Great customer service, HHUUUHGGGEEEEE selection... definitely one of those iykyk spots. I finally got a chance to try a place I've driven past a million times but never actually went inside, and I'm glad I stopped in instead of just running errands. Ended up finding way more than I expected and honestly could've stayed in there longer just looking around. Definitely worth checking out.

Don't sleep on this place the chef is phenomenal the food was fantastic the family vibe is there and they do good business. I ordered a plate of lamb ribs, turkey tail, mackerel in coconut milk, cornbread luau, fa'i in coconut milk, sapsui and meat pies. All were fantastic the meat pies where new from last time I went their and great add on was great after a warm up in the air fryer. Any time I'm in long beach I'm grabbing something from here.

Best Samoan food in Southern California, hands down. My team had never tried Samoan food so I decided to order a spread for them! Everything was great and made it early enough to get some Pani Popo. Everything was amazing and I think you gained some new fans of Samoan food which was the whole purpose.

This spot is a true hidden gem for samoan food in Carson! Food was delicious and you can tell everything is fresh and homemade. Everything on my plate was seasoned to perfection and did not disappoint. Staff was extremely kind with attentive service and the ambiance was inviting with many decorations. Hope to be back soon to try other things on the menu!

I had never tried poly food before so I was excited seeing what was on the menu. Poly is a small take-out spot but packs a BIG punch in terms of taste flavor and just feel-good comfort food. The New Zealand sausage is bomb. I also liked their chop suey, chicken curry, turkey tail and mussels. First time here so I was limited to what I could get. I liked this place so much I came back the next day. It was that good!!This spot is clean and cosey. The workers here are very nice and you can feel the love they put in the food. You just feel welcomed coming here to get great tasting food. I will try their meat pie next time since they run out quick. Thank you to my friend for introducing me to Polynesian food. This place is a gem and I wish there was one just like it near where I live in Anaheim. Thanks Poly. Now I need me a souvenir shirt.

This is our second time driving out to Poly. Grill &Bakery. Today we picked up some Turkey Tail, sausage. Corned beef, Taro in coconut milk and Sapa Sui. So good we forgot to get a picture. But we also ordered Half moon pies, Palusami, to pick up the next day Once we were there to pick up the items, we also tried the Pani Popo, Panikeke, and the Suafa'i. Can't say enough on how good they each tasted. My husband said each item was just like home cooking and for me it reminded me of visiting of our family gatherings. The location is easy to find. Not to far off the freeway. Once inside look over the prepared food and let them know is what you would like from the prepared food. We were thankful to meet Miracle, she was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable of each item we ordered. Next time you stop in, talk with the staff, let them show you all the choices.

Poly Grill is da bomb!! Wish they were closer so I can get me some delicious Samoan food. This hidden island gem is located on Carson St right by the 405 freeway. My favorite is the sapasui, povi, and palusami. No other place makes their palusami like Poly Grill!! The type of noodles they use makes the texture of the sapasui delish, and I can't find this noodle at any store!! The povi is so good and pairs extremely well w the creamy palusami. I don't really eat taro and banana but I like the way they make theirs!! Family owned and operated, very friendly and helpful. May be a bit pricey but then again so is everything else!! We've tried other Samoan food between LA, SD, & Riverside and Poly Grill is BY FAR THE BEST!!! They make fresh bread (unsliced) and it's so yummy!! Great half moon pies too!! Don't forget the traditional Anchor butter (imported from New Zealand) bc it's sooooo delish w the fresh warm bread!! Highly recommend if you're craving Samoan food. And I also like coming here bc it's a far drive and I love food ventures!!

The meat pie was 70% cheese & had meat with one mushroom in the filling. Most meat pies are 90% meat in New Zealand.

We came all the way from Santa Clarita and we're not disappointed. Past all the namebrand places by the aquarium and came here and we're not disappointed. I had the work burger, which has fried portobello mushrooms. Others in our group had grilled cheese and poutine burger, and Italian burger and the hotdog and the breakfast burritos. No one was disappointed actually, we were surprisingly pleased with our selections. Sleeper items are the fried cheese curds by themselves. Make sure you get these. Also the onion rings are batter dipped. And beyond delicious! Only bummer is the drinks are cans, so if you need more than one drink, be prepared to pay for each can. The food was super delicious!!

