I don't even remember how I found them, but in my quest of seeking a supplier for silkscreening t-shirts, I came across them. When I called with my (simple then) needs, they were very nice on the phone. There was just one problem, I couldn't describe the odd green shirt we needed. With sample in hand, this deserved a quick drive to their business. Walking into the business, I saw an impressive selection of samples on the wall. This stopped me in my tracks. Did I really want that shirt or would should we go for more? Peter and Erik took a look at the shirt and quickly gave me a quote. Hmm! That is half the price spent on the last batch! What about something like this one here on the wall, "I inquired?" Hearing the numbers convinced me. We needed to change! They offered to do the graphics for a small (very reasonable) fee, but I didn't want to be a middleman. Instead I went back to the person who needed the shirts and told them the deal. They agreed Breakout Prints had amazing prices. Easy for me, they were also ready for change too. Lets move the story along... Breakout Prints did an amazing 4-color screen for half the price than that other place and had a turnaround within a third of the time. Wow! Anyone who works the front desk for any business knows the frustration of having dozens of sales calls every week for things that are mostly a waste of time. And a lot of those sales calls are from people who are irritated, grumpy, and in general not friendly; who will hang up or insult you at the first no. I had been meaning to get over to the 5 for $10 Tshirt store in El Cajon for a long time to have some simple shirts printed up to wear in the office but the previous experiences that I had there didn't really make it a priority for me. When Chris called our business a few weeks ago it was nothing like the sales calls that we usually receive. I searched google for t-shirt screening places in my area for a class of kids that needed shirts made. When I called the place, I spoke with Lisa. She was super nice, and asked me what we needed. I had already received a certain amount per child, but also knew what I wanted on the shirts. She said she'd work with us- and said she'd email as soon as she had an idea to show me. I got the email within the hour. It was a geat representation of what we had wanted. I approved it and they got to work making the shirt. She said it would be about a week to get the shirts to me, but she called way sooner than that. The kids are happy with shirts, they came out really great. If you need to get shirts made and are close to Scripps Poway, this is your place. Affordable, fast and friendly. I just wish they were easier to find! You have to go to the backside of an office building to find this one- and I don't think there's a sign off the main road- but it's worth it if you do find it. Great find! read more
