Shopping in Houston, Texas... My niece needed some markers for a last minute art project. We considered other stores and hobby shops, but decided on Office Depot because they might have the best selection. Parking was free and easy in the shared lot. Inside, the store was spacious and organized! My niece had a wide range of product choices. We found the cashier and went on our way! Thanks for a pleasant experience! read more

I have been coming here for a few years. The service is always great. Self print is self explanatory and simple. Customer service is great. Everyone is always helpful. I also learned today they price match any store which can save you some coins. read more

Printed several documents SEVERAL DIFFERENT TIMES and each time it does not print to the same color that was sent in. Then after discussion the answers are "It must be our printers." So disappointing. Do not recommend. read more

Say what you want. Shaq can be seen everywhere inside of this Office Depot at Kirby Richmond Plaza. The mall was busy with lots of good Asian eateries. I can't deny coming here. It was a shopping frenzy on a crazy Black Friday. I was researching for a specific sit stand desk. The only store that has it is this Office Depot. But I hate wait in line during CoVid pandemic. Help me God! "Dude," says God. "Go to online shopping..." right. I can't remember when I turned on my computer but online shopping on officedepot.com was OMG. So many searching for options and this and that. So I finally found one and paid for it. Within 2 hours, Boom. "Your order is ready for pick up" at 2:30 am. I got so excited next day because I actually got to sleep in. I took my sweet time to drive to Office Depot. Then, something doesn't look quite right. OMG. Wrong item. The desk is too big. So I started looking at floor samples. Boohoo... I had to return it. This is the problem with online shopping. I really need to touch the merchandize. So I found something might fit but quality was not there. Oh well, so long, I guess. Until the next major attraction to this Office Depot. read more

Love when you're greeted upon arrival! I've been coming here for over a decade, prime location, easy to access and staff is eager to help. Inventory is well stocked. You have plenty of variety to choose from, school supplies, office stationary, office furniture, and the print shop is speedy with reasonable prices. All it needs is a storefront makeover. read more

Office Depot - Office Equipment Near Me - Houston, Texas

Thumbs Up: This Office Depot has been a reliable source for office supplies for a couple of decades. Thumbs Up: The employees are consistently helpful. While they can be a bit overzealous during quieter times, their assistance is appreciated. Neutral: The store is somewhat distant from Downtown, but there's an Office Max (owned by the same company) on West Gray. However, I prefer this Office Depot location over the West Gray store. read more

Last two online orders have been awful. I don't need extra work to order work products for our offices. I end up calling "the help" line in India both times to verify the same address we have used for years. They verify the address and then try to up sell me on paper, pens and pencils, seriously. I don't want to talk to you. I don't want to be bothered. I will find another source. read more

one would think having prints made would be a simple task. the guy at print desk was absolutely no help. lost money at the printer just so it could resize my quantity of prints in its own. I'd rather buy a printer from somewhere other than here than to ask anyone here for help again. or a helpful staff at all. I only leave one star cause it won't let me leave none. read more

This morning, after I called Office Depot to check, Ciera informed me that my USB drive was safely kept at the store. I had forgotten it in the printer after printing. Later, I retrieved the USB drive from her. I'm very grateful for Ciera's assistance, as well as the excellent service provided by her and her colleagues. She also helped me bind my documents. The service at this Office Depot is outstanding! Without the help of the Office Depot staff, I would have lost my USB drive. I really appreciate their assistance. read more

Less offensive than the Orifice Depot, I'm sure you can guess what that is. Within walking distance of my house, it just basically has a lot of fun office supplies and paper and stationery and contraptions that might help you but they're mostly overpriced and I would only go here rather than a discount store when I was in a pinch or didn't have any wheels. read more

My one and only visit to this store was due to the Office Depot brand saying they were having a super sale on a bulk amount of printer paper that day that you could pick up in stores. Their online page said that this store had some left in stock. So I dropped what I was doing to run over here to pick it up since I was in the middle of exams for the quarter and conveniently had run out of both paper and ink cartridges printing out all sorts of fun things to read and study (well, actually with my $53 brand of ink cartridges I basically get three Sad Pepes to empathize with and maybe 100 sheets of course notes before the cartridge is drained.) When I got there ten minutes later after checking the web page they are completely out of that deal at this store; which is not what it said online of course. Their next best deal is terrible (and limited to three packages of 500 sheets per package) but I am held hostage since I am out of paper, so I grudgingly accept the shittier paper that costs more than the better paper that was advertised for cheaper. When I have more advance notice I just buy my ink cartridges online but that fell by the wayside this quarter with everything else going on over the past few weeks. It has been a while since I bought ink cartridges in person. But I very much dislike the system they have in place at this store - just like buying Sudafed at a pharmacy you need to go up to the cashier and tell them what you want, and they turn around behind the register and they pick it out for you. What to heck. I'm not buying cigarettes or the precursor to meth, why can't a brother pick this up off of the shelves like pens and paper in the other aisles that customers are allowed to browse? This seems absurd and requires far more human interaction than I really want just to buy some gat dang ink. Brick and mortar stores like this are not going to continue to exist in the near future when online retailers start getting their stuff to you same-day without crazy upcharges. The only thing they have going for them is that they are directly next to Luna Pizzeria so after Office Depot has finished pissing you off, you can go simmer down over a nice slice of pie next door. read more

Office Depot - This is what she looks like from the parking lot - Office Equipment Near Me - Houston, Texas

Customer service is lacking here.... Just reiterating information from my tip when I checked in: usually when you walk in an establishment, you're instantly greeted. However, that wasn't my case upon entering. Cool.... I then proceeded to look for the item I was intending to buy. Two of the sales representatives walked smooth passed me. Didn't offer any assistance. Terrible. So finally, tracked another worker. I said, "excuse me ma'am" as soon as I got her attention, she turned around and gave me a look as if I was bothering her....once I read that look, I politely asked if she busy...she stated no, so I proceeded with asking for help. She pointed me in the right direction which was great. The reason I'm giving this store 2 stars because of the lack of customer service. But overall, the store was clean and well kept. read more

