This is my second visit to the UPS store on Poway Road. My experience was identical to my first visit. The staff is super friendly. The store is clean and organized and the service is professional and proficient today I was helped by Emma. She was super friendly and helped me ship a package to Oakland California. She curated a box for me and help me organize my items that I was shipping out to a client she made it look professional. The total was $15, which was a reasonable price for the weight and distance involved in the shipment. I highly recommend this UPS store. read more

This UPS Store location is awesome! I've got a couple of times when I'm in the area and I compared to other locations as anyone would. I would have to say, without a doubt that this location has some of the speediest service, it has much better pricing than the other locations nearby, and the staff is extremely friendly. The service we requested was just to have a simple package to ship, but the clerk just waived the packing charge for us and just charged for the box and shipping. I have given this particular UPS store 2 chances and now I will not return nor use their services for our business. The first encounter the clerk argued with me that one needs to buy a box for an express shipment. I have a business and have used UPS for years. I had to explain an express box is given- then he (LM) argued that "Why do you even need a box, your item is in a box"....what? I explained this shipment was worth a lot of money and needed a second box as well as a signature as *required* by UPS for items above a certain price point- he finally agreed to sign. Rude. Today was the last day- a delivery was taken there and the clerk refused to sign the paper that is required again by UPS if over a certain dollar amount. Finally CA wrote CA and explained they don't sign anything! It would be helpful if the people working here understood the actual UPS requirements... if you are returning a package to Amazon great- I am sure they are capable- but I will no longer use their services for our company business. There are other UPS stores that are customer friendly as well as knowledgeable on shipments! read more

This location should be avoided if you are trying to return Amazon items. They are discourteous and as bureaucratic and difficult as they possibly can be. Can't speak to their other services....but, if their customer service is as abysmal in other areas as their Amazon return function then it is hopeless. read more

Much friendlier location vs. another UPS Store location I visited. Thank you for that! Parking is pretty plentiful but it can get busy since it shares a lot with Michael's, Grocery Outlet and a few other businesses. The gentleman who's name I didn't catch, made my Amazon return quick and painless. I really appreciated his professionalism as I've done returns at Kohl's and was met by a grumpy girl with a super sour disposition. No thanks. I'll be sure to check out this location for any of my shipping needs going forward. I just stopped by this store earlier this morning to return an item back to Verizon. The store was clean and when I walked in I was greeted with a friendly hello (this goes a long way for me). I had a question regarding how I should ship this specific item back because if it was not done right Verizon would charge me $200. They were very friendly and gave me their recommendation. I didn't even have to ask for a receipt and was on my way in no time! Fast, friendly, and efficient service! I will definitely be back when/if I have to ship anything else! read more

The manager is extremely unhelpful and could care less about service or helping someone with a missing package issue. He was rude & said "I've been the manager here for 5 years and I know exactly how it all works". Useless! Came in yesterday (wednesday) midday to return an Amazon parcel because UPS never showed at my home to pick it up nor did they leave me a label. I only had a return tracking number provided. 2 gentlemen were at the counter at this UPS store and stated that they can't help me with the return of the parcel and proceeded to give me a poor and broken-up explanation that made no sense. They provided no solution or suggestion whatsoever to assist me in remedying the issue. Seemed they were more interested in chatting among one another and they just wanted me to leave. The service at this store is horrible!! The short white guy was yelling that he is a military vet and was in war. I went in to tell them one of my packages wasn't delivered. He was extremely rude. He wanted to argue with me that I received my packages and too bad that I'm missing one. He went on to argue and keep talking when I was trying to explain. He said, I'm the manager so good luck trying to email the store. Wow. He obviously has PTSD from the war and still thinks he's at war. This guy needs to not be dealing with customers. There are several mailbox and postal places in Poway, this place charges way too much to be treating customers this way. Spend your money at a place that values their customers.
