Every time I have had to either drop off a package, get a quote for shipping, and even a notary, the customer service and experience is outstanding. Went to the place to get something notarized had all the paperwork but the guy the notary this is at 2:30 in the afternoon June 21st 2022 The idiot did not even look at all of my paperwork which was everything was in order so I had to go to the Claremont place but to the Clariemont place in my neighborhood I went and saw this old timer which he was super sharp looked over all the paperwork everything was taken care of the guy that was behind the counter and power should be fired read more

I needed the passport pictures for my son. One for his American passport and other one for the Japanese passport which requires the different size pictures. I had to travel to LA for submitting the Japanese passport application so I wanted to make sure I had everything ready. Men working there were very friendly and helpful. However the picture of his face size did not look right at all neither for the American or the Japanese passport requirements. (One was too small and other was too big). I inquired about it and they took another one for free. I still insisted the sizes did not look right measuring using their ruler. They said non of their American passport pictures they took got returned and it will be fine. And as for the Japanese passport pics, they looked up google and said the size is right for the Japanese as well. I was doubtful and went to CVS to try for Japanese passport picture. They had software where they adjust the sizes automatically according to the each country passport requirements. It was done perfectly. Now we went to apply American passport today using the picture taken here, I was told the picture's face size was too small and got rejected. So we went back to CVS took another one. I would highly recommend to go to CVS if you need passport pictures read more

I went to the FedEx store today with a bench that I wasn't able to fully take apart. Edgar at the store was extremely great. Gracious helped me carry the bench inside and send it off for my return. He went above and beyond The store is great. read more

My package was supposed to go here as an access point. I called the store because the status updated the next morning that it was going to attempt delivery again. I figured I could just pick it up. When I called the store I spoke to a man named Robert and he was no help at all. He claimed he has no control over the drivers decision to attempt to deliver. Never asked for the shipping number and had a major irritated attitude about the whole thing. He then proceeded to tell me to SHUTUP once I said he was being unprofessional and he hung up on me. This man should be FIRED. I've never been spoken to like this and I've worked in customer service for over 10 years. Absolutely insane. read more

Hey again, Robert. Your version of the story is pure fabrication. There was no one in the store as I approached, certainly not three people in line, and in fact I opened the door for the only other customer that got in line before me, which was a guy in an arm cast. Also, you came in from the back, which I imagine is where all the packages you're talking about were by the time I came in. All you've done is prove that you treated more than one person badly on the day I came in, and I wish they'd have left a review as well. Say whatever you want to your boss to try and keep your job, but don't try to lie to me or about my experience with your rude and childish behavior. And no one brought up active or past service, so did you google me? That's a problem in and of itself, but I'll remind you that your war is over, and you work at UPS now. If you want to talk about the military then re-enlist, volunteer like I do, or call your friends or a therapist; don't try to garner sympathy for a life you don't even live anymore. There's no excuse to treat people like they're less than you. I don't give a damn how many good reviews you have-- you were an ass to me, and apparently someone else earlier in the day when there were more customers. I talked to corporate the day this happened and relayed the true order of events, and asked them to review your behavior via the cameras if they exist. I'm going to call back about you somehow getting my last name and looking into my history. Whether anything gets done, we'll see. Either be better or find a better vent for your frustrations that isn't the customers in your work place. Or quit so someone who'd love to have a job during quarantine could do better than you can under such light pressure. read more

I never thought I'd write up a yelp review for the The UPS Store but I had a several bad experiences at the location by my home off El Norte and Center City pkwy, I had to take note about this location. THIS store has excellent customer service. They have never ever tried upselling me to print out a label to ship my Amazon returns. No, return packaging? They took care of me. They ALWAYS ask if I want a receipt. This location will always get my business. read more

I had the worst experience at this UPS store. I was there to return an Amazon item and to ship an item. Carl was very rude. The Amazon return did not require a box or a label per the instructions. Carl said I had to buy an envelope even after I showed him the Amazon instructions. I purchased an envelope but Carl continued to be rude. When I reached out to the store later Kate answered and was not helpful. I will drive out of my way to go to the Scripps Ranch or Rancho Bernardo UPS store because they are so kind and understand customer service. Obviously Carl and Kate were having a bad day. read more

Youngjae has been the most pleasant person to work with! I had a few returns and a few things to ship and he was so kind and thoughtful with the things I needed to do. I ship a lot, sometimes I print and ship at home because it's more convenient and I don't have to deal with a person to explain what I'm shipping and how much. I remembered I had some Amazon returns and stops in the UPS store minutes before closing and totally unprepared. The gentleman that works the store, Robert went over and above to help me out so that I can get these returns out before the deadline. Customer service like this is so rare nowadays. We stopped in 2 weeks ago to send a large vase with pedestal overseas and young Jae helped us out. I can't say enough about him, he went above and beyond to try to help us send this vase, found us a solution when no other place did. Extremely disappointed with this UPS store. The guy that helped me was on his cell phone the entire time. I was delivering shoes that I was selling and had already sold for 400$. I specifically told him to do nothing that involves altering the box. I receive notice today from the buyer that the UPS person who had helped me did the exact thing I told him not to do. Maybe if he wasn't on his cell phone the entire time he would of paid attention to my request. Instead, he devalued my item by 100$ and they are not being sent back from a dissatisfied customer. This has been a complete disaster. The UPS employee is a complete moron. This idiot decided to not put my shoes in a box, instead shipped them as is with the label on the actual shoe box. This is the last time I ever go to UPS. This idiot should be fired. read more
