I also love how easy it is to process Amazon returns at the self-service kiosks. Parking can be a bit tricky, especially during busier times, but remember there is street parking available along W. Clay Street!

This UPS Store is an absolute embarrassment to the UPS brand. I paid $260 for an overnight shipment under 10 lbs -- a time-sensitive package meant for one of our restaurant locations in California. What should have been a routine transaction turned into one of the most incompetent and unprofessional experiences I've ever had. From the moment I walked in, it was obvious the staff was poorly trained and completely unprepared -- a group of young clerks being micromanaged by an overbearing manager who seemed more focused on hovering than actually managing. I provided the correct address directly from Google, clearly visible on my phone. The clerk copied the street and number correctly but somehow entered a completely different city, state, and ZIP code into the system. When I discovered the error the next day, I immediately called the store. What followed was a display of incompetence, lack of communication, and zero accountability. The first employee put me on hold mid-conversation while helping another customer. After multiple calls, I finally reached the original clerk, Ivan, who put me on another long hold and promised to call back -- which, of course, never happened. Hours later, I called again and encountered the same level of disorganization and immaturity. Another employee could barely handle a phone call. After several holds, the manager finally took over and delivered one of the most dismissive responses imaginable: "Sorry sir, you confirmed the address, so there's nothing we can do." Not a single acknowledgment of her staff's mistakes or lack of basic attention to detail -- just an excuse and indifference. No apology. No ownership. No empathy. This location is a case study in failed management, nonexistent training, and complete disregard for customer experience. UPS Corporate should seriously investigate whoever owns or operates this store and re-evaluate their hiring and training standards. What's happening here is unacceptable on every level. If you value your time, money, or peace of mind, avoid this location at all costs. There's a reason their reviews hover around 3.5 stars -- and frankly, that's generous. Take my advice: go FedEx. They at least know how to read, listen, and take responsibility.

The staff work hard to take care of each customer quickly but without making them feel rushed. There are several dedicated parking spots out front which makes it even easier to drop by while out and about. If you're taking the MetroRail, get off at McGowen and it's only about three blocks away. I also appreciate the fact that this location stays open until 7pm most nights. Some of their services are on the pricer end ($2.99/page for faxing is steep!) but the staff were upfront about these rates before offering assistance.

Today, April went out her way to make sure I knew my package was taken care of, mind you April always been great with me and while I like everyone April just clicks with me so I always look forward to seeing her when I drop stuff off. I'm a music producer and sending 10 harddrives off for repairs. It was super busy and she said she'd pack it up for me later, which was fine. I trust her. I asked if she'd send me a pic when she was done and she did and sent me a quick text showing me ( attached ) It means a lot that she did all that for me. Those hardiness have masters for a slew of poo tracks I've done and it was important af that they get there safe. So thank you April for always being great! Drew

I was a customer of theirs for 10 years. And they were always kind and helpful. And access to my mail was so convenient. I totally miss my mailbox. And as for shipping. They are not FedEx, ups or uses. They provide shipping for these people and box service for a fee. They are in the business to make money in return for their services and convenience of not standing in long post office lines. Now that is the place with the rude a** government workers.

This is a conveniently located "UPS drop off store" in Highland Village so you avoid the traffic of…read morethe Galleria proper and only need to deal with the Westheimer traffic on this side of the railroad tracks. The item I was returning via UPS pre printed label had explicit instructions not to drop off at a "box" and instead to use a drop off store as if that was some kind of substantive difference that anyone would know about, like the difference between a Nicaraguan and a Dominican origin cigar (one had airtime in a Seinfeld episode, the other did not.) The UPS locator URL schwiftposted this address conveniently just down the block from the Central Market one way and the Whataburger the other way down Westheimer. So I was slightly expecting an immersive package sending experience and not just sliding something into a box, also known as a glory hole for box sized packages in certain parts of town that "a friend" frequents. Instead I parked in the tiny parking lot, most spots blocked off for the gittin your nails did studio next door in the strip mall, and walked into a space devoid of customer experience. I approached the one woman working the entire store by herself and asked if this is where UPS packages go because this was either that, or the jerk store. She just points at the back to a box, which is what UPS told this beautiful bitch NOT to do in written instructions. I ask if I get a receipt or anything as proof I put this package where I was supposed to according to her instructions in this "authorized" store based on UPS website, in case some kind of scofflaw or other criminal were to stuff the package down their underoos and abscond with it into the night. She just shook her head no. Not excellent customer service. But the package eventually got to where it needed to go so I guess this thing works alright. Location conveniently located near the Whataburger on the right side of the street (Lamar side) for your post-package drop off victory celebration that you are full scale adulting and doing things on your own without the aid of an executive assistant or personal secretary that used to do everything for you.
