Great service. I have mailbox here that we mainly use for receiving packages. The staff is friendly and they try to keep things moving. They are friendly weather someone is dropping off a prepaid return, picking up as a mailbox customer, or our purchasing other services. The only suggestion for improvement is that sometimes they do not open quite on time. Not excessively late but enough to be noticed. Parking can sometimes be a challenge due to the rude valets from the nextdoor restaruant. read more

Employees are great but the owner, Brijesh P., is completely useless as an employer and probably person. Daniela always patient and kind was per usual working alone because the store cannot keep workers, she's doing it ALL. A man comes in and starts to berate her bc UPS lost his package. He.woud.not.stop. After about 15 minutes he left. It was then a customer behind me said that an employee has told him that the very same man had thrown a tape measure or something at Daniela last week. Apparently she reported it to franchise owner Brijesh P. who did NOTHING. His best employee is assaulted and he does NOTHING. Not a damn thing. What kind of person thinks only about the money and ignores the safety of his most loyal employee? Not a person I want to give my money to for sure! No wonder the turn over is so high. Quick and easy! I came around 5pm rush hour time. The school traffic had already cleared but if you come between 2:30-4:30 its a madhouse. There was maybe 3 people in line in front of me and I still got in and out within 5 mins. Parking was easy. In comparison to other locations, this one has been alot quicker and has more people available to help. read more

This location never opens on time, never answers the phone, and is very unhelpful every time I have been. They have lost packages, thrown away packages, and never done anything about it. If you are expecting to come here before 930 you are going to waste your time. read more

I've been going to this store for several years now and I am always happy with the customer service but I've now been there 3 times a 9am (when their hours say they open) where they haven't been open. Typically there are a few other other confused people wondering why they're not open yet either. I was willing to forgive it once or twice but if you are not going to open until after 9 please adjust your hours. read more

Update*** the manager did contact me and as a result I will give them another star. It says a lot about the manager/owner when they reach out to you. Because if this, I will go back. I am shocked to see this store has such a poor rating. I work across the street and use the store often from notary services. I always end up with this guy with dreads and he is quick l, friendly and effective. I just tried to get something notarized and the lady who called me to the counter turned to the lady to her left and asked her if she could notarize something and she flat out said "no, I have to go." The problem I have with that is she had just begun to help someone else and I had only 2 documents. They could have easily switched. She just said no and didn't look up or anything. I am in my car outside of the store. The girl who was helping me said that their other notary was on break and would return shortly. Hopefully, he has a better attitude than his counterpart. I'm giving three stars because of the pleasant demeanor of the non-notary lady and I just went back in and it took the guy notary with drall of TWO MINUTES (I timed it) to complete my transaction. Let me start off by saying I am thankful they were still open but the review of greatness stops there. So this location comes up as an Amozon drop off and the customer service ends rt there. The mask requirement i get but the lack of customer service is beyond me. EVERY UPS store I have gone to scans your phone and prints out the label. But not this location. They DO NOT SCAN AND YOU HAVE TO PAY TO USE THE INTERNET AS WELL AS HAVE THEM PRING OUT YOUR LABEL. I will never come bk to this location. We have our business box here and I arrive at 9am most days to pick up mail. Every single day I arrive when they are supposed to open at 9am I often have to sit and wait until 9:15. I called first thing in the morning to confirm that this location could assist me in my shipping needs. After I was told by phone that they could indeed help me, I came to the store in person a few hours later. Once I arrived at the store I was told that they could not, in fact, help me. When questioned on why they told me they could via phone, one of the clerks attempted to deny that I had called and spoke to someone at that location. After I showed her the call log on my phone proving I had called that location, she continued to deny that she had spoken to me. This whole exchange was unpleasant and absolutely could have been handled with much better customer service. If if you can't immediately meet the need of the customer in front of you, don't accuse them of lying. Do your best to assist them with their challenge. Will not return. read more

