Half Prosciutto & Brie Panini with Cesar Salad
    Tina O.

If you follow me you will know I am from Santa Clarita California. We took a two week trip beginning in Denver and ending in Jackson Hole Wyoming. After spending a couple of days in Highlands Ranch/Denver area and seeing a great Rockies/Dodger game we began our sojourn to Estes Park and the Rocky Mountain National Park. Our first stop to Estes Park was Boulder. As it turned out, is was move-in weekend at Colorado University so it was a bit busy. We found street parking near Posino's and decided to stop in for lunch. The hostess was very nice and found us a small table outside even though it was very busy. Our server was a University grad student from back east. She was helpful and cheerful. We placed our order based on her recommendations and I am so glad we did. We started with the SKEWERS off the Snacky Things section. It was 2 skewers: one grilled steak & one chicken , with sicilian garlic yogurt and olive oil sauce. This is worth going back for! We then split a PROSCIUTTO & BRIE Panini and ceasar salad. They happily split it for us and gave us each our own plate. It was lovely. The panini was filled with prosciutto di parma, brie, fig jam, arugula, balsamic vinegar and olive oil. Another winner. If you venture to Boulder, on vacation or visiting your child/student, be SURE to try Postino's. They are known for their Boards which looked awesome as well!

My husband ordered the avocado toast with extra eggs. I can't even remember what mine was called.

We're not from around here and we were looking for a brunch spot... This is definitely a bar that also has a few brunch items. Our waiter was super nice, and the food was decent. But I definitely would not pick this again. Very light on the portions. I was also disappointed that they do not have any espresso options. Just regular coffee.

My husband and I come here about once a month, and we've never been disappointed. It has definitely become one of our favorite spots in Boulder. The atmosphere is always warm and lively, but still relaxed enough to enjoy a nice dinner and conversation. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, and the food has been consistently delicious every time we've visited. We especially love the bruschetta and the Table Cheese board everything tastes fresh is beautifully presented, and is perfect for sharing. I also really like that there are so many different bruschetta options to choose from, so we can try something different each time. They have a great wine selection as well, with plenty of options to try, and happy hour is always a nice bonus. Overall, it's a great place for a casual date night, good food, and a glass of wine. We always have a good time here and will definitely keep coming back!

This is my third time at a Postino location so I knew the food would be good in a quirky setting. They always have some different items on their long wall in the rear of their place and at this location, they had a collection of old roller skates hanging up. Fun! For our meal, I chose a Bruschetta board with 4 different options (all fresh and flavorful). My partner chose the Italian Beef dip panini. Service was quick and our waitress was friendly.

Stopped by needing some fuel after a long flight into town. It had a nice buzz to it. The boards were very popular but big so we didn't border it for the table. Instead I got the pick two with a half a French drip sandwich and potato soup. The soup was the clear winner. Chock full of potato and bacon, it was just perfect for a cool fall day. The sandwich was fine. The au just a bit bland. Service was good though it took a bit to get our drinks. Cozy interior. A good place for lunch for sure.

The food was good, ALEX WAS GREAT. He complimented us, he was tall, pretty, handsome, and beautiful. Promote him to CEO immediately. If you don't the business will die. Alex holds the world in the palm of his hands yet is so humble. Fr tho he was awesome.

The service is prompt and pleasant. The atmosphere is very casual and comfortable and a busy. There's a limited selection of craft brews. My IPA was smooth and offered a hint of citrus that was pleasantly subtle.

First stop on my Colorado trip was lunch at Postino in Boulder. They are located in a cute part of the city surrounded by a mix of boutiques and brand businesses, which was nice to walk around after. I got the beer works pale ale pint which was delicious. However, their happy hour promo of $6 pitchers wasn't honored for the smaller pint size which was weird because there was no way I would have finished a whole pitcher by myself. I wish I could have just had the pint for $6 but was charged $8. We split the Prosciutto and Bri sandwich with side salad as well as their grilled cheese and tomato soup. The prosciutto sandwich was one of the best paninis I had and the ingredients went well with the fig jam. The grilled cheese was made well, but I wished the tomato soup was served hotter. Another note was their bathroom situation with the door handle locks needs to be fixed as I spent an awkward 10 minutes waiting for the restrooms which were locked from the inside. Servers were super great and chill overall!

House made chips were great. I think we ate them all!