Another reason I wanted to try it…read morewas because they served poutine, and I'm always on the lookout for places that offer it. It was really loud during our visit. I'm not sure if it's always that lively on Friday nights, but it was the weekend of Warped Tour, so there was a lot of music and energy. If you're looking for a quieter meal, this may not be the best night to visit. The food itself was good, but the wait was much longer than expected. We waited almost 40 minutes for our order. Unfortunately, my burger was also made incorrectly. I ordered the Bacon Bleu Burger but was served a different burger instead. Not quite sure what it was, but it had mushrooms and American cheese. Since we had already waited so long, I decided to just eat it rather than send it back. The burgers were flavorful, but they were smaller than I expected for the price, and they don't come with fries. To round out my meal, I ordered the poutine fries. They were decent. The fries were nice and crispy, which I appreciated. My husband ordered the Burger Don Chendo, and that ended up being the standout of the night. I usually don't like spicy food, but this burger had just the right amount of heat without being overwhelming. Overall, the food was enjoyable, but between the long wait, the incorrect order, and the portion size for the price, the experience was a bit hit-or-miss. I'd be willing to give them another try, especially for the Don Chendo burger, but I'm hoping for a smoother experience next time.

I'm hoping this was an off night for them because man, what a let down. This was my friend and my first time here and it was all over pretty rocky. To start, zero ac inside, we asked to move outside and they very quickly accommodated us which was great. We came for the LB week 3 course after seeing the menu online. I was looking forward to the Tuna entree but they had changed the fish, that's ok changes happen but my second choice was the steak... this was unfortunate because online it just listed it as an individual entree upcharge where at the location it was actually required to share and a double upcharge. So I ordered what was never a preference and got the replacement fish. On top of that there were some misleading wording about the pastas but that's ok, wasn't even the worst part. We ordered, along with some oysters and were excited to get started. Things started great with the table apps and wine but it was about 15 minutes after we finished those we thought we should check on those oysters, glad I did because they clearly weren't going to come out. Besides a few missing condiments to go with the oysters, the food was great up to this point. But, it was now over 40 minutes since our apps and the 2nd course (pasta) was no where to be found, better ask again. Another flag down. Both pastas came out about 5 minutes later having clearly just been cooked and both were underwhelming. There was mention of Italian sausage as a listed ingredient but as a Sicilian I can tell you, please don't bother listing this ingredient, it was microscopic at best. Another suprise came when the check hit the table and we had to inform the server we hadn't even received our entrees. It made sense though because even though we ordered around 720, it was now almost 9pm and they were closing. By the time the entrees came out (3 minutes before 9) the pace had been so slow we were just so annoyed we wanted to go home. We actually had to cancel the plans we had after dinner because it was getting too late. Honestly, the worst part was that there was no way they didn't know how long service was taking and there wasn't a single person that even said, "we're so sorry about the wait". We honestly understand things happen, but to completely pretend it's normal and not acknowledge that we had to keep asking about our food.... I mean, that just makes us feel like we chose the wrong spot because we clearly weren't that important.

YAAASSSSSS We were STARVED and even my Omni daughter loved everything!! Women owned, family business that is top notch Vegan Mexican food!! We started with Elote Fried Corn Ribs. That sauce!! I ordered the Taco Plate with Al Pastor & Jackfruit Carnitas, and side order of an Asada Taco. Rachel ordered the Flauta Plate. We make them fresh to order... so we added chips & guac. OMG Then she came back later, checking in again, we were so happy, and how I was wanting the Aguachile next time. She says, wait, I have extra from another order, you can try. Light, fresh, spicy, similar to ceviche, yet more complex flavor. Dang. Yeah, gotta come with Jennifer!

The ice cream was good but I'm assuming they don't make that in house. Overall disappointed. Not worth the drive and the 10 minute time to find parking. The vibe of the place itself felt pretty gloomy too. I unfortunately don't think this place will be open much longer if the quality of food/service doesn't improve.
