My bank suggested the UPS store in the same shopping strip but the Notary had left for the day. I've made a couple of phone calls and found out Postal Annex in Poway offers the service. I was more than happy to pay them the $15 fee instead of other places because they've became a friend since I moved here in Poway 5 years ago. They are always friendly and pleasant to help you with your postal needs. I recommend them to friends and family.

This is the only location in our area that does the passports and the staff at this location are very rude when you don't have your materials or an appointment. Even tho online it says walk in welcome. The staff here will NOT help you. They don't answer any questions and just bark at you that it's all online. They seem to be VERY irritated that they have to do the passport process. There's one lady in particular who've I've now dealt with 3 times who is absolutely awful- good luck to all the moms just trying to get their kids documents, this place sucks!

It's a much better experience with a recent pickup. Boxes were picked up on the scheduled day…read morethough 2 hours after the pickup window. LBC is the definition of running on Filipino time. My scheduled pickup was to occur between 10am and 2pm. At 1:50pm, I called customer service since it hadn't been done and was told, "the driver is in the area." They'll coordinate with the driver. It didn't give me a good sense of security. The driver showed up closer to 4pm. He was quick, efficient. He's got the method locked down. Paperwork and labeling the boxes only took 10 minutes. He hauled out 1x extra large and 1x large box with ease. I'm really hoping that things are better. Thankfully, I was still able to make my appointment. Waiting for LBC to arrive really takes the entire day regardless if the appointment exists. What really needs work is their communication - i.e. reminder email day of or before pickup day, or text updates on the day of pick up, or updates that the driver is en route, or real information from customer service agents instead of canned messages. We're just very happy that this pickup is done and complete!

Sending a package should be a straightforward process, but unfortunately, my experience at this…read morelocation was disappointing. I arrived at 2:41 PM and waited approximately 45 minutes before being assisted. There was only one employee helping a long line of customers, and there did not appear to be a clear or efficient system in place to manage the volume. Packages were also piled throughout the lobby, making the area feel cluttered, disorganized, and poorly managed. While the employee appeared to be doing the best they could under the circumstances, the location clearly needs better staffing, stronger organization, and more attention from management. Given the long wait, the condition of the lobby, and the overall lack of organization, it was difficult to feel that customer experience was being treated as a priority.
