Had problem with my Dryer not heating up. Dryer was running fine otherwise Technician that came out was kinda rude. He quoted me around 450.00 for the repair. I received an Email later that day when he had left asking for a tip. anywhere from 20 to100.00. I gave him 20.00. A few days after that my dryer started making noises grinding..etc. If my dryer (Samsung) was really that bad or seemed like it needed more work, shouldn't he have told me??? I left a message with the A I answering machine, did not receive a call back. Next time, I'll buy a new dryer. read more

HORRIBLE!!!!!! DO NOT EVEN BOTHER!! If I could give it 0 star I would. Costco used them for LG dishwasher installation, but they never notified me on when they will be here. I called for more information, and I was told they will be here from 1-5pm, however no one ever showed up. I called the next day in the morning when their phone line is open, sharp at 9am, but I was told they ACCIDENTALLY CANCELLED my appointment, and the best they could do is to schedule me the day after from 3-7pm. I wanted something sooner, and they said I should have called earlier. HAHA! I did, your phone line wasn't opened and your mailbox was full!!!!!! I waited till 8pm that day and no one showed up. I called the next day again, and was now told they will schedule me 4 days later! No apologies neither! Gail, the one answer the phone said "thats all I could do, I am just the one answering the phone here." BUT YOU WERE THE ONE WHO ACCIDENTALLY CANCELLED MY APPOINTMENT!!!!!! I was assigned this company by LG because I have an LG refrigerator and this is an authorized dealer. They are totally unresponsive never answering emails, phone calls, or text messages. I was supposed to have an appointment between 8 AM and noon and I have been calling every couple of hours since 8 AM this morning. It's now 2 o'clock and I still haven't heard from anybody so I called LG again to get another person to come and repair my refrigerator. I gave them one star because that was lowest I could give. I too, had an appt scheduled from between 12-5 pm which in & of itself is illegal. (CALIF Civil Code: section 1722). Appts can not have more than a 4 hour window. My technician did not show up and after 2 phone calls I was told he was running late & would call me. Eric called at 6:04 pm, to tell me that he was on his way home and would not be coming to service my new LG washer, that was leaking. LG replaced Alpha with A&E who showed up with-in 2 hrs, diagnosed the problem and ordered the part. I cannot believe LG uses this outfit. They must not have done their homework!!! You are probably here because they never showed up during their long window from 9am-5pm that they give you for repair service. You tried calling them multiple times during business hours and they don't pick up. If you are working with LG and your appliance is under warranty and they try to have these guys help you make sure you call back and tell them you want someone else. They won't show up. read more

I would like to take back my concerns about LG , they found out about my problems with this company Alpha Appliance Solutions and went and found another company to come and fix my TV which would have been very expensive to fix and it was not under any warranty since it had broken shortly after the warranty that came with the TV expired. LG went way out there to help me ,I am now VERY impressed with LG and their superior support to their customers. Run like hell! Owner/Technician Eric, and accomplice Gail are fraudsters. Alpha's business license has been expired since April 2020 (over 5 months), a fact I discovered too late. He could not repair my LG OLED TV and would not follow through on his word to return it to me unrepaired, forcing me to abandon my property to him. He effectively stole my property. Like other reviewers here, I was (unbelievably) referred to Alpha by the TV manufacturer, LG, when my 55" OLED suddenly stopped turning on. I agreed to bring my TV to Eric. His business address he provided for drop off was actually a different business, a mailbox rental company he uses (Red Flag #1). Had I not been referred by LG I would have turned around then. I gave it to the mailbox office staff and asked for at least a makeshift receipt proving I left it there, which she did. That was almost 7 weeks ago, July 21st. I never received ANY official receipts/documentation from Alpha (Red Flag #2). The following weeks since then have consisted of numerous unanswered calls and texts inquiring about the status of my TV (Red Flag #3...I'll stop now, you get the idea). The times I did get a hold of Eric there's been numerous excuses about awaiting parts, then new problems discovered that will increase the costs, and rude replies when I express dissatisfaction with the lack of communication. Finally told him I don't want him to do repairs anymore, just want tv back unrepaired. Numerous times he said it would be at the mailbox store where I gave it to him, but its not there when I check (out of the way location for me, to add to frustration). He doesn't have a store front I can go to find him, nor would I feel safe to do so if I could. Couple times he's claimed I owe him a $100 diagnostic fee, which I refuse to pay and find illegitimate due to his expired license I discovered, lack of any written disclosure of a diagnostic fee when I gave the TV for repairs, and no proof that he worked on it at all. As it became clear to me that my property would never be returned to me or returned worse than I gave it, I was forced to abandon my attempts and cut all communications with Alpha. I can only hope that my complaints to the CA Dept of Consumer Affairs and the LG legal department can help put them out of business as other reviewers here have suggested. read more

