I was a customer of theirs for 10 years. And they were always kind and helpful. And access to my mail was so convenient. I totally miss my mailbox. And as for shipping. They are not FedEx, ups or uses. They provide shipping for these people and box service for a fee. This is a conveniently located "UPS drop off store" in Highland Village so you avoid the traffic of the Galleria proper and only need to deal with the Westheimer traffic on this side of the railroad tracks. The item I was returning via UPS pre printed label had explicit instructions not to drop off at a "box" and instead to use a drop off store as if that was some kind of substantive difference that anyone would know about, like the difference between a Nicaraguan and a Dominican origin cigar (one had airtime in a Seinfeld episode, the other did not.) The UPS locator URL schwiftposted this address conveniently just down the block from the Central Market one way and the Whataburger the other way down Westheimer. So I was slightly expecting an immersive package sending experience and not just sliding something into a box, also known as a glory hole for box sized packages in certain parts of town that "a friend" frequents. Instead I parked in the tiny parking lot, most spots blocked off for the gittin your nails did studio next door in the strip mall, and walked into a space devoid of customer experience. I approached the one woman working the entire store by herself and asked if this is where UPS packages go because this was either that, or the jerk store. She just points at the back to a box, which is what UPS told this beautiful bitch NOT to do in written instructions. I ask if I get a receipt or anything as proof I put this package where I was supposed to according to her instructions in this "authorized" store based on UPS website, in case some kind of scofflaw or other criminal were to stuff the package down their underoos and abscond with it into the night. She just shook her head no. Not excellent customer service. But the package eventually got to where it needed to go so I guess this thing works alright. Yes the prices are higher than the post office but that's the point of bringing the packages here, they do it for you all you have to provide is the address! I have not had any issues sending anything out, this company is very reliable and sure does beat standing in line for 30 mins! read more

Recently visited Houston and needed to get a stack of papers notarized and shipped on a quality way. The owner and his wife and their store exceeded my expectations. The store was clean and well ordered, they were so kind, patient and engaging with all their customers and with us as well. The older Indian lady that works here is terrible. If management or the owner sees this please have a talk or reprimand. She is rude, not helpful and obnoxious. I came in today looking for small bulk packaging for my business. Every question that I asked her about a product she cut me off while speaking and wasn't helpful with anything. There were boxes that had pricing in the wrong place so I needed clarification. When I moved to another area in the store and asked about another product she hollered "that's the same thing as what you had over there" , I'm like no this size looks different , I flipped the box over to check measurements and indeed it was different. I took a picture to note the difference and she hollers "you can not do that, we don't allow pictures. She made my shopping experience so difficult. I put everything I was about to purchase back and proceeded to walk out until I asked her name and she said why, lol she didn't want to even tell me the owners name. Guilty much. People always know they've fucked up when a name request comes. SMH I wouldn't spend a dime in this place. read more

Needed stamps, got stamps - paid $0.60 for $0.49 stamp. I needed one stamp, but got a book of 20 as I was paying with a CC. Not sure why the guy suggested I drop my letter at the nearby Post Office instead, which was a 5min walk away. On the way back I stopped by to inquire about the stamp pricing. The guy said he thought I knew I was paying higher price as this is not a Post Office, but a private business. He promptly issued a refund for the 19 stamps I opted to return, and the single stamp price ended up costing me $0.65 (total rip-off in my mind). As I know it would be unfair to punish the business with a 1-star review, I'm just subtracting a star and hope the owner properly discloses mark-up for stamps he charges. read more

I brought in a small box with 2 T-shirts to ship. The lady quoted me $23 for USPS and said it would take 6 day shipping. She didn't offer any alternative. I thought this was extremely high. No way could this be correct. I said no way and I left and took my package to the post office. The price was $23 for overnight and only $10 for 2 day. Point of the story is that this business will quote you the highest option and give you no alternate. They are a total rip off. read more

Needed to ship back a pair of shoes to 6pm.com who doesn't provide free returns. When I was told it would cost me $20 plus the cost of the box, I decided to just keep the merchandise. On my way home that price just seemed crazy for a single pair of light weight Nikes. I took the box to the post office the next day and shipped them out for $8.