This is probably one of the better UPS stores out there. Shipping is never a fun task, but this store makes it bearable and maybe even slightly enjoyable! The employees are are courteous and pretty happy for the most part. I've come here plenty of times to ship my packages and returns from Amazon, and they've always been willing to assist me in taping the packages up and sending them away. I've given them both small and large packages and have never had an issue with it being lost or damaged. There's also rarely a line and even though there's only a few parking spots, there seems to always be a spot available right outside the store for easy loading/unloading. read more

Let's face it - UPS sucks as a shipping company. - Its deliveries are often late or made without much care. - Customer service is virtually unreachable, and unhelpful even when they are reached. - They often have no concept of where your packages are and you're basically stuck waiting for the package to show up. - Rerouting your packages is a crapshoot, and, more often than not, you'll incur costs to have your packages delivered to a UPS office so that you can pick them up and resolve the problem of narrow delivery windows and the potential that you may not be able to be home to receive certain packages or to prevent them from being impacted by the weather. - Moreover, it is not an uncommon occurrence for UPS drivers to just decide they don't want to or can't attempt delivery in certain cases, opting instead to simply mark the package for next-day redelivery due to an "unsuccessful delivery attempt" (in other words, due to the recipient allegedly not being present to take possession of the respective packages). In fact, I've had employees at local stores tell me that that is a common issue with certain delivery drivers in the area, particularly when a driver is assigned the deliveries of other drivers who are out sick that day. All of these complaints, however, relate to the corporate operation. UPS Stores are generally operated by franchisees, and that is the case with this location. Unfortunately, most customers don't know that, and, - even if they do - elect to take their frustrations out on the poor employees at these locations who have absolutely nothing to do with these customers' problems and generally can't do anything to change the circumstances due to corporate policies and the bifurcation of operational responsibilities. Nevertheless, the employees at this location are always courteous and professional, calmly dealing with customer after customer taking out all of their frustration on them - in the snobby and sometimes rude River Oaks neighborhood, no less. They are patient with endless Amazon returns and customers either unable or unprepared to provide the necessary return codes. They are patient with people blowing up over corporate pricing. They are patient with people who feel entitled enough to expect these employees to do everything for them, including things outside the scope of their job, such as packing the items, etc. They are patient with those who believe that they shouldn't have to wait in line, with frustration over their wait time resulting in impatience and rudeness. And they are patient with those who have no time for them and obnoxiously talk on the phone the entire way through their transaction. As much as I don't like UPS as a company, I always have a good experience working with the employees at this store location, who make me feel like they're on my side and are helpful in resolving all of my shipping needs and issues. I have been to other locations and have dealt with employees far more rude, less patient, less knowledgeable, less helpful, less competent. Whenever I have to ship something with UPS, this is the only location I go to for help. read more

Very irritated... so I'm not from Texas, just here visiting. I purchased some liquor from specs to ship back home to California. According to the website for UPS, you CAN ship liquor as long as you have an account. When we got to the counter they said they couldn't ship liquor at a retail location and that we had to go to the ups hub off of sweetwater. So it's about a good 30 min drive in traffic to get there. When we arrived they explained no carries shipped alcohol. Very upset because two different people, including a UPS driver said the hub will take alcohol shipments. I debated writing this review because I have been going to this UPS store for the past couple of years because of its convenient location. Recently I have felt like they are penny pinching me as a customer and charging me the highest prices. For context, I am in grad school, so I am especially not looking to spend any more than I absolutely have to spend. Today I took in a package to ship (pre-packaged) and the representative helping me was very short with me and seemed distracted by other things happening in the store. Despite letting her know this was already packaged and that I was simply sending this unopened box to someone else, she initially charged me the cost to re-package my item. After explaining again, she took the charge off and it was a $40 deduction. I explained that I was trying to do this as cost effective as possible and thus did not need my package to arrive any time soon. She did not make any changes to the shipping method and in total, I paid over $60 and my package is arriving two days after it ships. I have sent other packages to this location and they have taken almost a week to get there. A week prior, I went in to have my study materials printed and I was working with this same representative. The font on the page was small because of the volume of text on the page and she offered to show me how it would look if she printed it with different settings. I said I could read the writing as is, but because she offered I took her up on the option to see what it would look like with these new settings. When she rang me up at the end, I was charged for the test prints she did. The only associate I enjoy working with when I go to this store is Simran because I feel like she is trying to help the customer not only with what they need done, but also make it as cost effective as possible. No business should want their customers feeling cheated when they walk out of the store. I will not be returning to this location and I will be going somewhere else where I don't feel the staff is trying to charge me with as much as they can get away with. read more

