I have used The Ups Store In Ramona California when I need to mail packages to family. The staff are always polite and professional. I went in to day to send a package back. That was wrong that was sent to my mom so I took and shipped it back for her. I Never had a problem sending through Ups store. They make it easy and fast for you. Yes I recommend them. She is incredibly knowledgeable, always eager to help, and approaches every interaction with a wonderful positive attitude. The customer service at this store is absolutely terrible. I had an item that Amazon advised is a UPS store packed item no box or label needed, and they refused to pack up the item. In addition, they want to charge $2.50 just to add tape to a box that I didn't even need to provide. When I asked about this policy, they wanted to state that if it is more than 12 inches of tape they charge. I wonder if the Amazon contract is outlined this way or if the associates are just lazy. No other store has EVER done this. I would absolutely recommend avoiding the store if at all possible. The line was out the door just moments ago and associates were just in the back talking. Unsure if related or unrelated to work but with a line out the door anyone would think they would prioritize. I also want to add so that I don't state something that is incorrect that the person that was rude was an associate with long dark hair working the front office today. She also came over to clean up the self service kiosk and made a pretty nasty remark about how people leave it messy and she's fed up with it. I had to help a pregnant lady with her packages because no one even offered to help her. I am one to give Grace, but today's experience was just awful. read more

Customer service here CAN'T BE BEAT. I end up doing a lot of Amazon returns for people since I live so close to UPS and I just know it has to be annoying to come in with a bunch of different ones. They have never made me feel burdensome and the returns go perfect each time. (When I use the Amazon Fresh store there is almost always something that disconnects with those returns). I've also naturally had some mistakes with returns (needing battery labels, forgetting to print something) and they always jump right in to correct it for me while I'm still there and get the return sent out. Again, without making me feel poorly and being so incredibly kind. read more

I recently moved to Ramona and had quite a few Amazon packages to return. Some of the return instructions were confusing and didn't match what was originally stated. I was pleased and surprised that the women here knew all the in and outs of shipping. I am 78 and don't see well so working on the phone to change directions was difficult. They were patient with me ,took their time, went through each package until all the Amazon requirements were fulfilled. Me and my wife come here all the time. I show up at 9:52 am on Tuesday 6/30 and the door is locked so I knock. I see a lady throw her hands up like what the hell do You want. A min later she walks over and points at a small sign on the side of the door that has 8 others signs on it that has a new open time of 10am. I really don't understand what pissed her off. They have signs on the floor that say maintain 6 feet but they say they're not in use showing a man entered my space I requested he back up he said he could not do that the store replied we don't follow those rules anymore we don't follow Covid rules at all so I will no longer be using the store read more

I sent my husband here yesterday afternoon for my Amazon returns. Apparently I had not packaged them correctly. The gal working here immediately took the time to help my husband remedy the packaging issue so that it would be accepted by Amazon correctly. During a time when it would've perhaps been easier to turn my husband away due to the fact it was a packaging error on our part, I thought it was kind of her take the time to help. UPS El Centro California is by far the worst UPS store in all of California! My Amazon packages where out on truck for delivery by 1pm one day then 4pm, 8pm, 10pm, to running late! Then the same same thing 2 more days! this has happened to me and my roommate! Mow today they said check shipping infI, and UPS had to correct it so 2 more days delay to drive across town to deliver it! WHT! If I could give the 0 stars definitely would and I am not using them if I don't have too! Would not recommend these dumb idiots read more

Do NOT trust this location to send your package on time. I paid over $100 for a USPS package to be delivered by Wednesday before 12PM on Monday and this store failed to get the package out to the USPS until 1:18PM on Tuesday. Now it will not make it until Thursday. read more

I usually use ups for printing services when I'm in a rush and I don't have time go home to do it. To make a long story short, the fellow at the counter, maybe the owner was so so so helpful, even going as far as to let me use his computer to find the document I needed printed online. If there was a zero star i would rate this as zero. These guys are total ripoffs! do not go to this store for your postal needs go down the street and go to the regular post office. I am looking at a receipt for postage stamps and a certified mail letter. And they had the gall to charge 13.50 when it only costs 6.11 to send that same letter through the post office. the most appalling thing that i saw was they charged $85.00 for a roll of postage stamps, a roll is 100 stamps and at the post office it would be $46 they made a profit of $39.00, are you effin kidding me! read more

This is for store 2488 in Ramona next to Stater Brothers. I needed to return some items from Amazon. I tried to have UPS pickup at my house. They do not give you a day or time of day for pickup. After trying several times to get pickup, we kept missing each other (even though I am home all day retired). Waited all day Friday, no attempt. Then Saturday morning somehow missed him again at 8:00 AM so I gave up and told Amazon I would take packages to store that day. After reading other reviews, I was worried and already starting a bad day. I got to the store and was helped by Jane. I forwarded the amazon emails to her but the links they sent only worked in amazon acct. My day was getting worse and the thought of going home to get data and coming back with my back aching from carrying heavy packages was bad. Jane suggested I go home and get data in pdfs and email to her. She would tape up packages, print out labels and send them. Then she would email me back copies of the receipts with tracking. No need to come back. About a half hour after sending the PDFs I got a reply back from Jane with copies of the receipts. She turned a bad morning into an easy afternoon and I appreciate it so I give her 5 stars. read more

Don't count on their notary to be available after 4PM. I was notified last minute that I needed to get some documents notarized, and I showed up at 4:15PM and I was told their notary took off at 4PM. Most people are aware that UPS offers this service, so I was furious. I went to PostelAnnex at True Value next to Albertsons and they were able to help me out quickly. The staff at this location are friendly, but their inability to provide notary services until their closing time really upset me. read more

Twice I have manuals printed from UPS online to pick up at the store, and was told they would be ready at a scheduled time. I paid online and received confirmation both times. Never received an email that they were ready so when I called the store they said "we don't check our email. You need to call us to actually do the order." The first time I used UPS the order was printed at the second promised time after I called, but it was done incorrectly. I thought maybe it was a fluke so I used them again because they were less expensive and closer to home. The second time, I had to call them and again was told again they "don't check their emails". I guess this is routine for them. The order was not ready at the promised time they gave me over the phone. They didn't print it or bind it until after I showed up to pick up the order AND they still printed it incorrectly. I want to make it clear the store wasn't busy because I would have understood if it took more time to complete if they were busy but no one was in the store except for the rep. While waiting for my order, two customers came in and were never greeted or told it would be a little bit before they would be helped. When she did address one of the customers she couldn't answer a basic question of if they could enlarge a picture and on what type of paper. I would rather go to FedEx and pay more rather that deal with the incompetency of this store. read more
