But what I was most happy about was to learn that they ship FedEx, UPS, DHL, and USPS. So it's truly a one-stop shipping place. No need to go to all the other individual places. Today I was in real need to have copies made for an early morning appointment. It may seem such a meager task, yet, to accomplish this task my time was short and my money even shorter. So, I scanned the Net to find a nearby copy service and PostNet was in the race. I entered the shop, was graciously met, and requested copies to be made. Great customer service! They are very fast and is the best place for printing needs.

For some reason, I'm always running around town when someone calls me and asks me to scan something they just sent me and for me to send it back right away. I was at the bank when this all happened but I didn't have to look far because on Yelp the closest place to get my scanning done was luckily in the same strip mall. Walked in this afternoon and was the only customer in there. Yay! Instant service baby. I was quickly helped by two very nice women, one being the owner. One of the ladies took my stack of papers, scanned it, emailed it to me, rung me up and sent me on my way. This is exactly the kind of service I like. Friendly, quick and easy, no hassle, in and out. And as an added bonus, there was plenty of parking in front and all around the center. In addition, besides the quick service, one of the things I really liked about this place was the menu that was clearly posted behind the counter. I've been coming here periodically for about 5 years. Up until this point all I've done is mail letters or whatnot - but now recently I've mailed some packages. One was a A/V Receiver. Heavy, bulky, and electronic. I can pack a box, but getting it there in a crumpled mess is a different story. So I just took it in and told em where to send it. The bill wasn't pretty, but I didn't expect it to be a coupon clipper deal either. With that said, the staff was pretty good to me. So the first time I walked into this place I was quite annoyed. I got a slip to pickup my package here. I walked in and was asked for ID. Since my ID is out of state you need another form of identification (water bill, electric) with the address. Obviously did not get my package at the time. I walked in the next day with everything I needed and was able to get my package. I know it's policy and had got over my annoyance really quick. I've been in customer service for all my life and know they're just doing their job. Since then, I've gone in once and the staff is always nice and welcoming. Sometimes mistakes build relationships - which is what happened in my case. I needed some gift tags printed for real estate client gifts, and Postnet had trouble with the PDF involuntarily flipping upside down on them, and we couldn't get it right! This use to be my staple go to for business cards and flyers. I went in and the friendly owners had sold the place. I decided to give the new owner a chance. I ordered some pretty standard business cards and it took her a week to get the proofs. There were simple editing mistakes through out my business cards such a bolding in random places no phone number just to list a few. So an entire 3 weeks spent on this. When I finally went to pick up the business cards she charged me twice as much as her previous quote. I never received an email or phone call about the new price. All the editing problems were actually caused by her not proofreading the information. Needless to say I won't be back. Hey if anyone knows where I can get some good business cards let me know? Great staff work at this location. Friendly and easy to interact with. They offer fingerprinting services in addition to PO boxes, printing and shipping services. The only real negative about this place is that it is small and can feel crammed with 3-4 people in there for services. Otherwise its a solid place. read more

After posting my honest review (see below) the owner Fred decided to give me a stern talking to...AKA passive aggressive message...assessing my ability to make decisions, mocking my willingness to pay more than double the cost of postage, and quoting Bobby Brown. ..."We do realize that perception is reality and that your expressed decision not to return is based upon a feeling and not a conscious decision. There isn't much we can do about that except to acknowledge that what we offer is not what you demand or are willing to pay for and that making that choice is certainly your right and prerogative." Fred Z - Owner Original Review: I was charged $2.40 for a $1.15 postage stamp. On what planet would charging a fee of over 100% be reasonable? I highly recommend that customers are advised of this service fee. I paid thinking my stamp needed to be $2.40, I feel bamboozled. This is in Chandler so it's not like I need the "convenience" of this place...there are post offices with self service kiosks everywhere. Had to downgrade from 4 to 1 star due to the new ownership. Bill helped design my business card & edits in 2016 for free. I placed my first order with the new owners in 02/2017 and they also did free updates (as Bill had). I paid $69.99 + tax for 1000 two-sided cards (shiny front, matt back). Went to order another 1000 05/17... enlarged the font, added a space above the bottom line and darkened the blue on three words. They quoted the same $69.99 but added $10 for edits. I explained I hadn't been charged for edits previously and would have appreciated being told first. Janine called and said it was always their policy, didn't know why I wasn't charged in Feb (blah, blah, blah)... but the $10 stands. $10 is fair. However, it's not appropriate to tack it on after the fact, when a customer hasn't been charged before, or to lie about it after. The amount of time wasted over $10 lousy bucks says it all... who does this? P.S. Get everything in writing, folks... read more

The Postnet store has gone way downhill since the previous owners, Fred and Karin, retired. First they changed their hours, so it isn't as convenient. I've been using the 2 UPS stores on Alma School a lot, but wanted to spread my business around, so took an international pkg for them to mail, which was $32 for items worth about $10. Was I surprised when it was returned "insufficient address!" Even tho the sticker I had provided, and was still on the package, had the complete address, the previous Postnet clerk couldn't squeeze it all in, so left part of it out. When I took it in today to have them redo it, what a surprise, the new clerk was able to squeeze in all the info! She felt like they would pick up the tab for the bad address, but no, the manager said they wouldn't. On top of that, the UPS store quoted me $10 less to ship! That will be my last time in the store... read more

Fred has been great. I've been shipping quite a lot lately; even though my $3.95 Certified mail cost me over $7! I can see making a profit, but come on. Now I'm done using their services, the lady there is sneaky and rude. I asked for a piece of tape and she charged me $2(without telling me upfront) for her tape services. I printed out a label (.25) that now cost me $2 when she printed it out. Not an honest business. I won't be returning. read more
