They didn't seem to understand how call for help. The instructions were not completely helpful to them. It was more like system issues than knowledge. It made it to the truck after the weekend and delivered a week later. I really appreciate how late they stayed to help after closing time. No wonder their rating is very high among all The UPS stores in Houston.

My daughter had just moved out of state and I needed to ship several things to her. Since the packing process was going to take some time, they taped up several boxes for me and let me work off to the side. Once packed they helped secure, close and move them for me. Very nice - very efficient - glad I found them. Yes - the location is small - they all are. If you feel it's too crowded - leave and come back - don't complain on YELP this location is busy. This business is also UPS - not USPS - learn the difference. UPS is going to charge convenience / service fees so that you don't have to go to the USPS, and books of stamps are going to cost a few dollars more - again - because they are not USPS, and they are charging a convenience fee. With my daughter living many states away, I'll be a regular shipping customer.

As a second employee walked in (5 minutes later) he said "GEEZ!" & the first employee informed him "I know! And I'm not happy about this".... Maybe he was referring to a scheduling issue or the 2nd employee running late... BUT all I said was " yall are busy! That's a good thing, nothing to be unhappy about... & we as customers don't wanna hear that." The 2 employees came down on me like I was cussing them out and I was told that they weren't speaking to me & to be quiet and stop -very loud & forcefully by the 2nd employee. This isn't the first time I've experienced terrible customer service and bad attitudes here at this location.... Do better, train your employees and maybe hire positive people to work in customer service . Very disappointed ... I will say once I got to the counter employee #1 changed his attitude and tried to provide decent customer service - but too little too late.

I decided to go back to my favorite UPS store on Richmond Road. As soon as you walk in, you can hear a happy, professional approach. She is such a professional and knowledgeable person; she explained the process to me and taught me how to buy the frames. I forwarded all my d/l prints to her. I bought the frames she showed me, and in that moment, I learned how important it is to buy the right frames for the wall pictures. This is a conveniently located "UPS drop off store" in Highland Village so you avoid the traffic of…read morethe Galleria proper and only need to deal with the Westheimer traffic on this side of the railroad tracks. The item I was returning via UPS pre printed label had explicit instructions not to drop off at a "box" and instead to use a drop off store as if that was some kind of substantive difference that anyone would know about, like the difference between a Nicaraguan and a Dominican origin cigar (one had airtime in a Seinfeld episode, the other did not.) The UPS locator URL schwiftposted this address conveniently just down the block from the Central Market one way and the Whataburger the other way down Westheimer. So I was slightly expecting an immersive package sending experience and not just sliding something into a box, also known as a glory hole for box sized packages in certain parts of town that "a friend" frequents. Instead I parked in the tiny parking lot, most spots blocked off for the gittin your nails did studio next door in the strip mall, and walked into a space devoid of customer experience. I approached the one woman working the entire store by herself and asked if this is where UPS packages go because this was either that, or the jerk store. She just points at the back to a box, which is what UPS told this beautiful bitch NOT to do in written instructions. I ask if I get a receipt or anything as proof I put this package where I was supposed to according to her instructions in this "authorized" store based on UPS website, in case some kind of scofflaw or other criminal were to stuff the package down their underoos and abscond with it into the night. She just shook her head no. Not excellent customer service. But the package eventually got to where it needed to go so I guess this thing works alright. Location conveniently located near the Whataburger on the right side of the street (Lamar side) for your post-package drop off victory celebration that you are full scale adulting and doing things on your own without the aid of an executive assistant or personal secretary that used to do everything for you.
