I called on Tuesday @ 8:22 AM and left a message with Debbie, citing who referred them and asking if we could talk about my project. I got a return call @ 12:07 when I was on a conference call. I called them back @ 3:33 PM and left a message and suggested I would be willing to come see them and show them the design concept for the event and discuss options. So, yesterday, after exchanging missed calls, I am finally able to talk with Debbie and her message to me, . . . ."Well, you coming here is not the best use of my time. So just tell me what you want." It was not said with kindness. In my 30+ years of running global sales organization, and working with many companies in the creation of world class events and attendance at domestic and international trade shows and working with companies that create panels, displays, marketing materials, I have NEVER been treated with such disdain and rudeness.
