A few weeks ago I found this UPS Store location tucked away in the shopping center down the street from my house. My daughter had just moved out of state and I needed to ship several things to her. Since the packing process was going to take some time, they taped up several boxes for me and let me work off to the side. Once packed they helped secure, close and move them for me. Very nice - very efficient - glad I found them. Yes - the location is small - they all are. If you feel it's too crowded - leave and come back - don't complain on YELP this location is busy. This business is also UPS - not USPS - learn the difference. UPS is going to charge convenience / service fees so that you don't have to go to the USPS, and books of stamps are going to cost a few dollars more - again - because they are not USPS, and they are charging a convenience fee. With my daughter living many states away, I'll be a regular shipping customer. read more

I had the worst experience EVER! I was there earlier 03/23/2026 first in line right when he opened. I said good morning he didn't reply. I had to print some papers so I sent him the email. He was so upset and moody with lot of attitude, he said he didn't get it, I kept sending the email but he kept saying he didn't get it, all I know is if you don't like people you should be working at costumer service, smile a little, talk to people, welcome them. You not doing this for free you getting paid. The whole time seems like he was forced to be there, not just with me, with everybody who came after me. read more

When you move to a new town, you are always looking for a few basic neighborhood stores. Ups store was on my list, and luckily we found one right cross the street. I have a big heavy box, and once I got in, I found help right away (during holiday season go early morning) Shawn (Sean) was very professional, asked me basic questions, and answered my concerns very politely. Really the best UPS store in Uptown. Always friendly staff. Every time I go in they always have a greet and let me know they will be with me asap. I think this is why I like this spot. They always make me feel welcome. They have stamps and other supplies needed always in stock for last min buys. The bubble tape they carry at this location is top notch. I think this place rip people off. I had a package to return and the store offered 7.95 return slip with USPS or I can go to another shipping store. I chose to go to UPS because it's closer to me. When I went in they charged 2.99 to print my return slip and 13.95 to ship my package. How are you charging an whole 6.00 to ship the same item USPS was shipping for 7.95. He told me he waived my print fee...thank you! But I come back the next day to buy 6 books of stamps and he said 13.00 a book. Post office charges 11.00 a book. It's fair to say I will not be doing business there. I'll just drive the extra 5 mins to the post office. read more

Not wearing masks, but they do sort of have a spacing system for the lines. Their boxes for purchase are oddly shaped, but they will "cut them down" for you for free. Higher prices than FedEx right around the corner. Not very friendly staff either. read more

Terrible service here - the man working the front counter is insanely rude and has a terrible attitude. I asked him why he was being so rude to me and he said I don't know what you mean. His coworker apologized to me for his behavior. He dropped all my paperwork on the floor and faxed them out of order also. I approached the door carrying a very heavy item 4 feet from the gentleman behind the counter struggled to open the door realized it was locked looked at the sign it said it opened at nine while the gentleman behind the counter sat there staring at me. I turn around look at my husband and say what time is it and he said it's 851. And the young man continued to sit there and stare at me. What a joke I get it's nine minutes before opening time but there's a lady outside with a heavy item in her hand is customer service best to keep her locked out staring at her while you're sitting on your ass? Or do you get up and help her? Unbelievable! Never again we left I'd rather ship elsewhere! read more

I have been coming to this store for fourteen years and have had a mailbox here for fourteen years. The customer service at this location has went down tremendously in the last few months. The new staff here is rude and have no value in the customer service they provide. They now misplace packages all the time. I come to pick up packages they hand u the ones for today and say that's all they have. But actually have the ones from the day prior. I have tried twice to resolve the issue with the owner. They say he called and left u a voice mail, but everytime I ask them my number they read the wrong number off to me. I have updated my number three times with this staff. At this point I think they are just working hard to keep the owner from knowing what's going on here. And the manager at the location is absolutely no help. I regret to say after 14 years I will be closing my mailbox at this location. read more

This is a good UPS location. It may be one of the smaller stores but they do a good job. They have everything you would expect from UPS and they have great employees. Every time I have gone to drop off a package they are great to talk to and they are always willing to help. What I love about this location is that they have a lot of open parking. No parking garage. :D They are located in a big strip mall with a lot of shops and restaurants around. UPS continues to be my preference when shipping anything I got. I haven't used any of the other services that they have to offer, like their PO type mail boxes that you can rent. Seems pretty handy if you don't want to go though USPS. You can even get large packages delivered to your box which is pretty cool. If I use any of their other services at this location I will make sure to update my review. :) read more