A photo of the OMG Grilled Cheese and soup is what brought us here and we were not disappointed! I'm not a brie fan, but I quite enjoyed it nonetheless. Worked great with the tomato soup. The housemade Ruffles-style chips were great - not greasy or too salty like Ruffles. We also ordered a Bruschetta board as we didn't realize how much food that would be for the 2 of us. Doh! So we didn't finish all the choices but the Salami and Pesto was the favorite of each of us.

Excellence place to get a snack and a drink. Upscale atmosphere. The bruschetta is amazing. Service is very friendly.

Back to my home town on the way back from RMNP. Thanks to fellow Yelpies for doing a recent review for this location and wanted to try out for myself. I Still had fond memories of my visit to Postino on Colorado Blvd (Postino9CO) during Yelp event. Got the Bruschetta Board (choose 4). A smoked salmon and also two other options. $6 glass of wine till 5 pm everyday was a crowd pleaser. Loved the cab served cold. Didn't take much time to warm up either. $6 pitcher of beer till 5 pm was also an eye catcher. I think you can get two pints out of it. Overall, awesome ambiance, fast and friendly service. Drink and food served on timely basis. Definitely will be back and will even try going back to Postino9CO location.

We stopped by Postino in Boulder for brunch around 10:30 AM on a Sunday. When we arrived, the restaurant was pretty quiet, with only 1 or 2 other tables occupied. Despite that, we were told that they cannot seat parties of 5 or more on the patio, which struck us as a strange policy, especially given how empty it was. Something to keep in mind if you're hoping for a larger outdoor brunch gathering. Service: 2.5/5 Our experience started off promising while the restaurant was still quiet. But as it got busier, service noticeably dropped off. Our server disappeared for long stretches, and it became difficult to flag anyone down. On top of that, we received two incorrect orders, which is concerning given that the restaurant wasn't slammed at the time. I'm not sure if the errors were due to the server or the kitchen, but either way, mistakes like this during a relatively slow period are hard to excuse. The unwillingness to allow a basic substitution (more on that below) also added to the frustration. Drinks: Mimosa, 3/5 Classic and as expected. Refreshing but nothing standout. Espresso Martini, 2.5/5 A bit of an odd flavor I couldn't quite place. Not terrible, but not something I'd order again. Food: Bruschetta Board, 5/5 Shareable, fresh, and flavorful. You get to choose 4 options, we picked: Brie, apple & fig spread - Excellent Prosciutto, fig & mascarpone - Excellent Burrata, bacon, arugula & tomato - Solid, but I'd try a different one next time Spicy sweet potato - Seasonal special and very tasty... though we were given the seasonal dessert option by mistake instead, so had to fix this. West coaster panini, 2/5 Ingredients sounded promising, but the execution fell flat. Nothing memorable, and the side couldn't be subbed for tots (even with a surcharge), which felt unnecessarily rigid. PREAM bowl with steak, 5/5 (eventually) Delicious when it arrived, but we were first brought the chicken version, so we had to wait about 10 extra minutes for the correct order. The steak itself was tender and flavorful. Would absolutely order again (correctly the first time, hopefully!). Raspberry chicken salad, 3/5 Decent, fresh, and as advertised. Not much more to say, just not a standout. Meatball shakshouka, 5/5 A pleasant surprise from the brunch menu. Rich flavors, tender meatballs, and those house-made tots are so good. One of the best dishes we tried. Overall: 3/5 Postino has a solid brunch menu with some great dishes. I'd definitely consider coming back for the food alone. However, the overall experience was marred by inconsistent service, order errors, and some odd inflexibility with seating and substitutions. If they can smooth out those issues, it has the potential to be a go-to brunch spot in Boulder. But as it stands, it's a bit of a mixed bag.

My half of the table ended up ordering one of everything in the hot tapas section of the menu and two pitchers of sangria. The tomato crostini was so nice and crisp. The focaccia was toasted to perfection, the slow roasted tomatoes had a bright and rich flavor, and the olive oil drizzled on top pulled all the flavors together. The meatballs were incredibly flavorful. Everyone loved the croquettes, which were nice and fluffy inside. The baked goat cheese was incredibly creamy and the honey gave it a wonderful sweetness. It was delicious on top of the slices of baguette they were served alongside of. The champinones/mushrooms were just alright to me -- they had a dark, earthy flavor but I wish it had a more complex flavor profile. I felt similarly about the fried artichoke hearts. The lamb sausage was delicious and had a nice heat to them. We were also served bacon wrapped dates, but I found the dates to be too sticky and sweet. We also ordered every dessert - caramel flan, basque cheesecake, and chocolate cake. I found the caramel flan disappointing. I prefer my flan to be more solid, but this one was mostly cream that was melting on the dish once you dug into it. The cake was good and paired well with the ice cream and candied almonds it was served with. The basque cheesecake was also okay, but I think I enjoyed the apricots it was served with more than the actual cake. Overall, very beautiful restaurant with great tapas.