This is my favorite UPS store in Houston. Never a line, always friendly and efficient, and open until 7 pm during the week. Also love the reserved parking since the lot has gotten very busy since State of Grace opened. On that note, I will avoid coming here at 6:30/7 in the future because the restaurant's valets literally had cars backed up throughout and outside the lot this evening. Not that it's at all the UPS store's fault, but a bit of an inconvenience when you're just trying to get in and out. read more

Called before I went because I wanted notary service. They answered promptly with a real person and confirmed service was available until 7pm. Upon arrival, I was met with two friendly faces and they remembered that I called. Quickly got my document notarized and got a copy made of another item. I've been using this service center for over a year and the customer service friendly. My issue is my packages are missing and not arriving at their destination. I look at the UPS tracking numbers and no package to be found. Same goes for USPS. I have packages that have gone M-I-A since November. I've contacted the merchants and they too have no record of the packages ever being scanned. I don't understand once they have left my hand I would expect my packages to arrive at their destination and we're going online several packages that are two and three months missing and I have no way to recoup the loss merchandise. Today was my second visit to this establishment and I was sufficiently underwhelmed to write a review. I can overlook an odd odor (and some seriously strange looking random potpourri which we all can agree was a woefully ineffective stopgap measure). The person working didn't put their personal phone call on hold to help me. She clumsily tried to measure my box with a tape measure while holding the phone in one hand and never once even looked at me. It was awkward. She is always friendly and helpful, and this girl is efficient! She multi-tasks like crazy and always gets everything done correctly and to my satisfaction. This UPS store is a good place for package drop off, as there is rarely a line, but avoid anything more complicated or that necessitates interaction with the staff. UPS stores nationwide are not known for stellar customer service; this one sinks to new lows. Margarita, over my few interactions with her, has less than happy to help me and more than happy to explain what she cannot do. This attitude is typical of the store's employees. Today was the last straw. I needed to mail a letter via certified mail or UPS. I explained this to Margarita, and pointed out that the address was a PO Box. She suggested USPS Priority mail, quoted a price of $9.xx, and started taking down the appropriate information. I asked if we could just send it my certified mail. She told me to go get a manila envelope from the shelf and fill it out. As I was filling it out, she told me it cost over $10 to mail certified. I told her I'd rather send it by priority mail then. So we went through the process of re-entering the shipping info, she rang me up, and kindly informed me I could get the same service for under $6 at the postal office. At this point, I was committed though and wanted to get this shipped; I said the $9.xx was fine. When I went to swipe my card, I noticed the total was over $10--Margarita had charged me for the envelope I had started to fill out. You'd think the 100% margin might cover such a thing. Not worth the trouble of arguing; I paid and got out of there. Avoid this location. The prices are dramatically higher than common alternatives and the experience is painful. read more

I just went to the store to drop off an item for DHL. The woman at the counter would not accept the package unless custom form was taped to outside. I explained that I spoke to the company I was returning to and they told me the custom form goes inside box and i had verified this twice. She refused to take the package and the pressed a very negative attitude. When I asked for manager she ignored me and then said she was the manager. I use this store all the time and I have never had any problems. But at this point with this rude attitude and complete lack of professionalism I will not be using this UPS again in the future. For the record I called the business I was shipping it back to again when I got home to confirm and they assured me form goes inside box and they would pick it up via DHL courier in the morning. read more
