I took a small point and shoot, camera into this Postal Annex, off Loma Santa Fe to be mailed out. The lady got me a very small shipping box and asked what shipping method I wanted. I said, "the least expensive." The least expensive to her was +$29.00 I said, "I ship out large motorcycle backpacks for $15, how is a small camera $30? She said that's what it is. I said I'll take it to USPS and ship it from there. I paid $4! for a .10 cent box and went to USPS where I spent $11 for 2nd day Air! I will DEFINITELY not be back!!! RIP OFF!! read more

As I understand it, this store is run by a husband and wife. Today, while interacting with the wife I was shocked to be reprimanded for not bringing my own tape to affix a label to the front of a package that I paid for at the very same Postal Annex. I used this Postal Annex because I had a lot to ship this month and it is close to my work. I have spent over $50 on shipping materials from this store this month alone. It isn't like I just walked in and demanded she tape a label to the front of a package that I did not purchase there. The only reason why I am not giving one star to this establishment is because the husband of the duo was very nice and accommodating in the past. I wish I had seen Yelp reviews before going here. Tape seems to be a real issue with this woman - very rude! I question whether my parcel will even arrive at its destination based on the lack of adhesive to the address label. When we realized the pre-addressed label I had lacked a self-sticking back, she wanted to give me scotch tape then reluctantly tore off 1 strip of packing tape to affix the address label. Two-thirds of the label was still left exposed to tear off in transit when she threw it in the stack of parcels. Fingers crossed it makes it and this place crossed off my list of convenient postal shops. Owner should realize tape is less valuable than customers. read more