And both the server with great glasses and the other with an adorable dimple, made the whole experience delightful!! And the food was priceless. So much thought in each detail. The pastry chef, Annaliese (?) put such care into each dish. The finger limes on basil panna cotta with arugula gelee were a real chef's kiss. The mussels with tuile toasts and baby cornflowers (that we watched Chef sprinkle with tweezers) was beyond! My favorite pairing was the sea bream with baby gourds and champagne. As everyone's photos attest, this is an art form!!! Loved from the first bite potato puff with caviar to the last grappa truffle. Mostly it will be the warmth and smiles that are remembered!! The platings were quite beautiful. The wine pairings were a delight. My expectations were set high, as their many accolades suggest. We both got the full experience with their friulano tasting menu. And also added on the caviar course. That may have been the only highlight of the meal. And I say that because the cheesy potato it was served on was absolutely delicious, although it was an odd pairing for the flavors of caviar which did not elevate the caviar in any way. The cheesy potatoes seemed clunky and too rustic to enhance the caviar. It would have been better served with a red meat or heartier protein. After that, absolutely nothing stood out to me as being uniquely delicious. The squid ink pasta was a major let down as the squid ink was so overpowering in the balance of the dish. Probably my least favorite course, although even that is debatable. This was a very salty dish, the first of many to come. One of the major takeaways from the meal as a whole, was how overly seasoned everything was. I am a salt fanatic and I really enjoy salt, however nothing seemed balanced when it came to salt. Just way too salty on several courses. Almost as if their proteins had been in a brine just a little too long. Although that's just a guess.... I'm glad I had the opportunity to try this restaurant however I would not go back again. It has been my experience that some places, once they earn James beard and Michelin recognition, almost give up. As in point Joel Robuchon, who lost their Michelin status. Highlighting more locally grown, seasonally harvested ingredients and showcasing them to their fullest potential in unique and innovative ways is much more impressive than caviar on cheesy potatoes. Btw, the cheesy potatoes, if served in a smaller portion, would have been an excellent accompaniment to the very salty red deer course. The desert course looked pretty and some elements were good, however not innovative nor original. Quite the lackluster afterthought, which again, was subpar.

I came here for dinner with my husband for a work dinner and our party had seven people total. The Kitchen had a modern and rustic feel to it and the server was quick to show us to our table once our party arrived. We weren't really sure where to start, so a server recommended a few dishes for us to share and everyone ended up picking 1-3 dishes each. We started with a few appetizers: carrots which were slow roasted until they were tender and served on a bed of fluffy, whipped feta, crispy cauliflower which was fried until the exterior was nice and crunchy and served alongside tender carrots and a sweet tamarind chutney. My husband ordered a rigatoni which doused in a fresh bolognese, slices of parmesan, and fragrant herbs. We also had scallops as per the waiter's recommendation, but we were disappointed when only two scallops came out. It would have been nice if the waiter had mentioned that there would only be two scallops served, especially knowing that our party had 7 people. We also had crab fried rice, which I wasn't much of a fan of due to the saltiness of the dish. I ended up ordering the trout, which seemed to be a favorite around the table because of the crispiness of the skin. The sweetness of the candied pine nut crumble contrasted so nicely with the fish and the creaminess of the dashi yogurt paired well with everything. We also ordered a few meat dishes: pork belly which was incredibly fatty and tender and had a sweetness due to the brown sugar curing, espresso-rubbed wagyu skirt steak which ended up being fairly disappointing to everyone (the marbling of the wagyu steak wasn't quite as rich and fatty as I'd expect for a wagyu), and a double-cut pork chop, which was also incredibly tender and delicious. We also ordered a side of fries and everyone was so surprised by how large and thick the fries were, although it wasn't too different from other fries you could order elsewhere. It was a fun and interesting experience eating here, although I'm not sure I'd recommend it as it's rather pricey. It's fun to eat with a large party, though. The service can also be incredibly slow. It took a while for us to get the check or to flag down staff to inquire about the menu. We also had to fill our own water, which was a little disappointing considering the price point of the restaurant.

