Update: I previously reviewed this place favorably for their exceptional customer service and integrity; however, since they've changed ownership, they calculate every aspect against their long withstanding customers and charge $2 for even less than 6 inches of tape. I dropped off a package en route to work, and since I won't have another opportunity this week to get off work and ship this package, I went ahead and paid the $2 fee, but be warned: just package at home because they won't go above and beyond like they did before. Service has changed drastically, per the new owners. What I found rather suspicious was that when I asked the employees who the new owners were, they all were unaware and supposedly didn't know. If I'm working for a shop or company, I find it rather impossible how I would not know who my own superiors are. Go elsewhere if you have the option to do so. read more

And still have not received the key that is supposed to grant me 24-hour access to my mailbox that was promised to me when I signed up because "the key machine is not working". I have asked on more than one occasion to be notified when I can come pick up the key. Not a peep out of them. It has been 9 months now. I have been a customer of iPostal which contracts wit this company for mail processing. I have had issue after issue with them. They take forever to post mail to the system. This has resulted in my clients getting past due notices when really their payment was sitting in this location just not having been posted. In one really exciting instance, one of my clients sent their first payment, in excess of $10,000 via mail. Guess what, his company lost it! They posted it to my digital mailbox, and when I went in to get it, it was nowhere to be found. They owned up to it as (one of) their many mistakes, but that didn't stop me from having to reach out to my new client to ask them to stop payment on that check and reissue it. Today, I went in to get my mail. The expectation was 10 pieces of mail per my digital notification system; Zac handed me 6 pieces. I reiterated how exhausting it was for them to get something so simple wrong so regularly. They literally have one job: deliver the mail. That's it! Zac (who's been at this location only roughly a month) decided that they no longer want to service my mailbox (even though the issues have been their inability to adequately deliver my mail). I got home to a message in my email telling me they have released my mailbox. Now, this is my official mailing address for my company. I have checks that are already en route! Because it's a business account, I can't simply forward my mail elsewhere. So this is clearly going to be a huge headache and a financial nightmare. Long story short, they are trash. The location on San Felipe and Sage is also trash; the dude who works there literally called me a bitch because I was upset that another one of my clients received a past due notification because they hadn't notified me that the check had been delivered. The customer service lady was on the line and was aghast at what she heard, especially because I wasn't nearly as aggravated as I had the right to be given that that check was in excess of $20K. Do not use these people at any of their locations unless you want your items destroyed. Needed to ship fragile items and wen to their store and told them what and where. They sold me the boxes I needed and I took them home to pack. Packed with peanuts and bubble wrap. Brought back a few days later and they charged me over $700 to ship including insurance. A few days later it arrived and all of it was totally destroyed. I mean in pieces. So I go back and file a claim and after 6 weeks they deny it saying I used the wrong boxes. Yes, the boxes they sold me. Also, when I paid for the shipping the counter guy asked for a $100 tip. I declined and I think that's when things went to hell. He isn't there anymore but that does me no good. So now I get to take them to court. read more

Pros: I hate going to shipping stores or the post office and I try to avoid it as much as possible. I sourced Yelp to find the closest and most highly rated one next to work. The closet ones were closed, but this one had longer hours than the others. I had an extremely large item to ship and they were abkle to package it up for me. They checked the prices of the major shipping companies and found me the cheapest one. Score. Cons: None that I can think of. read more

Please don't drop off your packages at this store. My wife drop off an Amazon return package and it disappeared, Amazon never received it so Amazon charged us the full amount for the item because it was never returned. The staff at Mail & Copies are some of the best in Texas. I have never dealt with more honest and helpful people. I have used every one of their services and have never been disappointed. I saw where one person said that they were not happy with the service they received here and I must say that the staff here talks themselves out of charges to help people out. I have since rented a box from them and their staff are great, they great me whenever I walk in and usually if I have a package they are in back getting it before I even have reached my box. read more

An update to my prior review - I still wouldn't advise anyone to use this store. I was out-of-town and a friend sent me a package and mailed it from this store using a USPS priority box. While ironically another friend send me the same exact item and sent it from this store in the same exact size USPS priority box. If I need to ship something, this is the only place I go. They have fantastic customer service. You walk in the door and are greeted right away. People appear as if by magic to assist you. Their hours are great for a person who works 8-5 and can never make it to the post office before they close. Who wants to go stand in line at the PO anyway? Mail and Copies will do everything for you. Wrap it, pack it, and ship it. No muss, no fuss. I love them! read more

I've been coming here for over 2 years. I have a virtual mailbox through iPostal1 and this is a very convenient location. The old worker (Blake) was amazing and customer service was great. He had a wonderful system where each client had a large manila envelope where their mail was kept so that it wasn't lost. Recently the owner and his wife have started working the location and the customer service is just ok, but this past Friday was the worst experience that I have ever experienced. They lost a piece of my mail (because their system isn't great), however, they had 2 new workers that were working and weren't completely trained so this made it even more difficult. The mail was desperately needed that day and is supposed to be safe coming to a mail center. The two new workers had to be asked to take the initiative to even search for the piece of mail. Eventually they called the owner and he was not helpful at all. I even tried to speak with him and he was not apologetic at all for losing my mail. I made the comment that customer service is everything and he told me to go ahead and complain to iPostal1 as if he didn't care. He also ridiculed me and said you only pay $10 for the service. I then started telling him how he has grossly mishandled this and they owner told me to "go to hell". I made sure he repeated it and he said it again. I left knocking the card rack down as I left. I woke up to an email saying that to give them a chance to find it but I'm sure that it was given to someone else as I have had to give back mail that wasn't mine. I can't change my address as it would take too much time but please do your research and see if there is another place in the area that you can do business with. read more

I had a return box and prepaid return label to ship a product back to the manufacturer for repair. Since I couldn't locate the shipping tape at home I asked if they could tape the box shut for me. "Sure!" they said. Just a single piece of tape across the top. I was amazed when they asked me for $1 for taping the box shut. The first time ever that a shipping place has charged me to tape a box shut. I won't be going there anymore. read more

Couldn't ask for a better service. I had dropped off prepaid packages at least 8 times during the last 2 months. It was never too busy. One time i was in line to drop off another eBay package, the gentlemen at the counter sticked his neck out and asked if i have a dropoff and took care of it right away. Another time, i was short of a dime, the gentlemen said "dont worry about it". Today I needed FedEx pouch to insert the FedEx slip onto my package. The gentlemen just took my package and took care of it. I didnt even have to do anything. Never a fuss and always being so kind. They do charge a little extra for mailing and stamps to keep the business going. I would go here if I need any mailing service. read more

I went in with two packages to return for Amazon. Walked in and before I even reached the counter the man behind it came up and relieved me of the packages and walked off. Terrible service! I went to pay for flat rate postage for USPS which per USPS website is $5.70 but they tell me the charge for same packaging (padded envelope) is nearly $11! Second, I drop off a package to be shipped, after nearly a week, the package is never received by USPS shipping. I spoke directly with USPS customer service only to find out that they are not an approved USPS drop off site!! So basically, this place either still has my package and never shipped it or they lost it, they lied about shipping prices, and they are costing me added money to replace the package they never sent for shipment! I've tried calling several times but their phone doesn't work. Went in person but they just blamed USPS. However when I drop off a similar package to an official USPS site the same week, my package gets delivered. This place is a scam and don't waste your time, money, or business needs on this establishment for their "supposed" cheaper prices. Will never use them again!! read more
