He showed up on time, did great work, cleaned up, and his price was competitive. I thought I had someone I could use going forward and refer to others in my community. Last week I called for him to remove two small tree/shrubs. I needed it done within the next few days, and I acknowledged that he might not be able to come on such short notice. He said he could come and I sent him photos of the two small trees along with a 5' palm tree that I was hoping he could add onto the project. He didn't respond to the text, but that was ok because I trusted that he'd come at 8:00 a.m. the next day, as planned. Jose never showed up, and he didn't respond to my phone calls and texts. The voice mail on the other end was in Spanish, and I couldn'tunderstand it. I thought perhaps it was saying something to the effect that someone was sick and they were behind in their work, something that would explain the no-show. No one called or texted. I'm very disappointed, but I will find someone else for my tree work going forward. He can do great work, but only if he shows up. When this kind of thing happens, it's a deal-killer for me. And I am very disappointed. I finally decided on 1 star, which is "not good," because 2 stars is "could have been better" and 3 stars is "ok." I waited to put out this review on the possible chance that he'd get back to me with an explanation and apology, but it hasn't happened.

4 1/2 I have 2…read morelarge, mature camphor trees trimmed, and overall I had a very positive experience with this company. The crew was professional, courteous, and worked efficiently. They made clean cuts, showed good attention to safety, and clearly have experience working with large, established trees. I also appreciated how thoroughly they cleaned up the area afterward--it was left neat and tidy, which made a big difference. The tree still has a strong structure, and it's clear they focused on reducing weight and maintaining safety, which is important with a tree of this size. The only reason I didn't give a full five-star review is that the pruning was slightly more aggressive than expected, particularly with some of the larger limbs. I would have preferred a more gradual approach to preserve a bit more of the natural canopy and shade. Overall, this is a knowledgeable and hardworking team, and I would absolutely consider using them again with a bit more detailed communication beforehand about the extent of trimming.

I was paying my gardener $600-$800 every year to trim this tree obviously it made it grow out even more. The guy said it can cause more growth if you just trim it like that. Which makes sense.. They are licensed and have insurance to perform work with houses with HOA. Now I have less fallout. Their pricing is very reasonable and they bring big work truck with shredding machine along with the truck. I highly recommend.
