deciding what drink to order. I usually don't care for time drinks because 9 out of 10 times they taste over done and poorly executed. It was suggested I try Mutant Skull plus it comes in a cool mug. I loved the cocktail Mutant Skull $14 Coconut, pineapple, banana, and guava sing behind a powerful punch of rum. I also ordered Pork Sliders $12 Korean braised pork, pickled onion, fried cabbage, spicy mayo, Hawaiian sweet roll. These sliders were so soft, moist and delicious. Great pairing with the Mutant Scull Cocktail. All in all a great visit I really enjoyed the friendly staff who gave me tips on new places to go.

We were so lucky to stop by for our first ever trip to Oregon and met Audrey who worked her magic behind the bar. The ambiance was nice, tiki statues one of a kind tiles and amazingly delicious drinks served in tiki mugs as they should. We didn't taste the food this trip but after the wonderful time there I hope we make back again. Thank you Audrey

This place was amazing. We spent new years here and it was a memorable one. If you're in Astoria go here!! Drinks and food was amazing. It had an amazing sea pirate vibe. The bartender who made our drinks was amazing.

This was a fun addition to our long-anticipated trip to Astoria, OR. Any child of the 80s knows what I mean. Adore how this fab tiki spot lovingly leans into the Goonies like Liverpool does the Beatles (if you know, you know). The decor was fun and very detailed including jade tiles handmade by the owner. While the drinks were spot on and made with great care by our bartender - may I call out how she offered almost any tail on menu (specials included) in an NA version - the food was a surprising treat. A satisfyingly warm and flavorful chicken fried rice, the meat being new to the menu. Pro tip: make sure to check out the new Japanese whiskey speakeasy upstairs - seating for 4 + standing for 2 more.

What a fun spot! Great vibes, great drinks, and great staff! The Dead Man's Grog and Mai Thai '85 were both delicious. The rum made me forgetful, so edited to add: we went on a Thursday and reservations were definitely not needed, but it wasn't empty! I wouldn't be surprised if they fill up on a Friday night.

Great place! Authentic tiki bar, using premium ingredient. Service was friendly and knowledgeable

Was looking for some fun drinks while in the area and yelped this location. The awesome cups that brought me in. Unfortunately, when I got my drink, it wasn't in a fun cup, and I was very disappointed as that is the whole reason I went to the location. A regular next to me told me that you have to ask for a special cup, which is silly, so I ended up having to ask her to pour my drink into one of the fun cups. All in all, it's a good drink, just annoyed. You have to ask for a fun cup, and don't just automatically get one. I did learn, though, that there aren't all multiples of cups due to some of the mugs being from the owners own collection.

Such a fun speakeasy vibe with themed decor. Drinks were very sweet (which I loved but some others might not) and decently priced. The dead man's grog came in such a fun container and the mango flip was delicious.

While we were already excited based on the photos online, the reality of the experience surpassed every expectation from the moment we arrived. As soon as we stepped out of the car, we were greeted by the iconic sound of sea lions barking below the pier which immediately set a perfect maritime tone for our stay. The service began with a level of care that was truly impressive. The staff valeted our car and even ensured it was fully charged while parked, which was such a thoughtful and convenient touch. Heidi handled our check in with such warmth and professionalism that we felt like honored guests right away. We were delighted to be upgraded to a suite and the accommodations were stunning. One of the highlights was having the sauna pods right outside our door on the pier. It was an invigorating and peaceful experience that made the stay feel like a luxury retreat. The atmosphere at night is absolutely magical. Watching the cargo barges drift by while they are fully lit up is a beautiful sight and the historical trolley runs right outside the hotel for easy exploration. The location is perfectly placed within walking distance to a variety of excellent restaurants, coffee shops, and local activities. We really could not have asked for a more seamless or memorable trip to Astoria.

The location is beautiful and very easy to walk to most of town, which is eclectic and fun. The hospital is walkable from there, 20 min. Don't count on taxis. They have a restaurant called The Knot. We didn't try any of their food, but I did have the tomatoes bisque soup 2x. It was delicious. The beds are super marshmallow soft. Appearances are not deceiving, that's all that there is. Plus, without the "wall o liquor" behind the bar, they are not going to make you "that cocktail you had once in the Bahamas" or even a whisky sour. Their boundaries are much tighter than that. But what they can do within those boundaries! They have charted a course through the heritage of the region, the Scandinavian taste for Akavit, and a flair for adventurous tastes and subtle flavors. And, every cocktail on the menu, has a story that goes with it! I can only speak to the two we ordered (this was a nightcap, not a bender) but they were clever, tasty, wholly unique in my experience, and not crazy expensive ($15 and $16). Apparently, a reported haunting and paranormal investigation led to the creation of "The Veil is Thin" described in the menu as a "Spicy Experimental Margarita." I am a lover of the things that come from the blessed Agave, so this is what I ordered. It arrives an the glass in the picture with a shot glass of fresh squeezed lime juice alongside. This is for the "magic trick" that takes place when you pour the lime into the glass. I won't spoil it for you, but it's not the dumbest trick I've ever seen, it works as a part of the experience. The ingredients are, now follow along in your hymnals children, house infused red cabbage tequila (!), Combier, fresh lime juice, Hell Fire bitters, dragon fruit garnish (not present in mine), black lava salt, white pepper and rose petal rim. It was spicy (especially in the aftertaste), sweet, with the heat of the white pepper and black salt on the rim. On top of that, it was a good Margarita to boot. It was an excellent cocktail and a nice, fresh take on a classic. The prohibition history of the area leads us to the Long Beach Iced Tea. With Vodka, Rum and sweet vermouth, you've got the basics, but then you elevate that with fresh lemon juice, house infused Earl Grey simple syrup, soda and then, of all things a garnish of fresh (bruised) thyme and it becomes something entirely different. You're not going to get hammered, which is what I expect from the Long Island version, but you are also not going to miss the aroma of the thyme making the drink that much better. The floral bergamot from the tea syrup takes you in a different direction and the fizz keeps the aroma flowing out of the glass. It's delicious, subtle, and worth repeating. They can accommodate larger parties by just expanding into the Broder Strand dining room, which is what happened when a boisterous group of celebrating women came in looking for a new stop on their bar tour. One of them even requested a custom drink and was, by all reports, delighted with the results. We have one more night, and I don't think we'll miss having another nightcap here. You should definitely check it out!
