This review is for Lori. She is amazing. Super helpful, friendly even under pressure. The library's been closed for 2 months. The printer didn't make it with us on the move and so I ended up at her location 10 minutes before I was supposed to leave. Of course I didn't have anything in the correct format for her to be able to print for me. At this location you have to email your document that you wish to be printed in PDF form so that they can print it for you. I can't print from your phone or use the computer. That's okay because Lori is there and she's super patient while you try to figure all this out. Of course I was stressed but Lori was Right there being positive and helping me out. Be very careful trusting your valuables with the Postal Annex at Ace Hardware in Ramona, CA. I lost a package valued over $1,000 due to either thievery or neglect of their employees or employees of their shipping partners. I dropped off the FedEx package at the Postal Annex, Ramona, and got an acceptance receipt. The package was never handed to FedEx. The Annex denies any responsibility for their actions, and FedEx denies the claim because the package was not given to them directly. It creates a perfect condition for scams and fraud. The only solution at this point is to take them to the Small Claims court. Do you want to suffer more pain? Do not support lousy business. read more

Irritated that I spent $15 for them to mess up my military retirement paperwork because she wanted to feel like she was earning her $15 for applying a stamp to a piece of paper. It was pretty simple. The government wanted a notary stamp on *THIS BLANK* right here. This notary is apparently too good to sign it on the line and put the seal where it asks for it. So she scribbles "see attached page" and completely disregards the government form to be on her own stinking program and attach her own special form. So now, naturally, my retirement office won't accept it because that isn't what the military wanted. Cross the T's, Dot the I's, but stop screwing with someone's life because you want to feel special, and do your job. I also really do not appreciate her reading through my paperwork and telling me that I had to cross through anything not filled out, even pages not related to the section that needed notarizing, before she would notarize. That sounds suspiciously like some sort of legal advice when I was under the impression your job was to match the ID of the person holding the ID to the person signing. That was it. Making sure no one is committing fraud or forgery, not messing up my paperwork. So to sum up: Do not use this location for your notary services because she can not follow simple directions and if someone actually wants your paperwork filled out the way the military wants it, you will be out of $15 AND have to do it again. read more

I was beyond thrilled to find this Postal Annex inside the Ransom Brothers True Value Store. I have had keys made twice - the ladies that helped me were friendly and all of the keys worked (can't say that always happens elsewhere). Also, it's wonderful to be able to ship packages on Sunday...something hard to find! Athena is AMAZING, a master packer! Also...how cool is it to have a notary there ALL THE TIME? Even on Sunday! AWFUL service. We paid for overpriced notary services at this location, and the notary failed to add a complete notary acknowledgment and stamp as required so our document was rejected. We had to go find another notary who could do the job correctly. It was a complete waste of time! I would NOT recommend anyone use this location for notary services. read more

I wanted to ship a package to Italy without spending a whole bunch. I really came in to buy packing brown paper and go back to the post office but after Athena explained to me that it wasn't a good idea to ship in that paper she helped me figure out the best way to do so. She package it for me in a way that it would work the best way possible. If there were more stars I would give them all to her. Excellent customer service I didn't get a tenth of that at the USPS office Also it would have been cheaper to return to the post office but I rather spend more money and receive a good service and also reward businesses that do it right than spend a little less and get bad service and who knows if my package would have arrived! read more

This place is great. Very competent employees and they send out both Fedex and UPS (among other carriers). They have all the supplies you could need. I needed copies of forms and needed to mail them "certified/return receipt" and the post office does not offer copy services. I needed everything done ASAP as the post office closed at 1. These guys didn't close till 5. There ended up being 2 women that helped me and they were overly helpful and very knowledgeable in their positions. At the woman's behest I didn't get the "certified" stuff and that saved me a bunch of money and I was still able to require a signature, and track my packages. Horrible!! I needed to overnight paperwork for my vehicle lease and brought it there with my prepaid label. I called the leasing company 3 days later to see if they got it and they hadn't. I checked the tracking number and it hadn't even need shipped yet!!! It wasn't shipped till 4 days after I dropped it off. All they said was Sorry and hung up.
