An email led to a phone call, which lead to a quick quote. They were professional the entire time and extremely good about conveying what specific print sizes were needed. The second was the quote itself, which was substantially less than several other services that I shopped around with. They were able to break down the price in a way that made sense, but more importantly was affordable in a timely manner. What I appreciated most was the print quality itself, which looked sleek and colorful. Given that all of this was accomplished in several hours, I couldn't be more satisfied. I will look to them for future print jobs and will continue to recommend them to others who are looking for the same.

CONSUMER BEWARE I…read moreused Postal Zone to occasionally forward packages to an out of state address. I signed up for Postal Zone's mail forwarding services via AnytimeMailbox.com. Apparently certain employees at the Postal Zone do not know how to use the mail forwarding software because they make mistakes and they put a CRAZY profit markup on simple mail forwarding services. On my end, I am asked if there are any special directions that I want Postal Zone to take note of. I notated my account to reflect that ALL packages are to be mailed via USPS Priority Mail. They did this correctly the first time, but then it was downhill from there. My most recent package was forwarded via USPS Ground...which takes a very long time for me to receive. I tried calling Postal Zone, after my 3rd call...someone finally answered. I pointed out their error, but they would not admit mistake and claimed that their software doesn't have my Priority Mail notes on they end. I pointed out that they had been following my notes and forwarding packages via Priority Mail, but the guy I spoke to would not even acknowledge this statement (despited there is a digital log on my previous shipment from them). Even the mail forwarding software company, AnytimeMailbox.com, got involved and called them to show them how to view my notes (they could see them too), but the Postal Zone employee told the software people that they were wrong and there are no notes. And.. Businesses like Postal Zone get discounted shipping rates, they don't pay retail. However, the Postal Zone more than doubles the retail cost of shipping for USPS Priority Mail (keep in mind that the USPS provides the envelopes for free). The literally put my package into a USPS flat rate envelope (less than 2 minutes to do). In summary, they may have good in-person customer service, but I would not use them for mail forwarding.

You're heavily encouraged to use the lounge area right next to where the line starts to fill out your forms ahead of time and you will be charged for extra tape. Be sure to note the lunch break and 4 PM closing time as the USPS website will give you a generic 10AM-5PM. For being a one-man team, this spot does a good job. I got there right at 11:30 and shortly thereafter a line of 5 people built up so try to come early or right after his lunch break is over.

GEORGE A, THE BUSINESS OWNER. WE KNOW EACH OTHER PERSONALLY. Dear George, I want a lifetime of self-producing, & limitless stationery, fully equipped to the maximum with every paper, envelope, greeting card, and business card imaginable. Please. I've been so nice this whole year! Speaking of all things stationery, what particularly gets me off is fountain pens, ink bottles, all kinds of pencils, and erasers (we called erasers, rubbers growing up. Yes, feel free to laugh). In the entirety of my schooling years, fountain pens were the most fun, yet beautiful writing instruments for us. And now I wonder whatever happened to my boyhood years, where we'd squirt mostly blue, and black ink (writing with red ink, if you wanted to have the teacher scold you) on each other's starched white, and ironed shirts. Oh, no worries, those same four or five shirts would be magically good as new after a proper wash, bleach, and care. Going off a tangent as usual. Whenever I think of stationery, it reminds me of all things good, and then I'm bewitched, and transported to my personal stationery drawer, and the two writing tables I shared with my brother. Back to George: knowing George's meticulous planning, attention to detail, and his personality, I can vouch for his Minuteman Press printing business. Fantastic first-time experience at this Minuteman Press location! I wanted to do round menu cards for my company's formal event and had a very difficult time finding a vendor anywhere in Houston that would/could do it. Eric was exceptional to work with and met every request we had! We also had a pretty tight deadline... he made it happen and didn't charge me an arm & a leg. He also showed me a sample of an awesome, creative wedding invitation he created from scratch when I picked my order up. I will be visiting again when I have out-of-the-box printing needs/ideas. Ridiculously great - we had a different Houston print shop cancel our order a day beforehand with no warning, so I contacted Minuteman for a last minute quote, and George, Elize and Eric pulled through for us like champs. I sent in my files Monday night, and they were printed and ready for pickup on Tuesday. Not only did they get the quote to me fast and get my files printed at top quality, but they even fixed some alignment issues with our files beforehand AND stayed late after closing so I could run over and pick the prints up after class. Their rates were more reasonable than their competitors & when I told them I was on my way they said they wouldn't close for the day till my documents were printed!