Ups is the worst, delivery guys don't ever want to deliver items. This is their job!!! How are they getting away not making the deliveries they are supposed to? I have used this store and have dealt with Mr. Abdul Baradia, the manager, many times. Whether it's returning an item, having him box and ship something or just needed a lot of copies. Always, always, Mr. Baradia is courteous, professional and fast. He is extremely knowledgable and helpful with every situation. This review is for their NOTARY SERVICE. I made an appointment online for their notary service a week ahead of time, received numerous confirmations and reminders throughout the week. On the day of, walked into a busy store at 12:55pm for my 1pm appointment. When it was my turn, the person behind the counter told me to step aside, as the female employee next to him was their notary person, but she was helping other customers. As I moved aside, the female employee named Mabel told me in an absentminded way that she didn't have her "books" with her so she wouldn't be able to notarize anything for me. I was confused and said but i made an appointment specifically for that? That's when she got pissed and started talking in a really unfriendly & rude way to me. Basically from she told me, the person who was supposed to be there for the notary appointment aka their store manager, had a family emergency and couldn't come in. I then asked her why no one bothered to give me a call to let me know? Did the family emergency happen five minutes ago? Mabel continuing with her nasty attitude said that she had been swamped with customers all morning and didn't have the time. Was I not a customer then? The other male employee came up with excuses about how their email account was also swamped with hundreds of emails so there'd been no time for them to catch up on those and make sure they could keep all of their appointments. They were not store managers, so they didn't know what else to tell me. Please call the manager and stop being an inconvenience to them. I walked out of their store stunned and kept wondering on what planet were these people trained for them to think it was okay to work in customer service with that attitude and manner? Apparently somewhere, someone dropped the ball and messed up the appointments, instead of coming up with excuses and being nasty to your customers, why don't you own up your mistake, find a way to resolve the issue, or simply, drop the attitude and APOLOGIZE sincerely?!! I went back to the counter asking for a phone number to call for a complaint, Mabel gave me their manager's card, and told me her name like "yeah go ahead lady complain away like hell i care". After several phone calls, I was told by UPS customer service that their stores are franchised so I needed to speak to the manager, whom, didn't show up or call me in the first place. Then I suddenly understood the employees' entitled attitude and rudeness. There's no one there to hold them accountable. They do not care at all. A very nice customer at the counter gasped at the way Mabel informing me that my appointment basically meant nothing, and later walked up to me and said that she worked at a bank next door and could notarize my document for me if I really needed it this afternoon. I also got ahold of their store manager named Abdul several hours later, who sounded much nicer than all of his employees combined. He apologized profoundly for this incident, but it still didn't make up for the fact that their customer service sucked. AVOID THIS STORE IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR NOTARY SERVICE. read more

Truly the worst customer service. I seriously might never use any UPS Store after they made me wait an hour and wouldn't notarize without giving a reason why. AN HOUR FOR NOTHING. Packed like sardines into this small room in a pandemic. Just no regard for time or safety. I've never left a yelp review for anything that's how frustrating this place was. At no point did they offer for me to come back. They made me wait and then refused to help me with no explanation as to why he wouldn't notarize. The employees are good but the prices are a little different than the other UPS stores I have been. They charge $3 just to receive and email and then they charge for the copy of the label. Like I said service is good but the prices higher that other stores. read more

FYI we have mailed a lot from this store and that part of the service it great. However if you need a Notary please save yourself time and aggravation. A Notary is a certification that a document is signed by the person or persons of whom they say by showing of "proper identification" of the signatures. We get documents Notarized a LOT... BUT every time we got to this UPS store the notary acts like an Attorney and questions our document. My husband is a top level executive and knows his legal documents etc. However last time the hubby and I waked out he said. "Remind me Never to come here for a Notary again" and I so agree. Again we have spent lots of money there to mail packages etc and they are top notch in that department. read more

Abdul has provided me exceptional service throughout my tenure from mailbox, printing and shipping. He really goes above and beyond for his customers. Sent a package to the hotel. Paid a bunch of money to send it and i went to the front desk to pick it up and they told me i had to pick it up from the UPS store in the hotel. Fine i thought not a big deal. I get there and they want another $5 for handling fees because they i guess handled my package? No where in the chain of events did anyone tell us i would have to pay an additional $5 to pick up my package. UPS Store w/ their hidden fees. Luckily this is not a normal place for me to interact with but in the future I am planning to do everything I possibly can to avoid UPS and UPS Stores. read more

I've had mixed experiences with UPS stores and the level of service. JR at this location has me coming back now for the past year and whether I'm dropping off a pre-paid item or sending something internationally I'm receiving first class treatment. Arturo was very helpful with my complicated shipment and the willingness to have a team effort to complete my shipment from one of the other employees (didn't get her name) is appreciated. I created a bit of a line which makes me nervous to be that customer but you can tell this is a good team because they all pitched to get folks in and out in a professional and smart way so no one was waiting too long. read more

I used this UPS office multiple times for shipping important documentation from Houston to Austin, TX. Always very friendly and helpful personnel, things done in minutes with a smile on the face. The manager of the store Mr Abdul helped me out tremendously in a pretty upsetting case of a lost package: filed a claim for me, answered all my questions, returned my calls promptly, and all in all made my life a breeze!! We were at this store last Friday 1/25/19 for an Amazon drop and print. I have to say that the customer service was above and beyond. My husband and I could not figure out how to print the label from their computer and an employee I believe his name was JT or JR Cooper an African American male (I think I have the name wrong), came over and explained what was wrong and fixed the issue. He was really a true example of customer service in this day in age when most times you feel like you are bothering employees in most UPS and Fed Ex stores. This one definitely not the case and he should get a raise and train others through out the Houston area! Top Notch! We will be back for any shipping needs we have in the future! read more

As written by another friend, if you are up for a notary, expect attitute of an attorney. I mean the person was not even interested in looking at the paper. Was just outright rude and said whats this, cant sign. I was there for my infants visa papers. I went to another store and it was done in minutes.