I had an LG OLED TV service request experience almost exactly like another review here. LG assigned the case to Alpha Appliance Solutions as an authorized repair center in San Diego area. The request was accepted in the first week of July. I received a call from them on that day telling me to wait for another call for appointment. And that's it, that's the only call I ever received. Called Alpha Appliance Solutions multiple times at the end of July, told to wait for "another" call each time. Finally I called LG to get it sorted out. Even LG was not able to get a hold of them. So I have my case transferred out to a new technician now. Hope LG can review this kind of shady business practice and end the relationship with them. And for anybody else checking, please ask LG to transfer your case immediately to another technician when your case is assigned to Alpha Appliance Solutions. I hired you to fix my LG washer. I realize we're in a pandemic and it took longer than normal to fix. It never got completely fixed. My washer stopped during usage. You replaced the control panel and didn't run it all the way through. It kept rinsing and spinning for almost 2 hrs. The tub is not agitating correctly. That should've been checked. I waited a month to get it fixed. It should've been fixed correctly. I called and called. I gave you many chances to fix it. Now, its been 2 months. I paid $400 and my washer is still broken. I was bummed when my dishwasher went on the fritz just before my dinner party. I was hoping to offer warm plates, shiny flatware, and spotless stemware to my guests. I called Alpha Appliance Solutions and described my problem. The service representative who took my call was absolutely the most patient, caring person I've dealt with in a long time. They helped me stop sniveling and boo-hooing long enough to assure a repair technician would be at my place within three hours and that my dishes would likely sparkle within two hours after that. Even though they were nice, I did not believe them at all. Guess what! The technician showed up in LESS time than was promised and finished the job more quickly that predicted, and best of all, the job costed less than the estimated quote! I had the same horrible experience as most of the reviewers. Alpha Appliance Solutions accepted the request to repair the ice maker in my LG refrigerator the first week of July. I was told I would be contacted to scheduled an appointment. Instead of being called, I received a text saying they would be there on a Saturday between 8 and 5. I was unable to reach anyone to say that was not acceptable and would need to reschedule. I finally received a call telling me a new ice maker needed to be ordered (this is before they even looked at it to determine the problem) and it would be delivered to my house. After a week and no ice maker delivery, I called Alpha, who in turn said they would track the delivery. Didn't hear back so called again. These phone calls went on for over a month. The really hilarious part is that every time I spoke with the woman in the service department, she didn't seem to know who I was or what the issue was. I had to explain it each time. You would think after numerous phone calls, one would at least remember a name. And the technician, Eric, has no clue what he is doing. How many times can you tell someone you are going to track a delivery and never seem to track the delivery. His voicemail box was always full. He would send a cryptic text saying to text him, which of course went unanswered. I finally gave up, called LG who sent out another service request. Stupid me should have contacted LG sooner so it's my own fault for putting up with Alpha Appliance Solutions runaround for as long as I did. The company that accepted the request called immediately and set up an appointment for the following week. They told me they would never send a part directly to the customer, it would always go to them and they would bring it to do the repair. My last call and text message to Alpha Solutions and Eric received no response. How this company is in business is beyond me. Stay far, far away from this company!!! read more

Ordered a dishwasher from Costco. Costco informed me Alpha would be doing the install on the same day it was delivered. Called Costco ) hours after delivery saying I was still waiting. The next morning Tyrell ( caller ID said Eric ) called asking if I heard from their installer. When O told him no he said installer would have called the day before the delivery. Come 3pm the guy calls me and says he doesnt have the parts and cant come until 2 days from the original appointment. They didn't show up for their 8 am - 12 pm Service window, started to trying to contact them about 2:30, their answer machine is full, their cell number after leaving a message sends a message to text them. Then still no response. All of the other 1 star ratings reflect my experience. LG service is not open to even change vendors until Monday. This company was given to us by LG to repair our 2-year-old refrigerator (compressor dead). They promised a tech from Alpha today from the hours of 8-12 AM. Well first of all they open at 9 west coast time so 8AM is a pipe dream. So, I called them at 9 and an Eric answered and said they are getting the parts and we will call back shortly (NOT). I waited until 12:30PM and asked for Eric who was not there he's out of the office. So, I spoke to a lady who said we will call you back in an hour or less to let you know what going on. So, 1 1/2 hours later no call back, big surprise. I tried to call them for 2 more hours with no one picking up and their mailbox is full since this morning so you cannot even leave a message. It is now 3:30 PM and still nothing. This company lies and I would not recommend them to clean my bird cage. Do not use this company they are unreliable. read more

We contacted this outfit because LG referred them as a service facility for our LG monitor. Nobody called us back from there so we gave up. Then, one day Eric called my husband and said they'd been swamped due to the pandemic. He told my husband he'd come to our home to pick up the monitor and get it repaired (monitor was just out of warranty and we paid close to $500 for). One day Eric knocks on the door and takes our monitor indicating it'll be repaired and returned before the weekend. HA!! I have made multiple calls to Gail who told me only Eric could give us an update on the monitor. Of course, no call ever came back from Eric. After further attempts to call Gail, she finally gave me Eric's cell phone and said that he was out of town but would be returning during Christmas week. I called Eric's cell. He said he was in San Francisco and he had repaired our monitor but couldn't tell me what the price was for the repair. He said "I've got your number, I'll call you back when I can locate the repair documents". Of course, no call ever came back from Eric. My husband said he'd deal with this after the holidays so once again, we attempted to call Eric whose voicemail is full and is not able to accept messages! I let Gail know this and she said she'd have him call. Again, no calls from Eric! I finally texted Eric's cell letting him know who I was and basically told him that we were sick and tired of waiting to find out the status of our monitor. Didn't make him budge one bit! I just left Gail a message letting her know for what seems like the 50th time that we can't reach Eric and we demand to know what happened to our monitor. I told her I wanted a call back and I also told her that it's pretty obvious that Eric showed up at our home and stole our monitor! Their business license has expired! I have filed a complaint with the CA Dept. of Consumer Affairs. A note to Eric and Gail. . . . . . You both will have to give an account of your ruthless behavior!
