When I walked in I was immediately greeted by Karla. She was so sweet and first thing she asked me was if I was there to see her. I said i was there to livescan. Just got my passport photo, literally 5 minutes. They have a professional setup, check the pictures with you, know what will be approved and what won't and it was cheaper then expected! Whe you get a list of places they want you to review there's no address or location, so a pain. if this is the location on E. Valley Parkway they're terrific and very helpful and easy-going. I visited Postal Annex for LiveScan services. I'm incredibly disappointed with the service I received from Jason. He was blatantly impersonal, bordering on rude. From the time I walked into the store until standing at the cash register, he didn't look me in the eye once. The other gentleman in the store was friendly and actually greeted me, but unfortunately he wasn't able to process LiveScans. Worst of all, Jason left my LiveScan form face up on a table right next to another customer, exposing my social security number, drivers license number, address, and so on. This is a HUGE violation of privacy and confidentiality. When I mentioned this to Jason, he kept his back turned to me and just said, "sorry." It was clear he either didn't grasp the seriousness of his mistake, or he just didn't care. When it was time for him to actually do my LiveScan, Jason grabbed my thumb without first asking for consent or telling me what he was about to do. In the past when I've had LiveScans done, the person always tells me what they're about to do, and confirms that it's okay. Jason did not do so, and I felt incredibly uncomfortable because of his actions. I don't feel Jason has enough training or discretion to safely or reliably provide LiveScan services. I'm also frustrated with the surprise charge at the register. The website lists the cost as $20 and a rolling fee, but doesn't mention that the rolling fee is $49 until you're at the register. I will not be returning to this location and would not recommend it to anyone needing to do a LiveScan. read more

About 1 week ago, I was calling around to inquire about some photos I needed for an application for my little one. The photo requirements were very specific and I was concerned that I wouldn't find a place that could provide a photo with the specs needed but when I spoke with Jason from the location, he said they have a software to ensure the photos will meet the required standards. So on a Saturday morning, my husband and I brought our little one here for the photo. I was very impressed with the quality of Teri's work and for the kindness and patience she demonstrated. It's no easy feat to get a toddler to cooperate, sit still, look at the camera, and maintain a neutral expression. Teri ensured that the quality of the photo was great, that all the specifications were met, and that I was satisfied with the image. I wholeheartedly recommend this Postal Annex for any photos or similar needs. Just FYI, they do have a software that is used to ensure the photo meets the standard for U.S. and international government application photos (eg passports, citizenship, etc). I recently moved to La Jolla with my new hubby and now I'm missing this Target AND PostalAnnex. I'm mainly here to read all the other reviews and giggle that a PostalAnnex of all places has 5 star reviews! But that just goes to show the power of superb customer service. As for my personal take... Dennis is hilarious! He always makes a postal transaction so fun. I'm impressed that they tape up your package when it's not secured enough, whereas other postal shops I've been to make you purchase your own tape. Not only did Dennis have a friendly personality, but he genuinely seemed happy to have my business. I come in with an object alto ship and a shipping label, all I need to do is spend 2 bucks on a box and they are willing to do everything else for me. Just that the settings in his printing machine is different . Very dissatisfied. I was planning to go here for notary and other services. No more going back... very bad service.
