Located in the Target / Costco center I was returning items to Shein via UPS WHAT WORKED WELL 1. Returns can be done at any UPS Store, which is convenient. 2. This specific UPS location was excellent: fast service, helpful staff, and no unnecessary complications. 3. The process was efficient and well-organized. 4. Employees clearly knew what they were doing. 5. Plentiful parking made it easy to get in and out quickly. HOW THE RETURN PROCESS WORKS 1. Each item must be placed back in its original Shein bag. 2. At the UPS Store, staff scan each item individually using the barcode attached to the return. 3. You receive a printed receipt with all return details for your records. 4. The entire process was quick and straightforward. 5. UPS will recycle your box or you can take it home WHAT DID NOT WORK 1. Unlike Amazon, SHEIN does not issue an immediate credit after the return is processed. 2. The delayed refund experience is the main reason 3. When I calculated the total time (including travel), it came out to 6 hours (rounding up), yet I was charged for 7.5 hours. I spoke with "Mr. G" (possibly the owner or manager), and his explanation of the charges honestly didn't add up to me. I was there the entire time and did not agree with the total. At that point, I was exhausted and just paid, but I truly feel I was overcharged and taken advantage of. When I received a text from the driver saying he was on his way, he mentioned that their goal was to make "$100 each in tips, more or less." I found that comment inappropriate and off-putting, especially before the service had even started.