After a lovely day walking around Boulder, the Husband searched through Yelp and found Brasserie…read moreTen Ten as a nice option just a couple blocks off Pearle Street. We walked in without reservations on a Saturday evening and was lucky to have the option of dining inside or out. We were seated in the corner, which was fine except for the flies that would get trapped against the window and buzz right around us. There weren't really any other tables in the middle of the restaurant available, so we sucked it up. During the day, it was very brightly lit. But once the sun goes down, it doesn't become very dark. We were given menus by the hostess, but there was a slight delay with water service and what not. Eventually, our waiter did come by to talk a bit more about the menu. (I should note that the table was only set for a party of two and we were a party of four. So, it wasn't until our first dish arrived did they notice that we were missing tableware and plates for the rest of our party.) We mentioned that we'll be sharing a bunch of things, so this is what we ordered: The food came quickly and we did have to make room immediately. I do wish they would have paced it a bit better though. * Beet Salad $15 - They were kind enough to split this in two plates right off the get go. Since it's called a Beet Salad, I did expect a bit more beets than what was given. 3/5 * Roasted Bone Marrow $16 - This was a gorgeous presentation with three bone marrow halves topped with a little red trout roe. The accompanying buttered crusty bread was just wonderful. Although not everyone enjoyed the fig vinegar, I loved this dish! 5/5 * Fried Anchovy Stuffed Olives $12 - My mistake was seeing "fried anchovy", so I was surprised when the olives showed up. It was a lot of salt on salt. It was just okay for us and was the last thing on our table. 2/5 * House Pâté $18 - Another wow dish! The house pate was delicious! The Little Gal pretty much planted that in front of her so she could just focus on that. We did need to order more bread to enjoy all of the pate though. 5/5 * Tartare De Filet Mignon $20 - This was another favorite dish of ours and we ended up ordering another! Loved the red trout roe and crostini that came with it. 5/5 * Moules La Marinire 1 lb $27 - The mussels were so well cleaned and the sauce had so much flavor. It also came with a crusty piece of bread to soak up all that amazing sauce. 5/5 * Peach Cobbler - Before we ordered, I did ask if they had a dessert menu as I wanted to gauge how much food to get based on what desserts were available. Our waiter mentioned they had only two peach cobblers available and could put one on hold for us if we wanted it. And he did rattle off a few of their regular dessert items too. Since this peach cobbler seemed so exclusive, we did ask for that to be on hold for us. When it did arrive, I was a bit disappointed. It wasn't sweet enough for my preference. I'm not sure if it was because the peaches weren't sweet or there was a lack of sugar in the cobbler portion. 3/5 * Beignets $12 (to go) - As we were leaving, I asked one of the floor managers if they typically do something for birthdays and he confirmed that they do. He then asked if they had missed something, so I reluctantly told him that they did. The Husband did mention to the two waiters that we were celebrating a birthday, so he had told the staff. I thought that maybe because the peach cobbler took a bit longer, maybe it was forgotten. He apologized profusely and offered to send us with an order of beignets. We were pretty full and had a drive back, but he insisted and said it would only take a moment or so. So we agreed and I waited for it. The order came with 10 little freshly fried doughnut holes, lemon curd, raspberry gelee, and strawberries. We headed to the car and I enjoyed a few there. They were just okay though, nothing really special. 3/5 Overall, there were some really great highs and a couple of lows. I appreciated how the manager tried to make up for the error and did ask where we were seating, so I assume he could address it with the staff. We REALLY loved certain dishes and would return again for those. I would still rate this highly because we did have a generally good experience. 4.5 stars

Both were genuinely well-executed -- the fried rice had real char and sweetness instead of tasting like a steam-table version, and the shawarma was juicy with a good sear on the edges, not the dry, overcooked version you get at a lot of fast-casual spots. Rosetta runs all eight concepts under one kitchen team rather than independent vendors, and it shows in how consistent everything tastes across stalls. We were at the main-floor bar downstairs, not the rooftop one, and the bartenders there were the highlight of the night. Attentive, fast, and clearly used to reading a group that's celebrating something. This is the spot for a group with different cravings who still wants to sit together -- one person wants noodles, another wants shawarma, nobody has to compromise. It's not a quiet date-night pick; it's communal, and built for exactly the kind of night we had. We'll be back, and next time we're ordering that fried rice again.