It where I go to get most of my school supplies and project stuff. The people that work the cash register are suually pretty nice but for whaever reason the people that work on the floor usually aren't that nice. It's normally a hit or miss when I go there. One time I go there I have three or four people, the next seems like everyone is running from me rather than wanting to help. The latter happening normally when I can't find what I'm looking for. This place is usually clean, stocked pretty well (out of what I'm looking for though). When I need school supplies and don't want to drive far it's the closest and easiest store to get to. Get in, get what you need and leave. read more

This office depot is a bit odd in terms of what may seem as "natural" doorways. For example, the entrance is toward the inner side of the strip-mall; for me, I assumed the entrance doorway would be super close to where I had parked. It's okay because I got more steps for my fitbit. The organization of the store seem a little less intuitive as well. For example, office supplies like shredders, staplers, packaging things are on the right side of the store. Contrary to my inclination, other office supplies like hanging files, folders, highlighters, etc are on the opposite side of the store. I may have spent more time in this store than anticipated. I found almost all that I needed/wanted, but I may look for another store the next time I need office supplies in a hurry. read more

I'm never one to even leave Yelp reviews but they're customer service at the business center was so bad I had to..... waited for 45 mins to get acknowledged by an employee to even look my way ...my sister had to get one of the young guys attention to ask a question...it was taking 3 employees to help one person for over 35 mins ...everyone moves slow as if people have nothing to do but wait on them ...no customer services etiquette what's so ever ...it shouldn't take 45 mins to print something...I'm still waiting as I write this review read more

Had to get supplies to make professional case files. I've never been in this store so I instantly asked for help. The gentleman that help me was quite useful even though the store didn't have everything I needed. I wondered in here while waiting to meet a friend for dinner. The store is large but feels empty. The prices seem high as compared to what you can get the same things online at Amazon for. I guess if you need to run in for a ream of paper or some office supplies it's the place to go for the selection, but Wal-mart would have them beat on prices any-day. read more

Right when I walked into the front door an employee asked me if I was looking for anything in particular, which in fact I was. Compounded with the fact that I was in a rush I went ahead and told him what I was looking for. The only problem was that right at the exact time I needed to communicate what I wanted I completely forgot what it was called. *Enter my horrible description of a magazine holder* Even though my rambling gave no real clue as to what I was seeking, he was able to decipher what I meant and lead me straight to it. I was in and out of there in less than 10 minutes. Without his help I can easily see how the trip could have turned into a 30 minute experience of wandering aimlessly around the store. Thanks Office Depot Guy! read more

It's your run of the mill Office Depot. What I like about this location is the staff - they are incredibly helpful - even when you're not quite sure what you're looking for. Nothing really separates this from other OfficeDepo locations. I came in to buy some labeled paper for a school project. I was a little dishearten that even after walking around the store 3 times no one offered to help me even though they were all standing around talking to each other. However the check out staff was very friend and even pointed out that they were running a better deal if I wanted to save some money, so they defiantly get points for that. I had a handful of things I needed to purchase today for my office. When going into OD off of Kirby Drive, the customer service was certainly lacking. I had trouble finding post it "flags" as to mark where signatures are needed on paperwork. After not finding them, I stopped and asked an employee who looked like was doing inventory. The look he gave me was of our annoyance. He said he didn't know what I was talking about and turned back to his papers & handheld inventory device. I stood there, thinking he would help me, at which point he looked back up at me and gave me another look of annoyance and then said "I can try to find them." He looked on his handheld device, showed me a picture of exactly what I was looking for, and said "yeah, we don't have those." And went back to what he was doing. I said "awesome" and went back to look one more time before leaving. Low & behold, I found them and there were plenty. I work in a customer service industry and so I could be picky, but if you're on the sales floor of any store, you should be willing & ready to go above and beyond to help your customers. If you don't feel like helping, Atleast guide me to someone who will. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED. read more

I ordered some racks online for a client's home. I'll not review the product (left a lot to be desired) but I want to give 5 stars to Rhonda who helped facilitate my return, even though it looked like I'd have to go another route and arrange a pick up from my home etc. thanks for helping me check one item of my day's massive to-do list!!! read more

Took almost 15 minutes to pick up a pre-ordered print job. The one person at the counter was busy, but 5 guys were standing around chatting while I waited. I picked one and was good to go... 2 weeks later it started acting fussy with the pages it was supposed o shred, so i took it back for an exchange... no hassles, no worries. now i can shred away to my heart's content, and just because i like the shred as much as i like to party, it makes great confetti too.... but i ain't cleanin' up all that.... read more

Would give their customer service no stars if possible, but thought everyone needed to know how horrible and incompetent their customer service is. I ordered a file cabinet, and when I checked on the delivery I was informed that the item was coming from the vendor and could not be brought into my house. I then told them to cancel the order and DO NOT DELIVER, since I could not physically get the file cabinet into my house. Everyone in customer service was real nice and sent all kinds of emails letting me know that the order was cancelled, and I would receive a refund. However, their customer service was incapable of complying with my request and I found the file cabinet delivered, sitting on my front porch. So, I called their customer service, who completely missed the point, that the item was not to have been delivered and will sit on my porch until they pick it up. I also emailed and ripped them a new one over their incompetence. Suddenly customer service is silent. The supervisor who was supposed to call never did. No email repsonse from them either. I will never purchase from Office Depot again. I am going to contact their corporate headquarters with copies of my email communication with customer service - these folks are polite but STUPID. read more
