Basically he was a last minute call. Started a one apartment move at 9:45 am and did not finish until 4pm. The one gentleman stayed on his phone saying he was talking to a manager about another move. My furniture was dropped a few times damaging my sofa and solid wood tv stand. You can tell these guys did not have experience. How did I know this because I worked as a mover for 4 years in college and my uncle who was there worked at a company for 3 years. I have damage to my walls and stair rails. I have 2 sofa's, one chair, king size mattress and rails, two stands, dresser and about 9 medium boxes. It was so bad I rented a small uhaul and brought my own tv's. We had to assist them to bring my sofa upstairs because they dropped it and cause a big hole at the bottom. Scraped my front door at my new place. Left tape and plastic all over at my old place. Mover said if we had 3 movers we would have been done faster in 3-4 hours. The movers were nice guys but you can tell they were not professional. The estimated move turned from $309 to 756. The manager insisted that these guys were professional and we need to pay 680. We had to go help them because they were moving so slow. My last movers were done in 2 half hours with three movers. They did not have a time slot that day for me. I have pictures of all the damage. One manager said we will discount you and just charge you a $100 an hour. Lol That was terrible because two men took almost 7 hours for a one bed apartment. Worst experience ever lady even said I will tell them to stop taking things off the truck if you want pay the $780. Worst experience ever with a moving company. I had a camera system in my home and outside. Two neighbors witness my furniture being dropped. Also the lady was very rude and demanding me to pay 789. Paid $600 and they broke contract when 2 men showed up instead of 3 we agreed upon. They did not tell me this until they were outside. Terrible business!!!!!!! Showed up in a rented uhaul truck. Please don't give me an excuse about covid because camera showed no on had on mask are gloves. . One guy was a last minute hire. The camera shows I didn't have a-lot. They did not fulfill their part of the contract. Inexperienced movers damaged my furniture and walls. They took 6 hours for a one bedroom apartment. They did not have to walk far and dude kept making excuses. Also we had a freight elevator. The one sofa didn't fit in there but we helped them bring it up after the one guy said it was impossible to bring it up. My new neighbor said my sofa is bigger than yours and my movers got it up easy. I repeat do not use them!!! Your movers didn't even wear mask or gloves. A guy named Kevin was able to fit us in and work with our ridiculous schedule because our apartment had some last minute date changes. They sent 3 guys over to move from a 2 bedroom apartment to a townhome. I have never seen such an efficient group of movers that navigated so well and made my life so easy. I literally did nothing besides stand there and eat a sandwich. They finished the whole job in less than 3 hours! I was surprised how inexpensive it was and they didn't trick me into extra costs. Friday night I realized that I wasn't going to be physically able to get finished packing by Saturday AM, and Paige came out w/ the moving team to help me get the last two rooms packed.
